Been a patient for about a year now for maintenance back issues. They suggested I try the new shockwave therapy for my feet (plantar facitis). When I get out of the bed in the morning, I am in so much pain that I put all my weight on the handrail just to get down the stairs. I have intermittent pain throughout the day depending on what I am doing as well, to the point where there were days where it would limit my ability to go on walks with my dog without pain, and needing to take breaks to massage/stretch my feet. I tried my first session and noticed the following morning, I had zero pain in my feet. Later in the day I had some soreness in the problem area located during the therapy. I was advised prior to the session this was to be expected. Additionally, before receiving the therapy, I was advised I would need a few sessions to achieve therapeutic results and was very pleased to see after one I was already improving. Fast forward a week later and my pain is about 50% better after just one session. I will be pursuing a package plan. Everyone, and I mean everyone was so welcoming and kind. The whole staff would make eye-contact and give a warm, welcoming smile. Both Dr. Banks and his intern physician were kind and knowledgeable. They explained things thoroughly before, during and after the initial appointment. He explained, demonstrated and then watched me perform at home PT that he prescribed to make sure I was doing it correctly with the correct form. He enjoys discussing his pets, so if you have pets and want to strike up a conversation to keep your minds off of the manipulation of your muscles and bones while he works he will gladly talk about his dogs & cats proudly I went for a sports, weightlifting injury because I figured he would have great insight into how to correct my issue because of his background in sports medicine for Kent State University and he did, discussed the treatment program with me thoroughly, and why I was having the issue. I hadn't been to a chiropractor since the early 1990s and the last one I went to just left a bad taste so it was difficult for me to trust another one, but I'm glad I did. read more

I have been ALOT of this last year being tested. I've had a emg, mri, ct scan ,trays and I'm sure there are a few others I'm missing. None of my HUGE team from a very well known location could solve this mystery with my walking. A friend referred me to Dr. Banks, within minutes, he could tell it was my hip. It appears to be almost a 10 degree difference than my left hip. He also explained why this happend in detail. He also found me a very great doctor to perform the next step I need to take. I recently had my first ever chiropractic visit here with Dr. Courtney. I have had fears of going to a chiropractor because the thought of having someone adjusting my spine and neck is unsettling. After over a decade of back issues I decided I needed to give it a try. I explained all my issues and anxieties to Courtney who was very professional and thorough. She took all my concerns into account and took extra time to explain everything we would be doing before ever hitting the table. During the session she talked me through every thing she was doing and why. I can't say enough about how easy she made the entire process. I have been coming to see Dr Banks for about 5 years now. He is simply the best. He Cares about all his patients and provides great care for all of of our needs. They have all new technology, so if you want to get adjusted and then go into the infrared sauna, or the hyperbaric chamber, do some cryotherapy, ultrasound, dry needling you name it. I recently started having hip pain to the point of not being able to lift my left off the ground more than and inch or two. I started working with Kyle, the PT in the Wellness Center doing Dry Needling and OMG...I had success after the first session, it didn't last very long as I knew it would take much more work. Tennis elbow I've been going to Dr Banks now for over 15 yrs. I've given countless referrals but have never done a review until now. Of course everything he does is magic for my whole family from birth but this will be specific to my "former" tennis elbow and consequently shoulder pain. I did all the rehab stuff for over a year. I saw Dr. Kyle who is the physical therapist for jaw and ankle therapy. He is the absolute best. I've been to several physical therapists in the past and he is by far the best Dr. in the area.
