    Pizza

This place is close some friends, so I stop in occasionally for lunch. It's always busy, but the service is good and the line moves quick. The people who work there are really good at keeping things moving. They have a great selection of food, from pizza and Italian dishes to sandwiches and hot paninis. It's a deli with hot food and Italian choices, which is really nice. They have good salads too. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but it's a busy lunchtime deli, so it's not unexpected. They have a casual dining room too, which is a great option when you want to sit in and eat. I never think twice about going there, it's really a great place to stop in for a tasty lunch.

What I really wanted to give was ZERO star.. the other day my office coworkers order few breakfast and I ordered bagel with cream cheese. Wow!Wow... I paid extra $ for this?? Where's the cream cheese??? Do you see?? Seriously?? I understand price went up on everything but come on... My other coworker ordered hungry man on a roll. Never seen such skinny hungry man in my life...

This is still one of my favorite lunch spots. The paninis are a really good deal. They have a big assortment of already made paninis ready to heat and they are all good. I do notice that they have been getting stingy with the chicken on the onI order most "the Bistro" and I'm guessing that goes for the other ones also. Don't think people don't realize! Some bites don't have any chicken and the cutlets are now really thin. Just raise the price if you have to and don't skimp. Update 10-25-19: Not sure what's happening to this place. It seems like everything is dirty. Cash register is dirty, bathroom is disgusting with thick grime and dirt on the door, and last 2 times, no soap in Men's room. The dispensers didn't even have a bottle in them. This is troubling since the employees use the same bathroom and don't wash their hands with soap.

where's the grilled onion relish? The "diner style" grilled patty melt the fries ?? The ranch!!?

Great deli around Melville with it's own salad bar and great list of foods to eat. Can get crowded during lunch time.

Lunch can be pretty hectic here but if you order online the food is fresh and well composed. Great deli.

Stopped by La Nonna's Pizzeria and had a great experience. The space has a classic pizzeria feel,…read morecasual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing comfort food with friends or family. The service is great. We tried a mix of items starting with the Nonna knots, which were basically the ultimate garlic knot sandwich with chicken cutlet, cheese, and sauce. Super filling and definitely a standout. We also had the buffalo chicken pinwheel and the Philly cheesesteak pinwheel, both hot, cheesy, and fresh with really good flavor in each bite. The calzone was loaded with ricotta, mozzarella, and chicken cutlet and came out perfectly baked and satisfying. Overall, a solid spot for classic Italian comfort food with fun twists on familiar favorites. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

For many years have been a loyal fan of LaNonnas when their food and service was A++; no more. I…read morerecently started to wonder if the place had been sold or they got a new cook. First situation had to do with delivery service person...He arrived with none of the hot food (3 dinners) in the "hot food carrier", the tops on the food were popping off, and the food was cold. The man also could NOT speak any intelligible English at all. Normal tip got reduced. When I called to make a complaint whoever answered the phone didn't want to handle it, so he put the delivery idiot on the phone. When I managed to get someone I thought was in charge, they apologized profusely and blamed everything on the driver, including the undercooked Fettucine Alfredo. It was so underdone that it filled only half of the dish than it usually did. The veal rollatini was made with what looked like a thick slice of spam which was folded over once and held with a toothpick. Got only 2 where there should have been 3. Same thing with the eggplant rollatini. Shorted on bread. All this $78! Willing to give them one more chance I placed a second order for 3 dinners - Eggplant Rollatini, Fettucine Alfredo and a meatball parm hero. Better delivery, but again shorted on the eggplant rollatini & accompanying bread, undercooked Fettucine and a total of 2 meatballs cut in half in the meatball parm hero (1 for each half of the hero). Plus NONE of the mozzarella had been warmed on top of the hero or the rollatini dinner (a slab of mozzarella was just laid across the hero and the dinner). Only $72 for this fiasco. And, in BOTH instances, the accompanying sides of pasta were hard as a rock and stuck together. Some time inbetween these 2 orders I ordered a large Pepperoni Pizza. I paid $28 cash and it had about 20 pcs of pepperoni on the whole thing. Not only that but the crust was burned. So...I finally got the message and I hope they do too. I'M DONE, stick a fork in me.
