I recently hired a property manager but was unsure of the quality of house cleaner the PM would…read moreuse. I figured the odds of getting a decent house was better if I found someone. When I first contacted them, neither of us knew my tenant DESTROYED my home. Dried feces everywhere! Some cleaners might've backed out. But they didn't. They also used a fabulous disinfectant and odor eliminator. This husband and wife duo did an AMAZING job! They definitely know what they are doing and WILLING to do a great job. Their attention to the smallest of details made the price increase worth it. On my exterior camera I saw the husband clean up the door mat, shaking it out real good and all, and sweep underneath it. Wow! On my exterior camera I saw my repair contractor lift up a safety board and didn't put it back down. My repair guy passed this board he left up many times, didn't put it back, and left. I was so frustrated but didn't want to bother my house keeper about it, when there were so many other things I had already burden them with. But guess what... without me saying a word, these folks saw the safety issue and the board tossed up and put that board back down! KUDDOS! So if you are calling around getting quotes, let me tell you.... you might not be comparing apples to apples. Because the quality of work, down to the finest of details will probably not be what you'll get with someone else. I'll post some before and after pictures.

They sent the bill to the wrong address, and then sent me to collections ~ a year later because I did not pay (I would have if I had gotten a bill and known I needed to). I called the owner and account manager, and neither called me back. They refused to refund the fees to us telling us there was nothing they could do since they already sent us to collections. It cost an extra $300 in fees. I called both corporate and local. I would not recommend these guys.

I called HL Thayer our to investigate low pressure on my system. The two individuals who showed up…read morewere somewhat rude, and they told me my bladder tank was bad and they could replace it for $1,600. I thought that seemed a little steep so I called out another well driller. He tested the tank and found everything was fine, he did some more inspecting and found it was just a clogged filter and it would cost $5 plus the service fee of $90. It was the bad filter keeping g my pressure down. I still paid Thayer the exorbitant $125 service call but will never call them for anything again.

I had a bonehead moment yesterday as I frantically drove our UTV from our barn up to the house,…read moreacross our yard, because I was trying to flag down the FedEx guy. Ran right over our well cap and cracked the housing. I think my cursing was echoing up to a mile away, as angry with myself as I was. We had John from HL Thayer out today and he replaced the cap and sanitized our well for a fair price and was VERY customer-service oriented, explaining not only this procedure, but questions we have about our current well equipment setup. We just replaced the pump and tank in Oct 2011 through another company, and while they were nice folks, it turns out the installation they did for us is less than optimal. Some companies would have seen this as an immediate selling opportunity, but John instead took the time to walk us through it all, and recommended we just continue as-is until replacement becomes necessary, at which point we will reconfigure more optimally. Well, THAT is how you build customer relationships and not just make a quick sale - by establishing trust and educating your customer. Also, on a more personal note, he assured me that he was expecting much worse, because most times when well caps get run over there is far more damage - and that made me feel a little bit better about my boneheadedness yesterday. HEY! Psychological support at no extra charge! :) We will be using Thayer for all of our well needs moving forward. Recommended!
