The place didn't look or smell clean. The guy behind the counter wasn't at all friendly or helpful. I didn't enjoy my sandwich.

This place is very clean with some cool caricatures of celebs on the walls. The latkes are massive and perfect in every way. The matzo ball soup is simply the best. It has a classic huge matzo ball in a delicious savory chicken stock. This would be enough but you can get the "mish mash" which includes white chicken meat and noodles - yum. The salads are all fresh and well done. The tuna and egg salads are my my favorites. All the sandwiches are of a reasonable size but you can upsize for a price. They offer fine deli quality corned beef, pastrami and home style roasted turkey all of which are phenomenal. You can't go out the door without taking some dessert and/or cookie on the way out either!

The young lady behind counter took my order and then looked back to the kitchen and apologized to the person there. I seemed strange, so I asked if they were closing. She stated they close at 6p. It was 5.45p when I looked at my watch. Never knew having a paying customers (at $18 a sandwich) needed apology, but not a great impression. It was prepared in less than 5 mins and I was on my way. In the end, it was decent food but nothing special. Probably not coming back any time soon. Word of advice to the owner....employees shouldn't feel customers are an "inconvenience". Best wishes to you

The short rib sub was absolutely delicious served with Kettle chips. The meat was perfectly cooked and must have fallen off the bone before being put on the roll. The ribeye cheese steak was good with American cheese served with kettle chips. The ribeye was juicy and flavorful. I only wish the rib eye was sliced and not crumbled with more gooey cheese. Forgiveness because the short ribs were insanely good. I opted for a side of coleslaw (dixie style) however just a tad too sweet for my taste. They offered traditional bratwurst and kraut with mustard for Oktoberfest weekend. Definitely a must do in Berlin. They sell beer and wine. I'm coming back for the Reuben, brisket grilled cheese, and pastrami!

Broken glass, ice and wine/beer everywhere. My wife took it in good spirits and we moved tables. The waitress was nice but very awkward the rest of the time. It took a while for our food to come out. In the meantime we ran out of drinks and had requested water multiple times. Nothing. This is a small place and there were 3 other tables. Finally we got drinks and our food showed up. I had the brisket sandwich. Mouthfuls of fat! Gross. The brisket was good but my sandwich was 1/2 fat. My wife's was the same. Cute place. Horrible experience. The food could have been good but you can't serve a sandwich that's 50% fat. Our drinks were comped but that didn't make up for the overall l experience.

Enjoy a freshly made hoagie or sandwich at the deli counter. The turkey was boars head and was delicious. The sandwiches can be custom and the workers are extremely accommodating. The freshly made sides looked really good as well. However, the sandwiches with a bag of chips was the perfect beach lunch. You can also dine it and enjoy a beverage at the bar or purchase liquor to go. The seltzer selection was amazing and the wine selection was top tier. The store is small but packed with goodness. Service was quick at the deli counter and checking out, making for a seamless process. Parking is limiting so it is best to reach by foot. Having a good market to go to while at the beach is key, and Anthony's Liquors did not disappoint!

I admit mixed feelings about Boar's Head over their Jarratt, VA facility and contaminated product, but hey, that was a while ago. The sandwich board is extensive and I really wanted a hoagie, but settled for the Steamship- a fusion of warm corned beef and pastrami on rye with deli mustard and Swiss cheese. There was some sticker shock, and the team had the sandwich up in a couple of minutes. There's a wide selection of snacks for fans of Utz and Herr's. There's also a wide array of snacks nuts! As cool as Anthony's is, I missed one thing: cold pop. If they had it, I just couldn't find-'em. The sandwich was decent. I think I may gravitate to the hoagies next visit. Recommend! .
