As for the server, she appeared to be a one and only in this small restaurant which she did with great efficiency. She was serving, taking phone calls and handling the counter for take out orders. Back to the menu, the corn pudding and limas with dumplings were delicious and practically outshined the main courses of fried chicken and grilled pork chop. My husband's pork chop was a little dry for my taste but it was welled seasoned and my fried chicken was too greasy but very moist inside. Finally the front case of desserts makes you want to just skip dinner and settle for sweets. If we are in this area again we would truly make an effort to eat here.

We had been there once before in the Winter, and thought that the food was very good. I remember having a Monte Cristo, which was tasty. We arrived and placed our order: Southwest Turkey and a Chicken Caesar. Neither sandwich had any substitutions or changes. They were ordered as is. The receipt (see photo) shows that the order was placed at 11:47am. There were others ahead of us, so we sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. After about 15 or so minutes, we noticed that patrons who came in and ordered after us, we getting their orders. Finally, at apx. 12:25pm my wife went up and asked where the food was and wanted a refund. The cashier apologized. Suddenly, the food came out and we were told we could have a bag of chips on the house. We grabbed a bag and left. When we arrived home, we found out that not only did the order take over 30 minutes but that it was wrong! We got two Chicken Caesar sandwiches (see photos). One looks great, the other not so great. So, our second visit will be our last.

A gentleman with silver hair and glasses slicing meats immediately peeped that I didn't know what I wanted and offered his assistance he was polite and super helpful.
