I started using SubShuttle about two years ago when I needed to arrange one of our Senior Directors to get from SJC to Santa Cruz. And Uber/Lyft just isn't reliable enough for me when I'm managing the schedules of my CEO's and Senior Directors. Anyhow, Patrick Eze was awesome. This was my first experience with SubShuttle. I was in excellent hands with Patrick who just made it all so easy. Patrick was responsive immediately, ensured that my managers would be picked up from the airport and taken to their destination, which was an hour away. Then he set it up so they'd be picked up a couple days later and taken back to the airport. But that wasn't the end of it.... one of my managers had a family emergency and the trip was delayed. Patrick was so nice when I cancelled. Then about a day later, I called again to set up a pick up and, once again, Patrick was really nice, really professional and still took care of both of my managers when they needed a ride to the airport. Employees of the company Subshuttle, Inc. are reliable, responsive, and personable. I recently was part of a very large group staying at a hotel where they are working as the valet service, and they were totally great. Approximately 450 people, including many children, arrived in many cars within a short span of time, all with luggage, and Patrick handled it all beautifully. He was helpful and super-competent. He was very patient, as we all asked him the same questions, one person after the other: "Where should I put my car?" "Is it OK if I leave my car right here?" "Can you keep my car close by so I can get things out of it for my kids?" It was a lot happening all at once, made more difficult by the fact that many small children were on the scene. I recently contracted with Patrick from SubShittle to transport guests between a hotel in Santa Cruz and a wedding venue in Boulder Creek. Patrick was quick to get back to me with a quote, and was competative pricewise; plus he provided more service than I found at other companies. We required two 15 passenger vans and both arrived on time, were clean and ordor free. Both drivers (Mark and Francisco) were professionally attired and were polite and helpful assisting guests as needed. They even provided a stools which were appreciated by those in their golden years. Music was tasteful and at an appropriate volume for the occasion. Temperature chosen by drivers was perfect...not too hot and not too cold. I am the Promotions and Entertainment Manager at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and every week for our concerts we hire Subshuttle to do all of our band airport pickups and drop-offs. Hands down, the greatest thing about a company like this is the reliability! Normally when asking to go places out of the norm many drivers may not be willing to make the trip, or may do so with reluctance.Though that has never once been the case with Santa Cruz Sub Shuttle! Patrick is by and far the kindest, most helpful driver that I have ever had the chance to be driven by. Patrick drove our group of six very rowdy UCSC surf team members to Kelly Slater's Wave pool from Santa Cruz to Lemoore with the upmost patience and professionalism. Sub Shuttle is the best driver service out there! Personal attention and care to every detail is given. Even in this terrible time of the virus, they are willing to get us or we would have been stuck!! Their car was fanatically cleaned and hanitizer was available for us if we wanted it. (Even though you can't buy it in the store, so nice of them to share!) The ride was completely customized and both Patrick and the other driver we had went out of their way so we could see the redwood forests and the beautiful ocean views. Patrick and Sub Shuttle did a fantastic job for two events at our wedding weekend. We contracted with them to do a back and forth shuttle for our pre-wedding picnic that was in the area, and then contracted for four shuttles to transport guests from the wedding hotel in Santa Cruz to our wedding venue in Saratoga. Patrick is an Angel in disguise. I was driving on Boulder Creek and was avoiding the car from the opposite side. This resulted in my car hitting the boulder. Apparently it caused a flat tire, the problem that I had was that it happened on the uphill and on a tight road. I needed 2 jacks to ensure that I can easily lift the car then there came the Angel Patrick stopping to assist. He even ensured that I had safe passage down hill. Thank God for him.
