Exceptionally honest and fair, they even recommended that I take my grandmother's wedding ring to an appraiser and sell it independently, going so far as to suggest a specific appraiser and a reasonable target price. I had a number in mind going in, and even after choosing to keep a few pieces, they exceeded my goal. They also work with a charity, donating costume jewelry, small gemstones, and miscellaneous items. I constantly felt like Bruce was rushing me to the point when I was talking and gave little to no empathy about the situation. He didn't care that these were pieces from my mother. Im a person who gives lots of grace and i can excuse that but the little to no sympathy was bizarre. He did explain that he wouldn't want the diamond center stone because it is not in style currently. Fine, I can respect that. But then every time I started to talk he'd cut me off and rushed me to my point. He was more blunt then i'm used to at typical jewelers. He came off as plain rude. Never once did he give condolences for my loss or let me explain the moral conundrum of selling a family heirloom. I just felt rushed and dismissed. While I was in selling, I felt like he was just itching to get me out so he could serve people who would make him the big bucks. He saw me as a young lady and wrote me off since I wouldn't be spending thousands in his store that day. It's a shame because his cold demeanor and interruptions to rush my sentences made it so I will never recommend this place.

Big, established jeweler versus a smaller jeweler that had great ratings, but we'd never heard of. We're so glad we chose Miro Jewelers. We never felt pressured. Maria just made us feel welcome and important and was so patient with us as we looked at ring after ring trying to find one that sparkled and dazzled and was within our budget.
