We weren't sure what to expect especially because the price was so reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious. Each course was innovative and delicious. The service was fantastic. Finn and our waitress both made it a memorable experience. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. Highly recommend.

It was full of flavor and wagyu was tender. Great item. Tonnato was also good. Very solid item. I did not have stacciatella. Tapenade was sour side, with strong olive and roasted pepper flavors stand out. Vongole(savory clams, fermented Taragu mares chilli white wine and parsley, squid ink linguine) Highlight! Clam and Vongole sauce were very delicious! Squid ink linguine was also good. It was good to have sauce with bread. Bistecca(Babette steak, Amaro jus, garlic scapes, frisee and hazelnuts) This item was also very delicious. Medium rare steak was tender(a bit chewy) the garlic scapes, hazelnut and frisée combination was excellent. i really enjoyed having together with meat. Overall, I really liked this restaurant. I would like to visit late night next time.

Okay, I am officially a huge fan of Juice Bar. After visiting Vancouver recently, my friends and I…read moremade several stops here to enjoy the vibes, interesting wine selections, and the great patio. Juice Bar is open in the evening only, since the space is shared with a café during the daytime. The team is very welcoming even when you arrive early, which is rare for most restaurants. Once you receive your table number for at-the-counter ordering, go inside to chat with the servers. The incredible selection of local and international natural wines blew me away. I was incredibly grateful to try a B.C.-based Lambrusco, which was perfect for the cooler summer temperatures on the shaded patio. The food options are limited, which I prefer, so I would recommend ordering a few of these. The restrooms are easy to find and are very clean, and transportation to and from the bar is easy. Cycling routes are right off the patio, Ubering is simple, and walking is easy. On my second venture to Juice Bar, we had some pretty sad interactions with one of the female-presenting staff. She raised her voice at us multiple times when she wanted us to listen to their directions, and they also treated a few groups poorly. At one point, they came outside and were quite rude to a parking enforcement officer - when it seemed to be the Juice Bar person's fault. At the end of my experience, this person once again raised their voice with our group, demanding we leave the tight indoor space if we were finished - but we were hoping to ask a few more questions to the team. Instead, we left disappointed. My experience here was great, but this staff member should probably take advantage of some self-care or personal skills workshops. Or, just chill and have fun! Hopefully, it was just a bad day for them when we visited. I would typically take more stars off for this interaction, but the rest of the experiences were excellent. We will be sad to see this place leave at the end of September, but I look forward to returning when the space grows up into what comes next!

We started with the hummus as an appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. I also ordered a drink from their 1001 Nights menu, and the presentation was so cute--it actually came in the form of a little storybook, which was such a fun and unique touch! For our main dishes, we ordered the salmon skewers and kofta skewers. Everything was incredibly flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked nicely. The flavors really stood out and made the meal memorable. The service was initially great, and our waiter was very kind and attentive. However as time went on sadly we felt like we had gotten forgotten and we had to remind another waiter to bring our food. They also brought me the wrong dish although I had ordered the salmon skewers so we had to wait for that a bit. The main food sadly was not as flavorful as the appetizer and the drink although the presentation was good. However the manager was kind and apologized and brought us a complimentary Dubai dessert which again had a great presentation but was too sweet for my taste. I will still give this a place a shot in the future.

I came across a door with a question mark on it and figured it was worth a shot. I was seated at the bar, which was so fun because I could watch the chefs at work. So many fun garnishes! Their wine list is so fun. Pet nat, orange wine, all the things. My waitress, who was incredible, suggested the vinho verde and SHE WAS RIGHT! So good, and not something you can get just anywhere. I got the olives, which are stuffed with boursin and drizzled with hot honey. I have not stopped thinking about them since. Oh my god. This place is so vibey and feels like an intriguing secret. Candle-lit, dark, moody, delicious. This is a place you would be excited to impress your friends with.

Is it French? The food is built around Pacific Northwest ingredients and whatever culinary influences fit. However, the menu definitely has a French influence. Chef/owner Kovic Prévost is from Montreal and trained on classic French restaurant cooking I don't know if it's French or not is almost exactly the reaction the name is designed to provoke. The food overall was very good although we thought a couple of dishes were a bit too rich for our taste. My favorite dish was definitely the. Hamachi Tiradito, Nikkei Leche De Tigre - Smoked Trout Roe. The richness of the Hamachi paired very well with the bright Leche de Tigre sauce. We finished the meal with Bison Back Ribs, Patty Pan & Anchovy - Whipped Bone Marrow. We were hoping it would be a star of the night although the flavors were good we thought the ribs could've used a little bit longer cooking to wear. It was fall off the bone tender. Happy eating!!
