TL;DR - Don't trust the sales person on delivery dates. Ensure that you thoroughly check your…read moreappliances before you accept them. Know your right to to refuse appliances that do NOT work (do not let them install it, you accept a broken/non-working product and then send a tech to fix it). And, prepare to spend a LOT of time dealing with them if there are any hassles. My washer went out, and I needed a replacement urgently. I came into their showroom and spoke with one of their sales team. He strongly pushed me toward two options, an Electrolux 517 or an Electrolux 617 both for the same price. I, of course, chose the 617 (the Electrolux 617 online gets great reviews, the 517 not quite as much). I was told by the sales guy that they'd be delivered on the following Tuesday, early Wednesday at the absolute latest. I paid for it, and waited to hear from the delivery people. The next day, I was told that the delivery would be on Friday, not Tuesday (3 days later). Ugh. The clothes are piling up. So, the delivery day rolls around, and they show up to deliver the unit. When it's installed, it 100% does not work. It lights up, but doesn't take water, and the door locks and won't open. They tell me to hang out and wait for the service team to come and look at the unit. I say that's not acceptable. I call the sales person, and while I'm talking with them, the service people leave, leaving the unit behind. So, in talking with folks (sales and service are "different divisions" and seem to use that as an excuse for why things can't get done), I finally get them to understand that I'm not going to wait several days for a service tech to come out and repair a BRAND NEW unit. They agree to pick it up and work on some options for me. After several hours, I reach back out to them to see what they plan to do. Note that they told me if we get a solution today, it could be delivered tomorrow. IF not, then it will be 5 days before they can deliver it. So, obviously, it's URGENT that I get something selected. They close at 6pm. At 5pm I call, and they offer me the "lower version" of the same product ("517") for the same price as I paid for the 617. Or, they said I could get the 627 (the newer unit) for $100 more, as they didn't have any more of the 617. After a LOT of hassle, they said they could do the 627 for the same price as the 617 they sold me. BUT, they have to verify the warranty (which makes no sense to me. If it's a new unit, why do they need to verify the warranty?). The next day, they finally delivered a working dishwasher. But, there was tooo much hassle and headache. Appliances a better way? Hrm... As a last note, my next door neighbor's washer went out about 2 weeks ago as well. They purchased from this same place. Their first unit was DOA as well. So, be SUPER careful. Make sure you get a solid test wash, and that things are working.

We had previously visited Costco and Lowe's, but after reviewing their in-store selections, we weren't satisfied with the available options. Brian, who works in the appliance department, was very helpful. We initially considered side-by-side models; however, we quickly realized that the size would make it difficult to fit through our doorway. Brian explained that delivery contractors no longer remove refrigerator doors when the unit has an exterior ice and water dispenser due to the internal hose connections. There was one side-by-side model available in stock, but it was far too small for our needs. Brian then suggested a counter-depth option. While this wasn't my first choice--since I do prefer having an exterior ice and water dispenser--we ultimately decided it was the best fit given the limitations. The delivery contractors arrived within the scheduled time window and were both friendly and efficient. So far, we are very pleased with our new refrigerator and truly appreciate Brian's guidance throughout the process.

I knew how to get to this one as I had been to this plaza before. It was easy access and I was able to run inside. As I have said before, use the app to navigate around the store easier. I explained that while I am no expert, there being a steady drip of water coming from my AC onto the basement floor seemed to be a problem. The woman helping me offered up that perhaps I should check my filters, but we could go ahead and schedule an appointment anyway, which could be cancelled if that was all it was. It's summer and I expected them to be backed up with calls. I was given the option to have a visit the following Wednesday, or someone could come by on Saturday morning first thing, though it would be at the emergency rate. I went with the latter. Ivan showed up Saturday morning, introduced himself and had the clog issue figured out within minutes. He explained what he was going to do to take care of it, and got to work. When done, he let me know other issues needed to be addressed, but it would be less costly if I scheduled those outside of this visit and also weren't necessary to fix the issue I had originally called about. He explained point by point what else they would do if I decided to set up the additional appointment, how long it would take, and the price. I paid my bill with Ivan, and was sent an electronic receipt with the plan. Ivan departed and the leak was fixed. All is well. Fantastic service.

Environmental Systems Associates replaced my furnace, air conditioner, and water heater years ago…read more I was happy with the work and equipment, and I thought the price was fair for quality work. A friend is convinced that I overpaid, but ESA was comparable to other quotes I was given. Recently, I smelled gas by my water heater - I had to be very close to smell it. Some people online say this is common, but I didn't want to take the risk, so I had ESA come out to check. They told me it was an issue, replaced the "bad" part they identified, and charged me $945. The new part also smelled like gas. I reached out to the manufacturer, Bradford White, and found that this is normal. I reached out to ESA to discuss their mistaken diagnosis and unnecessary replacement.. I called three times and sent three emails, but the only response I got was "someone will call this afternoon." Nobody called that afternoon or any other. In the end I had to issue a chargeback through my credit card company. I do not plan to work with ESA in the future. Edit: I've reached out, per the comment below.
