Personally I had a lot of questions before we started the projects but Henry made everything easy to understand and made the process very easy on us. He was very nice all the time and cared our house as his . The Mimosa crew even finished our bathroom before the given time frame. Even after the Project , Henry checked on us to make sure everything was fine. I was personally very amazed that he kept in touch with us even after the project was done. 5 starts to Mimosa crew and Henry! The filler strip needed to be removed with the new stove. I called these guys, they came out within a few days and did the work for free since they installed the initial countertops. The other estimates I got to do this work were between $500 and $700. The guys came. Did they work quickly and efficiently. We're very considerate and very helpful. And there was no charge since They did the initial install. Highly recommend their work and their customer service.

Mario did a great measure and recommended a deeper overhang on the center island so we'd be more comfortable, and he was right. We came to this place because of all the good reviews we saw online and after we had gone to many…read moreshow rooms to figure out the color and pattern we liked. Although we were a bit hesitant because there were not that many reviews so not sure how much we should trust the existing reviews, we still decided to give it a try because it's real close to us. We really regretted that decision as this place put us through hell. We came here on 6/8/2024 and deposited thousands of dollars right away to secure the slabs we decided to order. We were talked into buying the slabs partially because the sales person, Fatma, told us that another color we liked would take weeks to deliver, and if we put down the deposit for the slabs she recommended that day, she would save the slabs for us which they had in stock. Then fast forward to the middle of July when they came to measure and told us that the delivery of the slabs will be a little delayed. When we asked about the delay because we were informed they saved them for us and Fatma claimed that the slabs had scratches on them, they had to re-order and they would be installing around the end of July. On 7/26, we were told that it would be the first week of August. On 7/31, we were told that it would be 8/9, and on 8/7, we were told that the shipping container was delayed and they would not be here until September. Fatman sent us a picture of anther slab recommending us to switch to that one for the same price, which we don't like... In talking to the store manager, he claimed that he did not know anything about saving slabs for us...and after all the frustrations, we are back to square one... It's not an exaggeration when I said they put us through hell -- 1. all of the scheduling delays caused us to have to re-schedule with our contractor again and again, who has an extremely busy schedule already. 2. We planned to have the project done by the end of July so that we can take a trip for our 16th anniversary. American Quartz&Granite completely ruined that plan. As a matter of fact, we had to take time off work and drive in the pouring rain on our anniversary day desperately looking for new countertops. 3. we re-did the entire first floor and the plumber can't come to re-hook up things until the countertop is in place, and we had no sink, no kitchen, no water, nothing on the entire first floor for over a month more than what we needed to because of their delay. 4. For a family with young children and cooks a lot, any extra day not having the kitchen ready is miserable, not even mention a month more than what we had to endure. 5. Eating out for an extra month cost us a ton too to add on top of this major home renovation. PLEASE, don't trust the good reviews like I did and, save yourself some hassle, just don't deal with them.

The thing I remember most about that first meeting was the personalized board they had up welcoming me and my spouse (Mr. and Mrs. D) - a really nice touch, albeit slightly incorrect as I was there with my husband, and when we went back to pick out selections they had updated it to be somewhat more accurate (The D. Family). Jim, the owner, was straightforward when we spoke with him and offered a competitive price compared to the other estimates we received. After we accepted the contract, Jim's sister and the company designer, Kim, was particularly patient with us as we spent upwards of two hours picking out the various components for the new bathroom, successfully finding solutions to mediate style disagreements between me and my husband. Overall, we were both very happy with our selections and excited for the new bathroom to be complete. The workers were excellent and displayed great professionalism during the remodel. The work began in early December, but was stalled a little bit due to the cabinet and vanity not arriving in time. The bathroom was functional, though not finished, before the desired Christmas date. It has been three weeks since the job completed and we have been satisfied so far with the bathroom. With the work, there were two (both immediately fixed) problems that stood out: First, the new toilet was installed slightly at an angle. We emailed Cardigan of the problem. When they came out the next time to continue working on the bathroom, the worker immediately saw the toilet was not level, apologized that he didn't catch it when he installed it, and made the toilet level to the floor. Second, when we started using the shower a week after installation, the shower was draining extremely slowly. Again, I emailed and called regarding this issue, and they fixed it that day despite Jim attending a funeral that morning. One of the workers came by that evening with a snake and fixed the problem. I was extremely impressed at their responsiveness. Overall, I am giving five stars due to the personalization, work quality, responsiveness, professionalism of the workers, and our happiness with the final result. When we finally move on to remodeling our kitchen in a few years, we will definitely be looking at Cardigan. It took a while to get it done, so don't expect same day service for most items. They have to plan to cut things or move giant slabs of granite around, and it's no joke that stuff is heavy and dangerous. But they got it done and it was easy to pick up. The excessive marble entryway is hilarious, both a nod to the business, opulence, and some fun excessiveness with marble.
