The nitrogen infusion method of preparing the ice cream looks cool and it's fun to watch, but sadly the ice cream did not taste good. We got different flavors and none of us like our ice cream. I can't imagine someone choosing Sub Zero over Marble Slab, Sonic, Baskin Robbins, or just about any other ice cream place. Even grocery store ice cream tastes much better than this. :-( read more

We just went a couple of hours ago for some ice cream coz we thought it was a good idea, its actually was our third time here and have to say that this place went downhill. First of all, it is Saturday supposedly busy, and you have a list of at least 10 items unavailable (strawberries, mixed berries or no fruits whatsoever), Plus you have 3 people working, when its not busy (it wasnt when we were) you would expect one of them to clean the tables, every single table was smeared with stuff. And how about napkins? None! Please do better esp when you have a kroger down the road from yall. read more

One star!!! I'm new to the area and I used to go to the Lake Houston/Summerwood location. Summerwood loacation is amazing the owners are always there and communicate with their customers and go above and beyond to be friendly and present. So my experience here at the new caney location was very disappointing. They close at 9pm and my husband and I decided to go and we got there at 830pm May 27th and the 2 girls working there were sitting in the back and looked so upset my husband walked in 30 minutes before closing they rushed to take the order and didn't even let him finish ordering before they told him to go pay at the counter he couldn't even get a word in and no greeting or welcome either when walking in. And the ice cream was probably the worst out of all sub zeros we've ever been to they didn't even mix in the brownie they just put a tiny chunk on the side and barely put in any cookie dough it was a sad excuse for 2 ice creams for $15 totally not worth it. If you're in the new caney area take the longer drive to Summerwood to get some quality service and great ice cream. read more

I usually go to the location in Kingwood, which is great! I was right by the location in new Caney, my daughter and I stopped by, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! The waffle bowl was not fresh! And service was slow!!!! I thought I'd give another try, maybe it was just on that day, nope! Went again! Horrible horrible! The closing hours posted say 10 pm we park at 9pm and walk to the door and the girl walks up to the door and locks it before we even get to put our hand on the handle to open the door. As far as turning the open sign off when it's not even their closing time. When I entered it wasn't that busy, so the employees were sitting at a table. But instantly got up. They were very friendly. Then they used the liquid nitrogen and froze the cream, which was loud but really cool. The ice cream tasted really good. read more

We use to go to the Kingwood location and had great experiences there. The staff was always friendly no matter how long the line was. Today we went to the Valley Ranch location and had a terrible experience. The two girls in there did not smile even once. We were ok with the bad service until she dropped the whole ice cream on the dirty counter and then put it back into the bowl. We would love for all of the businesses to be successful in the center but not sure they are going to make it if things don't change. Same thing happened to the family in front of us but it was only part of their ice cream and she left it on the counter. I was not comfortable eating the ice cream that fell out on the counter so I just left it on the table. Definitely didn't want them to make another cup with their attitudes. The ice cream was made right in front of me! I chose the regular ice cream mix with oreos and cookie dough. After adding the mix ins to the cream they froze it with liquid nitrogen turned it into delicious ice cream!! read more

The ice cream and sensations are good, a little over the pricing only for the fact that they're making it in front of you. The customer service is awful. When I came in, both of them were laying on chairs with their feet on the tables, which were all dirty aswell. They got up when we walked in, when they were making the stuff, ive heard them cussing a couple times which is fine, but never did I see them put on a mask during the visit. High prices and bad service, definitely won't be going there soon. read more
