The gels gave it a little extra pop of flavor as well. My only complaint was the drink was full of ice chunks which make it slightly harder to drink. As in I have been following a strict eating plan for 5 months, finally having a cheat meal and a cone of Abbott's Vanilla Frozen Custard was on my list for dessert right after a fine meal at Pappas' Seafood. Somebody in the comments said Culver's Frozen Custard was just as good. So we went there and got the special custard of the day. I took one bite. It was gross and not worth the calories. Yeah it was $3.50 but it ended up in the trash. Bummer. Oh and every time we came here (about 5 or 6 times in 2025), everyone was helpful and nice. Looks like Abbott's is planning to open a location near Baybrook Mall in 2026. They'll do great there.
