My sons would love to take the kids class on Saturdays, but I can't get a call or email back with more info, I have tried many times.

One of the best boxing trainers in the business! Great with technique and breaks it down so it is easy to learn. I really enjoy his workouts

There are A LOT of choices if you want to workout outside of the home. A few of the bigger things…read moreto consider will always be time and money. My old gym membership had expired and it was time for me to figure out what I wanted to do next. I started researching some options: Yoga, Gym, Boxing, Pilates, Kickboxing, Private trainer and more. It's mind boggling but more importantly it's wallet emptying.. I was trying to find a place where I could workout whenever I wanted and not have to wait for a machine or make an appointment for a class but also not break the bank. 9Round is not only the best value compared to all the other options, but you can go anytime on any day within their hours (5am - 11pm). There are trainers there to help and guide you during specific times and there are also tv's at every station to show you how to do the workouts. There are 9 stations - and you will spend 3 minutes at each station w/a 30 second break between stations. The trainers are super helpful to show you how to do the workouts correctly, work on your form and even give you a mental push if you need/want it. The best part is you can go as often as you want, and the workouts change daily so you won't get bored of the same routine. It's very clean there and have yet to run into some of "those gym people" who are wearing makeup or cologne and want to be seen. Quick tip - if you want workout with fewer people or without a trainer on site, you can go during hours when they are not available. I usually workout between 1-3pm and it's a much quieter time.

I have not used their services but the representative on the phone was very helpful.

I thought I'd be hesitant about one-on-one training, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. The gym is spacious, full of character, and has great energy. Spencer is an incredibly patient and knowledgeable coach--he teaches at your pace, really focuses on form and technique, and makes sure you feel confident every step of the way. The music is always on point--it keeps you pumped up and makes each session fly by because it's genuinely so fun. After my first class, I immediately got a package because I knew I wanted this to be part of my weekly routine. After finishing all 10 sessions, I'm already ready to sign up for another package. Every session goes by so fast, and Spencer is just an awesome coach--motivating, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making sure you're getting what you want or need out of the session. Whether you're an experienced boxer or trying it for the first time and looking for a great workout to get in shape, build confidence, or learn real boxing technique, this is hands down the best place to go.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, energetic, and motivating. Spencer is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging - I never took boxing, so I'm very appreciative of his patience. The workout was intense in the best way possible--equal parts fun and challenging. I learned proper technique, footwork, and combos. He really took the time to explain the process in a simplified manner and was super encouraging. I left feeling empowered, sweaty, and was excited to come back after each session. For anyone wanting to start their boxing journey, I highly recommend joining!

It's also great to work on your stabilizing muscles in your back like the lower traps. This will be on my rotation of classes for cross training. I mean you're pounding drumsticks around, there's nothing like it :) The one thing I disliked is that a lot the abs exercises worked the hip flexors. 99% of us have tight, overworked hip flexors already. I would have preferred just actually doing ab work without the sticks. Also there is a free parking lot!

Pros: 1) The Front Desk was very welcoming. 2) I worked up a good sweat. 3) Studio is easy to find and has accessible parking. Cons: 1) The class is 30 minutes so I understand it is difficult to teach technique along with a workout series in such a short timeframe; however, for Kickboxing I feel that technique is incredibly important and this was far from the focus of the class. The emphasis here was "Cardio". The technique the instructor did teach was difficult to hear as she was moving and talking so fast. If I wasn't in somewhat decent shape, I feel I could have injured myself. For a class during an Open House when a good percentage of the class patrons are probably taking for the first time, a little more instruction would be well received. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off. 2) The studio is carpeted and this poses a problem from people wearing sneakers. My friend actually slipped during the warm up and got serious rug burn on her elbow and bruised her knee. The studio did not have ice, but instead used a cold bottle of wine to "ice" her knee. I can imagine the other classes here are quite good as a big group congregated outside the studio for the next class. I would maybe try their Barre or Yoga class.

With two locations, Mar Vista and Westwood, each offers its own unique equipment and ambiance, and I enjoy going to both. The gym's diverse team of coaches provides a wide range of workouts and boxing techniques, keeping training fun and engaging. Plus, their first class is free! I've been part of this gym for a year now, and I couldn't imagine my life without it--it's become an essential part of my routine. I found Punch Club during a very tough time in my life. I was angry, sad, and struggling--mentally and physically. I needed a space to release that anger and work through my feelings, while rebuilding strength and confidence in myself. When I first walked in, I felt intimidated. But I was immediately greeted by Coach Kevin W., the owner, who also coaches many of the classes. Right away, he was welcoming, friendly, kind, understanding, supportive, and incredibly motivating. His classes are challenging, but never impossible. He adapts to each person's needs, pushing you to work harder while respecting your limits and physical abilities. His mitt work is fast-paced, and his conditioning workouts are tough, making his classes both fun and demanding. He has a strong presence and positive attitude. I genuinely enjoy not only his classes, but also the community and environment he has cultivated through his gyms. Coach Peacock has been instrumental in helping me develop my boxing technique. At first, I was stiff, uncomfortable in my own body, and lacked coordination. His consistent focus on proper form is what helped me improve. I'll admit, hearing "turn your foot" over and over did get under my skin at times, but quickly became clear that understanding good form not only improves performance but also helps prevent new injuries and avoids aggravating old ones. His classes focus on longer combinations and repetition; they are both challenging and fun. He has a commanding presence paired with a joyful spirit, bringing light to tough days and celebrating the good ones. I'm truly grateful to have a coach who listens, adapts, really sees, and cares for his students. Coach Peacock has helped me build strength and confidence--not just in boxing, but in my body and in myself. All the coaches are fantastic. They motivate you to stay present and focused, helping you work through whatever you may be carrying--both physically and mentally. Each coach brings a unique approach, so I highly encourage you to try them all and find the one(s) that resonates with you. Some may not be your cup of tea, but there's a coach there for everyone. Fair warning--all the coaches have strong, loud voices, and have unintentionally startled me a few too many times! Still, even that ends up being motivating. The Punch Club is a place of community and personal growth. It's challenging, demanding, fun, safe, and incredibly welcoming. I'm so thankful I found this gym.
