The layout continually had to be adjusted due to poor measurement application. Even after the plan was complete, several cabinets were incorrectly made and significant workarounds implemented. We like the look of our wood plank tile, but it will never been sound. Several loose tiles have been replaced and more is needed. I don't think it will ever be 100%. Getting tiles replaced is like pulling teeth, uncomfortable and painful.

We went with a modern theme in our condo and these were perfect. The cabinets and drawers feel very sturdy and strong - not cheap flimsy wood. All the doors and drawers are built with slow close - got to love that. The granite selection was great as well - had a strong range of colors. They also had other countertop materials as well, but we wanted to stick with granite after discussing with Michelle. And all of these came at a really great price. Also, again, without going through the feeling that all Cabazon wanted to do was to push me to buy expensive materials. All in all, Cabazon / AAA is a great business with excellent materials but even better customer service. The lady gave us a quote for specific for five dollars and then when the gentleman helped us he gave us a go for three dollars per knob. The price is good didn't complain since we were on decisive. The gentleman who was helping us was getting frustrated but customers could've got frustrated because he didn't have the knobs that we were looking for as the sales person. The first time i sat down with Carmen she gave me a usable kitchen design for a cook. Their selection was adequate. i do not have time to look through 10 catalogs. I picked my items made some adjustments and was done. I do want to highlight that their quartz pricing and installation is super competitive. Now for the work. Even the other contractors onsite (GC, plumber, fine finish carpenter, flooring) were impressed with the quality and attention to detail. The cabinets were up in 2 days and the counter tops in 1 day. They are one of the few stars in my remodel. The pics do not do the work justice. I took them towards dusk.

Ed and Jose are good salesman. That's about as far as it goes. We were told the 677 sq. ft. ADU…read morewould take between 4 to 6 months. Worst case scenario 6 months. It took 2 years. Just about every part of the build needed to be addressed from the mistakes that were made. The foundation needed to be moved because they said they didn't need the surveyor to stake it because they should be very close. When the inspector came out before the pour, they were of by an inch for the 4 foot clearance. The inspector made them move it. They fell so far behind they were doing drywall before the windows were installed. Only one window was in the right location. All the ruff openings had to be moved. The soffit for the kitchen cabinets was framed wrong. Just about every faze of the build needed to be corrected. We went through 7 project managers. Luckily I have some knowledge about construction and was able to pick up these mistakes before it became a bigger problem. Having my brother in law as the architect didn't hurt either. The only thing I can say is the ADU came out nice. If you think you can deal with this type of experience, by all means go for it. Oh forgot one thing. On the day of an inspection the inspector had to be escorted by the fire department because they hit my gas line. The next day they hit it again. Instead of following the line they started where they wanted to finish and hit it again. Think carefully in your disiscion.
