The prices are okay, but again, only if you focus on food and don't get enticed by drinks and extras! They have veggie-friendly options too. I got the veggie lasagna, but it was nothing like a lasagna. The key ingredients were zucchini and cheese, and it was more like those ingredients were soaked into some crispy focaccia. Still, it was quite good. The walking tour guide I met earlier in the day also recommended seadas, a Sardinian dessert made by deep-frying a large semolina dumpling filled with Pecorino cheese and topped with honey. You can probably guess how that tasted...fried + cheese + crust + honey = WOW.

We were feeling a little disheartened from a much-less-than-five-star meal the night before but were hopeful a good meal could lighten our spirits. We arrived as soon as they opened and were the only ones in the restaurant for most of the meal. The restaurant is tucked away in what I think is the basement level of the building which made it feel like we were eating in an old wine cellar or something which was cool. There was a lingering scent of truffle in the air which, as a huge fan of truffles, got me very excited. We got the selection of four starters which consisted of a carpaccio, prawn and rice, a cuttlefish dish, and octopus. Each one was delicious and unique! For primi, my husband got the gnocchi which was soo good. The star of the show, however, was my tortelli with fish, raw tuna, and black truffle. I was a little nervous about the description as I'd never had anything like it before but it was so worth it. They freshly shaved the truffle on top too which is just *chef's kiss*. For secondi, we shared the Robespierre style filet which was an excellent finale to our meal. On top of all that, service was wonderful and very accommodating. We will be back!

I had the malloreddus (pasta) with gorgonzola sauce and grated pecorino, and it was superb. We were the only foreigners in the restaurant and were very curious about the food they had to offer. We literally went down the list of appetizers on the menu and ordered anything that we didn't recognize which means we ate lots of snails and some other things that I can't even name. We also ordered a grilled orata that was cooked to perfection. For dessert we had to try the traditional seada which is like a large raviolo filled with fresh pecorino sardo, deep fried then served with a heavy drizzle of honey. Everything we ate was delicious and the service couldn't be more welcoming and kind. The gentleman serving us seemed even more exited than us as he watched us enjoy our meal so much. He even sent us off with some local Sardinia cookies. Definitely give this gem of a restaurant a try if you enjoy eating great local food and friendly service.

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. I ate at one of the umbrella-covered, outdoor tables in the middle of the square. Great spot to people watch and enjoy the scenery while noshing on delicious pizza. A waiter greeted us, handed us menus, and set down place mats and utensils/napkins. I ordered the vegetarian pizza, while my husband ordered the margherita pizza. The pizzas are personal pies. I stuck to water since it was so hot that day, but my husband ordered a small beer on draft (he gave a nod of approval after the first sip). After you eat, you pay at the register inside. It came out to about 12 euro. Both the waiter and woman at the register were friendly and nice. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Cagliari. I'd either try one of the many different pizzas on the menu or another entrée, or see what eating indoors is like and also order drinks. Very cute eatery!
