Taccas was the recommendation of my walking tour guide, and I never would have gone here on my own. It seems like a very social-friendly, come-with-a-group kind of place, so thankfully I was able to come here with a new friend I met on said walking tour.
The prices are okay, but again, only if you focus on food and don't get enticed by drinks and extras! They have veggie-friendly options too. I got the veggie lasagna, but it was nothing like a lasagna. The key ingredients were zucchini and cheese, and it was more like those ingredients were soaked into some crispy focaccia. Still, it was quite good.
The walking tour guide I met earlier in the day also recommended seadas, a Sardinian dessert made by deep-frying a large semolina dumpling filled with Pecorino cheese and topped with honey. You can probably guess how that tasted...fried + cheese + crust + honey = WOW. read more
