Best Mexican food in Wyoming. Anyone that says different doesn't know what they're talking about.

Great food for a road trip stop. Great food and friendly people. Good quesadilla and tacos. Very clean and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Authentic Mexican. One of the best stops along all of I-80. read more

Traveling across country and found this gem. Enjoyed every bite. Wish they had a location in my neighborhood. Every trip down I-80 I'll be going back. Thanks for a fantastic meal. read more

This restaurant refused to serve a 14 year old girl who came to the restaurant to sit in the same booth with her grandparents because they did not arrive at the same time. They said it is restaurant policy because they were busy. Shameful! They obviously don't know what real customer service is. read more

We used to come to Sinclair just to go to Su Casa. Haven't been in awhile, it was clean, but that's about all. Liked the old atmosphere better. We had to wait for a table for 4 for 30 minutes, even though there were 2 tables for 6 empty. Food took awhile to arrive. It was ok. Not worth the wait though. Everything used to be better. Won't be back. read more

Excellent Mexican food. If you are traveling on I80 through Sinclair Wyoming it is worth a stop.

Great food and service! The environment is friendly and welcoming. One issue could be parking because the street parking says residents only, but it's a good sign when the parking lot is full. read more

This place is small. But if you poke your head in and all seats are filled, just wait in the heated area just outside the door. Your wait is never long because they make the food so quickly. They are in the process of opening the new spacious larger facility they have been building! You will see from my other reviews I travel to California so I have really gotten to try some awesome mexican food. Although Su Casa "is" a "mexican food" place you will notice just like every one through the rocky mountain region it has a very New Mexico twist. Something which is a staple of mexican food restaurants in this region is green chili. Do not let the word combination scare you, this is a mild sauce that is used (upon request) by cuisine aficionados to smother anything mexican. The result of the blended roasted and peeled chiles and pork is mind blowing. If you are afraid, ask for a cup on the side and put just a little on to try it. You will not be disappointed! I saw another review where someone mentioned old oil and flautas and tacquitos. Ordering that kind of fare at a place like this is like ordering a hamburger at a wolfgang puck steakhouse. My personal recommendation is the steak and mushroom burrito "dinner" smothered in green with a side of sour cream. Very filling, this for lunch or dinner will get you all the way to Salt Lake, North Platte, or way past Denver for your next meal. read more

Great food and service, this town is lucky to have this joint...Being from Mexico aka Los Angeles, I wouldn't call it completely authentic but it's definitely delicious...I would label it more TexMex/Southwest based solely on the whole chili verde theme along with the staff referring to their heritage as Spanish rather than Mexican (also a very southwest/TexMex maneuver)...3 stars because it's not fancy but better than any Mexican food I've had in Oregon so far which is a lame place for Mexican food... read more

Fabulous fresh and authentic Mexican Food. Clean, bright and cheery place. Delightful staff, I am sure they are all family and they love what they do read more

Is this really a five-star place? No. Some guy from San Francisco complained that the veggies were canned and the oil was old. Well, I can tell you that in Rawlins, I'm glad to have vegetables at all in a desert town and I'm glad that the only thing that's old is some frying oil that will kill anything that comes into contact with it anyway. Sooooo...there you go. The food is the best in town...by far. By far. And it's cheap. And the wait staff is really sweet. It's a tight fit in that location, but it appears that they are opening a new restaurant soon next door. Like I said, overall---this is the best place to eat in town. And the price is right to boot. I love the chicken flauta smothered in green chile. I also love the burritos. My friend prefers to go on Tuesdays for Pork Tuesdays. Don't go in a group bigger than 4 people, though, because they can't really accommodate many people at this point. read more

This place was just ok food. They tack on secret charges though for sauce and chips and salsa. They should tell u upfront rather than surprise u on your bill. Nobody charges for these things. Wont go again read more

I'll pass on the so called "Mexican food", but they have okay cheeseburgers. The unfortunate thing about coming from a large city to a small town is what they consider delicious is far from it. read more

This is an AMAZING place to eat !! Very affordable and you can't beat the quality !! Stop in once and you'll be hooked forever ! read more

Absolutely good food, everything from chips and salsa, meal, and dessert. Fresh warm salsa with good chips. Some of the best salsa I've had. Ordered the steak burrito GREEN sauce, beans and rice, everything full of flavor! Had to stack dessert on with the meal, enjoyed the sopaipillas - they have a special twist on it... you won't be disappointed by any means with this place. Thank you. read more

Answered my green chili prayers and more!! First, this restaurant is immaculate. Cleanest bathrooms on I 80. Everything arrives hot, fresh and appetizing. The menu is diversified and there is something for everyone. Desserts were well presented. I will leave earlier, drive a little out of the way; just to eat here. Recommended for even those who are just looking for a burger. read more

A little pricey. But the food is yummy and the service is good.

I really enjoyed my order of rellanos. Staff was very friendly. I think this is a hidden gem in a very small town that is off the beaten path. I will eat here again after a camping trip, certainly hit the spot! read more

By far the best Mexican food you can get! Especially the "Pork Tuesday". Haven't found any better from here to Arizona! They're fast, reasonable, friendly and delicious. I've eaten there probably 50 times. You can't go wrong. read more

I had the chicken enchilada smothered and really good green chili. The green chili is cooked with love. Next, I had the menudo. It was just right and it was not overpowering. my buddy had the deep fried beef and bean burrito smothered in green chili and it set us both right up to get us over our hangover from a concert in salt lake City. this is the perfect halfway point between Denver and salt lake City on i-80. 10 times out of 10 I will go there again if I am making that road trip. by the way the service is just so phenomenal and that's what makes this a charming family place. read more

We stopped on our way through Wyoming and were delighted with the quality of the food. The wait staff was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. We shared a large round table with a person that lived in Wyoming. We had a pleasant visit and learned that he always stops at Su Casa on his travels across the state. The building is fairly new and very clean. We particularly like the salsa--so much so we purchased some to take with us. The lunch crowd seemed to be large but waiting didn't seem to be too long. Excellent food. read more

I love stopping in Sinclair while driving along the I-80 corridor at this fine Mexican establishment, even as a vegetarian. They have great cheese enchiladas and their salsa burritos are amazing as well. read more

I wanted so badly to be able to give a great review for a small business, but unfortunately I can't come up with anything good to say. This is a very small restaurant, only about 8 tables. We had to wait 15 minutes although there was an empty table. First disappointment was no margueritas. We should have left, but thought the food must be great then. Not true. I ordered the Bandido, which was an open faced enchilada smothered in green sauce. The green sauce is not green and it has no green chile or tomatillo flavor at all. It was the most unappetizing plate and unfortunately it didn't taste very good either. It was a gut bomb and I couldn't finish it. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant and won't be trying it again. read more

Delicious food in a very humble setting, Being from North Carolina, all our Mexican restaurants are authentic Mexican run restaurants which offer a slightly different style than Su Casa (more shredded beef, white cheeses, etc.). We finished our Wyoming statewide tour with a stop here as we were crashing in nearby Rawlins. Food is VERY good. The food is Southwestern style and will arrive quickly and hot. There are only about 10 tables so expect to wait at busy times, but only for a few minutes. You might even be asked to share one end of a big table with a different couple :) Rice and beans were tasty. Portions are adequate, but go for a combination if you are hungry. The enchiladas with green chili sauce were very tasty, and the sauce is perfectly spicy. Meals are about $7.50-$11 for a big combination. Free bowl of chips and salsa when you are seated. They may need to expand again if they keep serving the tasty meals we had. read more

When on I80 in Wyoming.. Stop it's worth it. We stopped based on the reviews we read and are glad we did. Got there early and it was already filling up quickly. Had quite a few waiting when we left and I can see why. Had the small combo and it was more than enough food. Salsa is different than what I've had in the hundreds of Mexican places and very good. I'm picky about mexican food and I would say go!! In the middle of Wyoming and great Mexican food-who knew! read more

I've eaten at Su casa for years. It never disappoints! It is located on the main street in Sinclair and is a great lunch stop if you travel I -80. Do not be afraid to wait for a table, they serve people very promptly and it's well worth the wait. Plus, it is always clean and service is excellent. I've actually waited in a line before they opened to eat lunch. Okay the food...... the enchilada sauce is so excellent! I love it so much I ask for a side of it if just to put on my rice and beans. I love the chicken avocado tacos, the green chili, the soappapillas, the fajitas ...everything! Hey and if you want a great hamburger they do have that on the menu for the gringos in your group. They also regularly have specials. In closing, sometimes I'm reluctant to share. I don't want too many people crowding my favorite spots! But, it's not right to keep good things a secret! read more

Was stranded in Rawlins and su casa was recommended from my boyfriend who hadn't been there in 15 years. The food was just as good as he remembered and I was impressed as well. Homemade Mexican food with great service. I will refer anyone to take the short drive from Rawlins to Sinclair and try this. read more

Great food! Waitress says open at this location for six weeks. Quick service Road trip from Ann Arbor. Read Yelp reviews about Rose's Lariat in Rawlins but unfortunately closed on Mondays. This is a wonderful substitute: green chile sauce and cheese smothering chicken tacos. Mm good. Met with owner. In business for 23 years tomorrow. Can see why he's been successful. read more

Who would ever believe there could be such a great little restaurant in the town of Sinclair? Reasonable prices, good food.

Great mom and pop place. This is the only decent place I found to eat while I was working in Sinclair. The people were always friendly and it felt very down and homey. Price was right and always a smile when I came in. Beats the hell out of most places in California where I live. read more

For Mexican food, this can't be beat. Phenomenal food and very good service. If you appreciate flavor and care in freshness, don't hesitate.

An all time favorite Mexican restaurant, beats any place I've been in New Mexico! Eating their green chile has become a spiritual event, and their enchilada sauce is amazingly good and unique. We do not drive past this place if it's open, and bring quarts of green to go with us! Great spot to stop in the awful stretch of road between Laramie and Salt Lake. read more

Called ahead to see if we would have to wait to be seated - as seating is limited - and was told there were a few people waiting. Hopped in car and 15 minutes later we were at the restaurant. Restaurant lights on outside. Time? 7:02. Went in to be seated and we were told they were closed. What? The only other time we were here (it was after 7:00 that we arrived and no problem.) We were seated with other customers (limited seating) and heard the waitress tell the other party that their hours were "when there were no more customers." Guess that's not true. Posted Close time is 7:00. My question is... When I called why did they not say ..."We close in 15 minutes?" Too bad. Won't try to go here again because after a 12 hour work day ..it is not worth trying to guess when they will be open or closed. Recommend that if you go ... Better ask WHAT TIME THEY EXPECT TO BE CLOSING on THAT PARTICULAR DAY. read more
