So so so good! Fresh, fast and delicious! Such a great surprise. Try the churro sundae, it was perfect!!

Disappointing to leave the interstate with plans of eating to discover upon arrival that they are TAKEOUT only. Kept on driving. Leaving this to help others since no one is updating this page. read more

I have to give Su Casa 5 stars. My husband and I plan our road trips east around this place. No kidding. We are known to eat at Su Casa on our way out of town and on our way back when we head east on I-80. The food is off-the-chain delicious and authentic. We eat here, on average, a couple times a month, sometimes more, rarely less, and have never, repeat, never, had a less than awesome meal, no matter what we order. I used to always get the small combo, a delicious sample of the best, but lately have branched out to the Navajo Taco - perfectly spiced meat and tortilla swimming in succulent green chili, and today, delightfully crisp pork taquitos with to-die-for guacamole, and a side of mouth-watering red chili. The service is so friendly and comforting, and the food is homestyle Mexican that makes me weep with delight. This is worth your time, folks, because you will always come back. read more

You'll catch some hype on this little spot - and, quite frankly, if you're making that trip across the cosmos that is the Red Desert, you're probably well advised if you stop in. Some very fulfilling food here. read more

We puled our RV off the road while traveling East on I80 due to high wind warnings. Found a large dirt field right on the edge of town, across the street from The Corner Bar, where we had a beer to unwind. Su Casa Café came highly recommended as a good place to eat and was only a block up the road...so we ventured on up the road. I guess it's the only place to eat in all of Sinclair WY, although Evanston is just a couple of mile a way and much larger community. In any event, there was a l10 minute wait on a Monday...OK, the place is definitely popular. Once seated we were serviced by two women, very efficiently and very friendly. One of them told us that its been very popular since it was featured on one of the cooking shows on The Food Network - but no one seemed to know which show. When we left, the hostess didn't even know it had been featured...hmmm, I could not find any Internet reference to the show, albeit I did not over extend myself trying to find it. The Salsa they served was actually served warm and unlike any I had previously had - it was amazing. Unfortunately, they did not tell me there would be a $2.95 charge for another small bowl of it - it wasn't that good. The food itself was very good. It's been over a week now, and to be honest I don't remember what we had, but I do know we enjoyed it. I have to take off a star for not knowing about (or misrepresenting about) the Food Network show and charging for a 2nd portion of Salsa. Otherwise, highly recommended if you're ever in Sinclair WY. read more

We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. It is a gem for such a small town. We spent about an hour at the restaurant which was a little longer than we had hoped but they were busy because it was a Saturday. My party ordered a variety of stuffed sopaipillas and all enjoyed the food. The green chile sauce was tasty and it had chunks of what I assume to be pork in it. We were worried that it might be too hot but it was a good amount of heat. I was pleased with the amount of chicken in the sopaipillas although one of them had an air bubble so it looked half empty. The food was filling but the portion sizes seem to be a little smaller than other restaurants in the same line of cuisine. Expect to pay $10-$15 per plate. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the level of service. We felt ignored for about 15 minutes after sitting down. There was complementary chips and salsa on the table but nobody came by to offer water or drinks. I am thinking that they are just short staffed at the moment. I found the complementary salsa to be weird, but one of the positives about this place is that is does have a diverse menu with some unique offerings for this cuisine such as the Mexican Hamburger and a quesadilla that is deep fried and served open face. They offer a senior discount of 10% at the time of writing as well as clean restrooms. One suggestion would be to offer two kinds of complementary salsa (I personally didn't care for it but others in my party thought it was alright). Thanks for the experience and happy to support a local family business! read more

I've never been so disappointed in a burrito. We ordered two burritos: one chicken and one bean and that's literally all that was in them: chicken wrapped in a tortilla and beans wrapped in a tortilla. We finished them in three bites. No rice, salsa, lettuce, onions, anything. I honestly don't understand how this place has so many glowing reviews. read more

One of my 2 favorite restaurants in the Rawlins area. Service is excellent and friendly, the food is very good and they are open every day which is a huge plus given so much in Rawlins is closed on Sunday and Monday. They also are very willing to specialize your order. read more

Great authentic Mexican restaurant right off the highway. The place is not fancy but good food and good price. Chile verde was great and not too spicy. Everything was fresh. No outdoor dining and since we had a dog we ordered to go and went to the park 2 blocks down the road as they had shade and picnic tables in the shade. read more

There's not a lot of food choices off 80 in Wyoming. This place was fast, good, and convenient. I ordered ahead by 15 minutes and it was ready when we arrived. We ordered the enchilada plate and three chicken tacos. I have no complaints. I'd order from here again when passing through. read more

Food is always good here, but service is terrible. I called in an order, they said it would be 30 minutes. No problem. Any hour later I was still waiting. I understand covid slows things down, but lady taking my order seemed like I was putting her out by coming to their restaurant. Dont recommend you come here. There are better places that actually want customers. read more

i've been coming to su casa since i was baby and will never stop coming i am in love with the food here!

Yesterday I ordered a meal to go while on premise, paid for it and then asked the wait time and the cashier replied "5 mins" wrong, I didn't get my order until 35 mins later. I ordered a chichen taco, chili relleno with green sauce, rice and beans arrived home to eat only to see there wasn't any green sauce and the chili relleno was about the size of my index finger and the rice amounted to about a tablespoon, if that, bottom line is after eating the entire meal I was still hungry at a cost of $13.58. I would have been much better off had I simple gone to taco Bell. If you want Mexican food, go somewhere, oh and I failed to mention, the next morning I woke up to an upset stomach. read more

Terrible service. Absolutely terrible. They hate out of-town-ers apparently, they wouldn't seat me and sat several people ahead of me. When I asked if I was going to be seated, they said "I can't seat you until your whole party is here" wow, are you serious? So if you're not local, you're not welcome, apparently. This place sucks, I didn't even get the chance to eat the food. read more

Su Casa itself is OK. It's a small place with a few tables and a cafe style bar. Living in the west coast, you get used to fresh produce so when you eat canned tomatoes or whatever, the sweetness really comes out. Do not get anything fried. We noticed the flautas and tacquitos MIGHT have been OK if they replaced the oil once in a while. Good guacamole and mole sauce though. Road trips do not have the spontaneity they used to when we were kids. Now we have gps maps and it takes the guesswork out of trying to find places to eat sleep or whatever. That being said, do not use the Yelp/Google Map to find this place. Lincoln Ave. is 2 blocks from the exit in downtown Sinclair. Not 2-3 miles toward the mountains or behind the Sinclair oil refinery. You will end up in the middle of nowhere in a place reminiscent of the last scene in Seven. It saved me from a bout with Micky D's so overall, it's a good a road trip option. If you happen to be in the middle of nowhere, pop in. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced! The waitress here was great, however, the hostess and the cashier were very rude and inconsiderate. We had been waiting for a table for over 30 minutes and others were seated before us. When we asked why we had been overlooked we were told, " I don't know what to tell you!" Then, after being seated the hostess rolled her eyes when we asked for our own separate chips and salsa. (we were dining separately) We got charged for the extra basket. When brought to the cashiers attention that we were dining separately and wanted separate things, she swore at us and got angry! This is not acceptable and there is no reason to be sworn at as a customer. I have never experienced such awful service at this place!!! read more

I real mexican restaurant in a blip on the map in central Wyoming. Excellent food! Great salsa and chips. I can't say enough about the quality of food for the price all in such a small town. If you're driving by Sinclair, make sure to stop in and have some good food. I had a taco salad the last time I was in and it was a 4.5/5 I just prefer a lighter shell. The drink service is quick and timely, and I never found myself waiting for anything. Great place to chomp! read more

If your traveling I-80 and looking for a nice little place to eat, and one that wont break your wallet, then stop in. It is a small cozy place with the absolute best mexican food you will ever eat in the state. It really not that well advertised, and wish they would do more to get there name out, because i tell everybody i can about them. I usually go to Denver once or twice a year and hit them going and coming. There frito pie is freak'n awesome. They have fresh chips and salsa daily. Buritos, chli renos, taco, it doesnt matter. Its all good. The staff is friendly and the ice tea is refreshing. I highly recommend if your driving through, stop in and see for your self read more

This place is a gem nestled quietly on a corner lot in small town Sinclair WY right off of I-80 all I can say is you can get your Mexican food "fix" right there. Besides the food being great, the place was really clean and the staff was extremely attentive. It's not very big so it's possible you could have a wait to be seated once in awhile, but it's not a dine in only, you can also order to go. read more

This place was Awesome! We needed some dinner for our family and thought we would find it a try. The food was really good! I had the Su Casa Taco was really good. The green sauce was spicy, but not overbearing. I would definitely go here again!! The restaurant was really nice inside and out, even the restrooms were clean and well maintained. read more

Amazing!!! We got the taco salad and the house burrito and both were so good, big portions, fair price, and great flavor. Will definitely try to come back! read more

Will NOT give out their WiFi password to lowly customers. Long lines, good food. Had a nice server! They are located right off I-80 but, as noted by other reviewers, some employees don't seem too pleased with travelers stopping in. All I can say is WOW. This food and the the people who work here deserve 5 stars. Don't miss it.

As Sinclair eateries go, its one of the finest. Its a good staple Mexican food ....I'm sure I will be back!

The best Mexican food I've ever had, hands down! Their green chili and salsa are so good. Every time I drive through Sinclair I have to stop here. They rebuilt the entire place a few years back and now it seats way more. There is often a line (especially if you come during lunch or dinner) but we'll worth the wait. And they keep it moving so you won't be waiting long at all. Be sure to get the sopapillas for dessert! read more

Great service, amazing food (this review is coming from a Californian and a Texan), great Covid-era service. In a town of under 500! Thank you Su Casa Cafe for feeding us on a 3000+ journey :) read more

Good food and clean place. Service was also good. We adapted some dishes without any issues and enjoyed some hot tea on this chilly day.

My husband grew up, worked, lived and went to college in Wyoming and he has talked about Su Casa as long as I can remember. Whenever his college buddies would come to visit us or we would visit them, they would talk about it together and recount all the delicious food they had. So, when we found ourselves driving through Wyoming on our honeymoon, Su Casa was a must-stop for a meal. Expectations were extremely high... We showed up for a late lunch and the service was spot-on for the entire visit. Our server was very friendly and fast with great suggestions. My husband got the Chili Relleno enchilada and I got the steak enchiladas, both of which were smothered in green chili. The food was good and I really like the steak they used for my enchilada. The serving sizes were extremely generous. My biggest complaint about the food here was that it seemed like they used cubed ham in their green chili. I didn't really like the texture or the flavor of that meat. The food was very heavy and didn't seem salty at the time but after we left I was extremely thirsty. I don't know what possessed us to get dessert here. The server must have pitched it really well but we ended up getting a deep fried cheesecake. It was also very heavy (go figure) but really decadent. I didn't like the blueberry sauce they put on it (it reminded me of pie filling) but everything else about it was well done. I'm glad I can cross that dessert off my list. I had always heard about deep fried cheesecake and had secretly wanted to try it for a long time. Now that I've had it I don't want it ever again. Their salsa was excellent! I almost wish that my enchilada was smothered in that instead of the green chili... read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. It has a pretty varied menu as well so you're not limited to just the standard dishes you would find at most other Mexican restaurants. The burgers here are also going to best most others offered in the area. I wasn't super impressed by the green chili though since I expect green chili to enflame my mouth and make make all my food exciting. Instead it was runny and lacked substance. I think the red chili is the way to go if you're here. read more

I wanted to give this place a 5-star, but they took my favorite item off their menu OR went to a different recipe. Let me explain, the first time I went here was clear back in the 90's. Maybe 95? Anyway, my friend's uncle worked at the oil refinery there so he ate there all the time and knew all the ladies who worked there. I tried a white/green chilli that had chicken in it that was the best white/green chilli (depending upon what name you call it) that I've ever had anywhere, including California where I used to live. So I got the chance to go back here last year. In fact, in true proper-foodie-spirit, we actually drove way OUT of our way to hit this place up. I'd daydreamed for years of that soup, but sadly, it was no longer on their menu. Who knows? Maybe it was just a special of the day. Regardless, I had their enchilladas, and they were wonderful. But I had hung my heart on having their soup again. I'm sad to hear they're moving into another building, as I loved the original place, although it was super small; it was very quaint. Sidenote: if you continue on down the street, there's a huge piazza and abandoned building that looks very old. I thought the old Spanish-style architecture (in the middle of nowhere Wyoming) was wild, like something from the set of a spaghetti-western. If you like old buildings, check it out. read more

We were on a road trip, looking for lunch in the middle of nowhere and pulled up Su Casa on Apple Maps restaurant search...if you are wanting something quick to eat on the road, would recommend calling ahead to order for pickup. We did this and when they said our order would take 20 mins, we were very glad we did...very popular little place, conveniently just off the freeway, large number of people waiting for takeout and lots of locals - always a good sign. Small dining area inside if you choose to eat in, restroom was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. For ease of eating in the car, we ordered tacos...steak and chicken. We got some soft corn and some hard corn shells...would definitely recommend the soft corn shell as the hard shell chicken tacos were a little dry (but still yummy). Ask for hot sauce if you like a little spice and ours came with chips/salsa, a nice surprise. Would definitely stop again and eat inside if passing through on another road trip! read more

I really didn't have a good experience here. The server didn't bother to write down our order and mine was completely wrong. She fixed it and then even after I told her no flour tortillas I get my corn taco wrapped in a flour tortilla. She said that's the way the beef and bean tacos are made, but after I already told her no flour, she could've mentioned it. Then the "red" enchilada sauce looked and tasted more like brown gravy. I could tell it was made primarily with... you guessed it, flour. I was only able to eat my taco (after it was fixed twice) and beans. The rice was saturated in the "red" sauce and the enchilada was, of course. We decided to be decent and leave the server a normal tip because she tried but the manager didn't bother to at least take the enchilada and rice that I couldn't eat off our bill. I hate leaving bad reviews but I won't be coming back here. The food was otherwise only okay and management didn't do customer service well at all. read more

Food to go today , of course was Amazing!! Monica is the best also !! Thank you for a great lunch..

If your hungry and have to eat this will do, because there is no place to eat for another 60 miles. Service was awesome the waitress was a crack up. Food was ok, but the locals love it, because it's all relative for Mexican its taco bell of this place. read more

The only thing mexican about this place is the decor. A frozen "mexican" dinner taste better. The tea was terrible, they don't even offer bottled water. We should have ran after trying the chips fried in old, black oil with the sub-par salsa. What's even more frightening is that we went based upon several recommendations. Maybe our expectations were too high? Either way, steer clear! read more
