Small selection on a Monday just after noon. Bought 2 pounds of chopped carne asada, al pastor and chicken. It tasted like the same marinade, all meat was chopped inconsistently, some good taco sized, some chunks like stew and others longer strips like fat bacon. Store was clean, and gentlemen who helped us was friendly. Seafood section was empty. Also bought a container of salsa. Out the door 2lbs pounds of carne asada, al pastor and chicken with salsa cup. $50. Parking was not great, very crowded complex. It's a small business tucked in the corner of a shopping center. The business has a decent selection of meats and also carries some produce, salsas and other products for grilling. I purchased the Arrachera carne asada and it was absolutely delicious! The marinade is tasty and the meat was tender. Omg! This place is fire!!!! Super delicious, juicy tender meats to grill at home. I tasted their samples at the 24Hour Fitness event next door. I couldn't stop eating it. I don't know what they are doing to make their meals so tender and flavorful but omg. Super on point. Came home and grilled the Al Pastor meat and made some bomb Al Pastor Tacos. Going to do the chicken I got tonight. Very friendly people and great customer service! They also tell tortillas, limes, lemons, (why is lime and lemon the same in Spanish lol) and drinks if you need those as well! And don't forget they have cilantro! The meat is way better than the typical Tik Tok or Instagram ad. These butchers and workers know how to cut and marinade their food! Everything is very tender, no matter the cook, well done or medium. Full of flavor and superior quality! Carne asadas have never been from anywhere else after I tried them. I switched over from La Carniceria .... This place has hospitality as well, the butchers offered me samples of other products when I picked up a fair amount of ranchera, costilla, and tasajo. Their salsas are prepackaged but they are delicious! I would definitely recommend the ranchera and ribs for any first timers. Poor customer service. I walked in and was not greeted. 2 workers walked away from behind the meat counter instead of helping me. One worker put a towel on the meat scale instead of greeting/helping me or making any eye contact, then he walked away without even saying "someone will be right with you". I had to wait several minutes before someone came back outside and helped. I was going to get a few more things but opted not to because of the bad customer service. I'm a short drive away in Chino Hills and I drive by a few different carnecerias to get this place. They have the very best red marinade I've had in a long time. So delicious!!! I always pick up some chicken breasts along with their a few pounds of premium rancher. Last time I was there I decided to try some of their steak jalapeño patties and damn they were so delicious. Came here for the first time today 7/4 at around 1pm. Wasn't too packed, very clean & we were greeted right away. Staff was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. Food and guacamole were amazing. Prices are reasonable & compare to other places around where we would normally purchase.
