Unfortunately, this experience may have been my last visit. We were seated in the private room, and the experience was honestly disappointing. One of the burners was malfunctioning, which made cooking our food take forever. On top of that, the exhaust vents weren't working properly, so the room became very smoky. The floors were also extremely slippery. We had to help our 74-year-old mom walk around to make sure she didn't slip and fall. At one point, the staff left us unattended for quite a while while our grills were smoking heavily and almost caught fire. That was especially concerning and made us feel unsafe. The food itself was good, and the price is definitely reasonable, but the overall experience needs improvement. Wang Cho has the potential to be a great spot, but if issues like these continue, they risk losing loyal customers. I really hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes some improvements.

I have been to this location before but this is not the location that is nearest my house. Today I had the BLT Wedge salad and it was so good. I really enjoyed it. I have a few favorites like the Burnt Ends, The Cracked Out Deviled Eggs [with cracklings as a garnish, oh yeah] and I have been wanting to try the 2 pcs. Bone-In Fried Chicken. For my drinks, it's on their Standards HH drink menu: Jameson and Gingeraie; hold the Gingerale:) I like their Old Fashion too but Jameson is my drink. I used to like their Red Ale. I heard the new one is good too but I like my Jameson, so it's safe. Oh, did i NOT mention the biscuits with apple butter. So good. When my wife and I have had dinner here, we typically have ordered the Pick 2 Combo. She always gets Tri Tip [small $$ adder] and i switch between the sausage and the St Louis Ribs. Always is enough but you can add a third items for $10. It always goes home :( The service was great at the bar, as usual. This location always has open spots at the bar. Not the case in my local Lucilles.

Shout out to our awesome server Ryan, customer service "10+" ... restaurants need more Ryan's like you. We had the Easy Feast and it was enough for the four of us... and then some to take home. The food was cooked to our liking.. love it! Our friends are Chino Hills residents for over 20 years and since I do like Lucille's grabs (we go to the Montebello and West Covina) time to step in the Chino Hills. Lucille's BbQ, you did not fail me. The place is clean, moderate noise but tonight deserves a celebration since USA Soccer team won and family celebrations everywhere. Definitely a come back place and a great contribution to the community. Price was right especially the economy happening in our country.

But the bbq chicken and bbq beef were right on the money. I did have a problem paying $24 for one combo and one drink, as even with these three items, I was still expecting the meal to not be more than $20 total. That will be the main reason I probably won't return. The service was good. It was quick and friendly. And the ambiance was alright too as everything was clean, efficient, and not distracting. I just agree with the statement earlier that there are better rice bowl, hawaiian, and/or teriyaki food joints in the area at either a much better quality or better pricing. This seems to find that line where what you get, though good, is a bit over-priced for what you get and there is no recourse to get something smaller because then you will be over-paying and still hungry. I'd almost give this place a 4 though because I did enjoy the meal quality-wise.
