I read these reviews from the various types of folk who are clients of braiders and wonder? These women are artists and if you come to them correctly, with washed and conditioned undamaged hair and a good attitude, there shouldn't be any issues; but some of y'all are expecting these women to work magic on your heads when you come to them with messed up hearts and spirits. I want you wailers and complaining types, some of y'all are nothing but hypes and trying to get services for free, to think about the abuse to their bodies these women undertake to work miracles on some of y'all's head. Be honest, where can any of us get level of high quality hair art these sisters are working so cheaply?! Kay does a wonderful job. If you want hair art I fully recommend her.

Yes I am allowed to have a true opinion. I have gotten my hair braids thousands of time before and have yet to experience such halfish service. I got there and she was working on someone else's hair which left me to wait for 1 hour which was 60 minutes after our agreed appointment. She left while servicing me leaving me alone jn the chair waiting on her. She left my braids dripping wet where my shirt was soaked and it was winter time she didn't even bother to dry off my hair.

Service is good most of the time, usually get dip manicures (now $45) and gel pedicures (also $45)…read more The techs are the reason why I have been going there since 2018 or so... but ownership changed, and slowly, so has the vibe. As of 2024, these have gone up more than $10 since the Covid pandemic, and lately Zoe has implemented these really annoying nickel and diming charges for basic things like takeoff of dip and a polygel patch for a toe with a chip in it at $5 a pop. Moreover its very irritating to not have my appointment times kept, while they hound you with reminder texts and lecture you being a few minutes late when it's obvious they took a walk-in who has been there awhile, and hasn't had their color done yet when you arrive for your appointment 5 to 15m early. Ended up waiting 45m while someone else started the takeoff and pedicure, it really is touch n go, and some of the techs do half ass work or have a less than stellar attitude. The second time this happened, I asked loudly why I bother making appointments, especially when I had been reassured this was not going to happen again when I made this one. Of course it did... Im also tired of being asked if I have the day off. Why so concerned about my schedule? Final straw and really rethinking my patronage. There are still a few places that do dip manicures for $45, I'll go to a $55, but that's no tip, same as I give here... I'm kinda over it
