I worked with Jenny during the summer, while 6 months pregnant and needed to refresh my wardrobe with work & weekend wear that could grow with my belly. Not only was jenny able to source me the best capsule wardrobe, but she did it effeciently, thoughtfully, and nailed the maternity component without stocking my closet full of 1x use maternity clothes. Jenny goes above and beyond other stylists I have worked with. This ranges from having all the clothes beautifully packaged and steamed for try on to showing up with a variety of options and thoughtfulness behind the options. I walked away with a 50% hit ratio from Jenny's suggestions and now waking up and getting dressed everyday is a joy and not a chore. I feel put together, fashionable without being too trendy, comfortable, and a true version of myself. Jenny sources pieces across the price spectrum and does not push items onto her clients -- she is the first to say "oh. you have something similar, let's skip this" or she is also the one to say "this is how you style of work, the weekend, and date night " all with the same pieces. This is one of the best investments I have made in myself in a long time. It saved me hours upon hours of trying to shop online and returning items that didn't fit and it has shaved off time in the morning for me while getting ready. I cannot recommend Jenny enough -- it's such a wonderful investment and I cannot wait to work with. her again!

I consider myself to be a pretty good dresser but too often I buy something for the wrong reason and never wear it. Or I can't figure out what to wear between working out a dressing up. It was a splurge and a treat to hire a stylist but I'm very glad I did. I had her start by helping me edit my wardrobe. In the process she used her very light touch to rid me of things that were no longer in style and began teaching me what worked best for my lifestyle and body type. I feel like I got so much out of just this first appointment. The information she left me with has already influenced my shopping choices. If you're in the market for a stylist, Jenny's a great choice.

I'd always said I'd do it someday, as I kept dressing in whatever had survived since college. I'm a 35-year-old professional; I needed to level up! I hired Nejla for a closet cleanse, four hours of shopping, and a look book shoot so I could remember how to put everything together. One thing I was dreading was the six hours of hanging out with a stranger, making small talk. I should not have worried! She's so personable and easy to talk to. Nejla is very budget conscious and got my comfort level/budget up front. When I mean a new wardrobe--we bought everything from shoes to rompers. It was worth every penny, but more than that I so appreciated Nejla's approach. She talked me through the whys of what she was selecting and left me feeling super empowered too. Even our salesperson at Nordstrom was like a buddy by the end of our trip (4 hours flew by, which I couldn't believe!). Do it, you won't regret it!!

I became even more fashionably lost during the pandemic -- after all, like many people I spent 2 years working from home and wearing nothing but leggings. I landed my dream role working at a fashion magazine last summer, and I wanted to walk in feeling confident in what I wore. Nejla absolutely came to my rescue. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little hesitant at first, but Nejla was professional, and quite frankly calming from day one. Her method is well thought out and really works. We got rid of dozens of pieces during my closet clean out that no longer served me, and during the shopping process she not only leaned into clothes that I was drawn to, but also got me out of my comfort zone. She had me try on pieces that I never would've imagined wearing (this is where you really have to trust the process), and now some of those items are staples for me. I've always hated shopping -- and i know a lot of people can relate -- but she makes it an incredibly fun experience, and the four hours FLEW. My favorite part, though? Putting together the lookbook. After our shopping spree she put together 60 (!) outfits and curated them in a shared photo album so I can go back and find inspiration when I need it. Okay I lied -- my favorite (and the most invaluable) part of the whole experience is the confidence I gained in myself. I never received compliments on my outfits in the past and felt a little mismatched. Since working with Nejla I now walk into any room feeling like a million bucks, whether i'm at the office, on a date, or just hanging out with friends. And without fail, I get compliments on almost every single outfit. Nejla helped me become more like myself in a way that I never thought was possible. For that I am forever grateful.

This was a fantastic experience…read more When I was younger I used to love clothes--I mean searched-for-the-clothes-boxes-instead-of the-toy-boxes-under-the-Christmas-tree loved clothes as early as age 3 (there is video evidence). Then life, graduate school and years of post graduate school in a sector that doesn't value style happened. I had ended up with a packed closet that was more of a time capsule storage unit than functional space, leaving me with mountains of things and still feeling like I had nothing to wear because the vast majority of it fit but was 10 years old. I had tried to clean it out 2 dozen times and just gotten overwhelmed and put everything back in. I also never felt like I could justify getting rid of anything because "there was nothing wrong with it" or buying anything because "I had a closet full of clothes" and therefore didn't need it. Cassandra and Lucia totally got where I was coming from and went through an extensive closet edit with me. They were very patient with my overwhelm and numerous questions; I really wanted to learn the why behind things and understand how things were coming together and what I really needed in my wardrobe to nail the style we put together with my Pinterest board. A lot of what I like is on chic end, but that feeling needed to be translated to everyday and wear-to-clinic attire, and I think we got there. The process for me ended up being more than just a style alignment; it was also a mindset shift with Lucia as my style therapist. I was able to move away from a utility only mindset--that I needed to keep things that were no longer aligned with my current phase of life and not buy anything I didn't need--and reframe to seeing my wardrobe as an investment in myself and that having a higher quality item that you truly love and that brings you joy is reason in itself. Getting dressed is an essential part of the day, and it's now a bright spot in mine. I enjoy walking into my closet. When I packed for my last trip, there was no panic shopping involved. I felt put together every day for 3 weeks and only had a carry-on. 3 people in Greece told me I did not look American because I was dressed elegantly. I enjoy the wardrobe results, but the learning behind everything and changed perspective is the real prize. If you want to makeover your mindset and your closet, go for it!

I described my work attire as "Banana Republic sales rack" and my weekend look as frumpy. Ella gently helped me edit my closet. She calls it a Wardrobe Renovation. Two hours and a large pile of castoffs later, I understood that I've been buying my shirts and too large and my bottoms were not the right cut for my figure. And of course, there were my sentimental favorites which didn't fit, but just took up space in the closet. Ella gracefully helped me to prune out a lot of junk to make room for new looks. A week later we met for shopping. She went pre-shopping two hours ahead of me, which was fantastic. By the time I met up with her she had a stack of things for me to try on, all in completely full looks. It saved me hours, and I ended up with a ton of new clothes. One of the most surprising and impressive things about Ella was her sensitivity to my budget. Other stylists I had talked to were all about spending a fortune on designer names, but Ella found me some incredible deals. Yes, I bought some quality pieces, but I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn't want. I found her to be professional, smart, and compassionate. She was super clear about our plan, she always explained why one look worked better than another....it wasn't just some random opinion... and she never made me feel judged. It was a great experience and I have gotten so many compliments! I'm looking forward to working with her again in the Spring.
