My final appointment I tried to make with her was to get roots fixed that she has been supposed to fix for MONTHS now so that I could take Christmas pictures with my son who is almost grown- I don't even know if we will be able to take pictures next Christmas. This meant nothing to her. She pulled yet another no-call, no-show on me days before Christmas (was too late to get in anywhere else) and hasn't called back since. She's lucky I didn't sue in the first place- my first appointment she started with her irresponsible, lackadaisical behavior and had me keep my appointment with a barber (appt was with her originally) who in no way knew how to dye hair. This man thinned out half of my head, burnt a bunch of my hair off. All because she put us both in a bad position. He should've never even attempted what he did with my hair, shame on them both for not knowing better. Did I mention the color of my hair was 6 different shades of orange/off-blonde, with patches of black throughout (my natural color is close to black/very dark brown)?? Not cute or finished or a professional color job, whatsoever. He STILL charged me. This owner hasn't even contacted me to apologize after this last "cancellation." I don't consider it that, this is the 3rd time at least she has stood me up completely with zero notice, zero compassion for me and my day. I worked the night shift and live across town, I had an appointment with her at 9am after working til 3:00am. I also had to work that night, on pretty much no sleep that was lost FOR NO REASON. I explained what I wanted the best I could and expected her to use her expertise to give me a good haircut. She ignored pretty much everything I asked and then seemed to want to make me feel guilty or bad about getting multiple haircuts when she hadn't finished the first one. Her behavior became more and more abusive. It's abusive to blatantly ignore what people say they want while pretending to do a good job while doing completely substandard work. I tried to just focus on what I needed. It seemed like she wanted to trigger me to walk out. When I asked her to just make it cohesive and make the layers make sense, she wanted to make me responsible by having me direct her what to cut. She said she was trying to combine my cuts. I didn't ask her to do that. I just told her pretty straightforwardly what I wanted and then she was basically engaging in crazy making word games about what was weight and what was length. Then, unsurprisingly your other employees, came to her defense when she refused to finish my haircut. It would've been nice to walk out of your salon having had my hair washed and styled but instead I just have a partial bad cut. She only refused to finish it after I said was not gonna come back the next day for another haircut. She seemed to have some other agenda of wasting my time when I just wanted to come in and get a haircut. I have seen this technique used when businesses want to single people out to deny them service and make them responsible. The sequence is not listen, trigger, engage in crazy making behavior where they pretend they're not totally obviously not listening and doing their job, try to make the victim responsible, and then deny service if all else fails and blame the person.
