A group of us came on a whim at 11pm on a Saturday night and had no problem getting right in. We didn't realize it was BYOB but were told there was a liquor store just around the corner and they provided a discount coupon for it :) It was defiantly more challenging than I anticipated but all of the staff were super helpful and patient. I look foreword to returning again.

This spot is open during covid and take extreme precautions by sanitizing everything between players/groups. I have been ace throwing at many different places but no place treats me more like family than Stumpy's. I've been here several times since it isn't too far from where I live. It is BYOB and BYOFood!!! The instructors are nice, and check in on you to make sure everyone is okay and having fun. They used to have some more non axe related mini games placed through the facility that I hope they bring back once the pandemic is over!

My second time going axe throwing, but my first time coming here. My friend and I came here on Friday for a girl's night out and had such a great time. The staff was very friendly and chill which made the experience even better. At the end we were even able to test out these new, lightweight hawkeye axes that they had just gotten in. They don't serve alcohol here, but you are able to bring your own beer and wine, but they do charge for buckets of ice. The setup is very nice with two boards in each section so that we could throw our axes at the same time. Each area also had a couch or chairs and tables. They have touch tunes that you can use to choose a song, but you do have to pay for it, so we opted to just listen to the music that was already playing. I only wish that the A/C would have been on more as it got pretty hot inside while axe throwing. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

This was awesome!!! I can't believe how much fun I had. Be prepared to feel like you just left the gym, lol. Staff was great and it was so fun. Can't wait to go back.

Had fun but really needs food and beverage with easy access. Blah blah blah Large space but seems way underutilized.

Not only did he keep the energy high with great vibes and a friendly attitude, but he also made sure everyone was safe and accounted for throughout the float. We noticed him picking up trash along the way. So awesome to see someone taking care of the river and setting a great example. He really cared about both the people and the environment. The 2017 youth soccer rec program was a complete disaster. The person running soccer was…read morenon-responsive (to phone calls and emails) and not at all prepared for the season's start. Coaches got player lists the day before the season began and were asked to make the rosters and schedules (not a problem if it wasn't done at the eleventh hour). Uniforms were not provided until a few weeks into the season. I use the term "uniforms" loosely though. In other area programs, players will get a jersey, matching shorts, and socks. In this program, the players received only a plain colored tee shirt with Towsontown Rec on the front, no number on the back. I thought this was pretty poor, especially knowing what kids in other programs get. On top of that, some teams did not receive their tee shirts so they had to provide them for themselves (we were later reimbursed for this by the program though after I pressed the issue with anyone who would listen). This just further speaks to the lack of organization in this program. Some leagues (age groups) did not even get off the ground this season because there were not enough coaches. Since everything was started so late, there was no time to go out and find more volunteers to step in. These players registered in time and simply didn't get to play this season because TTR couldn't get themselves together in time to give the kids the opportunity to play. Unfortunately, since it all collapsed in the days before the season was to begin, those players weren't able to register to play in a other programs. Play was below the appropriate level for the league I coached in, my son played in a more competitive, talented league last year as a U7 in Towson Rec than he did this year in U8 with Towsontown Rec. There was no standard of play. Some teams used goalies, others didn't. Field sizes varied from game to game. The age group for U8 was much too wide. At the season's start, I had players on my team who were 5.5 years old and others who were over 7.5 years old. It made it difficult for the older kids to get much out of the season since a lot of the other players were so young and unskilled. This was definitely a detriment to the better players in the league, they weren't challenged in a way that helped them improve their skills. Register your children in another program, if at all possible. The organization and level of play in the TTR program is poor. The program is also much smaller than other area programs like LTRC or TRC and after a season like 2017, it'll only get smaller because I can't imagine many people dealing with that then returning in 2018. Maybe things are better in their travel program but rec soccer was run terribly in 2017.

This is my first and last year having any involvement with Towsontowne Youth Soccer. I assumed…read moreTowsontowne Soccer was similar to LTRC Soccer. Boy was I wrong. The commissioner is very attentive until you sign up, then he is unreachable. I kept inquiring why I hadn't heard anything about my twins team. I then receive an email thanking me for coaching, and directions to pick up the uniforms. I received a 9 person team in a 7v7 league. I managed to get another player to sign up, and list she wants to play on my team. I can't even get the commissioner to acknowledge this new player is on my team. I have 3 girls that don't have uniforms that fit, yet the commissioner has not responded to my many emails and phone calls. I know other teams have uniform issues.I know the commissioner is a volunteer, but once you've lost your passion to the point you don't even care if the little girls have uniforms they can wear, it is time for you to look for a new passion. I have heard nothing but complaints from the parents on my team. The complaints are about the uniforms, and the unresponsive ness of Towsontowne's soccer program.
