If I could give 0 stars to this pool, I would. The actual facility is great, very nice pool, however, the staff and their ridiculous long list of rules are terrible.
They have a rule that any kid taller than 3'9" cannot swim in the baby pool, which is where the splash pod is and is 2.5 feet deep at the deepest, with a beach walk in at the other end. And child under 3'9" is not allowed inside the gate for the regular pool. So my 5 year old nephew, who cannot swim and is 3'10" tall and my 4 year old daughter, who is 3" tall, not only cannot swim together in the same pool, but also cannot even both stay with me, as the only adult. After we paid and came into the pool, the woman from the front desk came and told me that my nephew could sit on the steps but that I needed to call someone else to come for him.
Their rules are handwritten on a chalkboard inside the pool house and I could not find them posted anywhere online. It literally says at the bottom "bring enough adults, you may not be able to swim together". Important information for families with mixed ages.
Their posted free swim times for today are 4-7pm. I called before coming and was told the free swim for today is 3-5pm. We arrived at 3:15 and were not told anything about the times when we paid. The lifeguards blew their whistles at 4:12 and called for everyone to get out of the pool. I asked why and was told the session was over and we had to exit the pool but could pay again to do the next session. I said that I thought the session was over at 5, that that's what I was told when I called. He shrugged and said, no it's over at 4:30 today but we get everyone out 15 min before the end and that times change every day.
Fortunately, it's cheap but $2 a piece for less than an hour of swimming when my nephew had to sit on the side of the pool the whole time is a bit ridiculous. read more
