Was in the area so decided to pop by. It's a drive thru only place, no indoor seating, so we waited in the car for our food. I got the kid size burger which was still filling! They fried the burger well and the burger itself had a kick with the sauce. I inhaled the burger lol Banana pudding was creamy and had bananas in it. Overall well worth the wait!

Worst picture ever but such a delicious burger. This is the mini belly double meat.

I've gotten take out from here twice this past week and it's been consistently good. This is seriously the best smash burger in town. Moved back from a city that was huge on smash burgers and this is it. All the speciality soda combos are perfectly made too. I got the tuna salad sandwich today on toasted bread and it was fantastic.

Growing up I was a picky ish eater. That being said, I've never been a fan of burgers, that is until I tried one overseas. That one bacon cheeseburger changed my tune. Returning to the states, I strived to find a comparable burger, a quest that became more difficult after giving up pork. The smash burger filled that void, but not just any smash burger. I've found four suitable options in the greater Houston area, Stuffed Belly claims one of those spots. The burgers are always simple and delicious. They carry Pudgys cookies, Starry, and unique craveable beverage combinations. If you're looking for a calorie dense, comforting meal, this spot is certainly for you.

The "burger"

The party trait was even enough for 5 people, the burgers weren't even a burgers at all. The burgers only had the buns no meat or nothing. I would not recommend to go there, because I drove an hour for what, to get a "burger".

I really liked this place! I had the mini burger ($6), which has one smashburger patty, sauce, onions, cheese, and pickles. The patty was browned well and there was plentiful cheese--it could have definitely used more pickles though. My boyfriend had the belly burger ($10) after questioning my order of a mini burger, but he couldn't even finish it. The size difference was significant. But we both agreed they were good burgers. We also had an order of tots and the blackberry lemonade. I love tots and found these could have been hotter and crispier. The blackberry lemonade had a nice sweetness and big blackberry chunks. It looks like more of a to-go place because it's fairly small, so the drive thru was convenient. Overall, a tasty meal. I'd come back!

I guess I'm an anomaly because trying Stuffed Belly, the fast casual sister to The Blind Goat, is probably not what most people do. Blind Goat is obviously the more lauded and hyped Christine Ha establishment. I plan to visit The Blind Goat soon, but just wanted a quick bite to eat after a post-thrifting excursion on Long Point. Having received an email about Stuffed Belly serving Sloppy Joes, I really wanted to try one. Their promotion makes reference to King of The Hill, which is funny to me. Bobby Hill said something along the lines of "My Sloppy Joe was all sloppy and no Joe." For those who visit Stuffed Belly, there is seating outside and limited seating inside. We just ate in the car, and here's a numerical breakdown:: 1. Orange Creamsicle (4/5): It was more of an orange soda with a minimal amount of cream. 2. Sloppy Joe (4/5): It should have been warmer. The slice of cheese hadn't melted. It had a standard Sloppy Joe flavor like what you would get at home. No umami or updated twist. 3. Tater tots (3/5): A bit overdone and not warm enough in my opinion. I agree with other folks that they should serve fries--or my fave, onion rings. 4. Pudgy's Chocolate Chip Cookie (5/5): I only tried a small piece, but this cookie is so delicious! The cashier at drive thru forgot to put it in the bag at first but we were able to pick it up inside. Overall, 4/5. I like this place and would go back to try other items.

This burger stand by Masterchef Christina Ha is pretty good. The patty melt is incredible but not if you're watching what you eat. The burgers are simple but delicious. You can't skip the tator tots. The ketchup is kind of lame though. The Humpty Dumpty Egg'wich is okay. I love eggs, and this wasn't memorable for me. The Tuna Crunch is okay, and I liked the surprise of the crunched potato chips. Seating is very limited to low bar seats and one large patio table. Food comes out pretty fast but they might take a while to take your order. It might seem like they don't value you as a customer, but it's probably to keep the kitchen orders steady. Overall, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here but find the food tasty.

As someone who watches way too much MASTERCHEF, I was hype when I found out Christine Ha opened a new spot in my neck of the woods called Stuffed Belly! Of course, I had to tap in! I rolled through the drive-thru and ordered the Belly Burger but I had to triple that thang one time. (it's a smash burger with cheese) pickles, caramelized onions and their special sauce on a potato bun. Now, I'm not usually into smashburgers, but this one changed my mind (sort of)c The caramelized onions? First time I've had them done right on a smash burger and they elevated the whole thing which I wasn't expecting! Everything about this burger was right. Got it with tater tots that were perfectly crisp and tried out three sauces: their signature, the Sichuan mayo, and BBQ. All were solid that completed the meal. I also grabbed the blackberry lemonade, which sounded amazing, but it didn't really hit for me. There were real blueberries in it, just that simple syrup was not it. Just being honest. Only semi drawback is that they're a little on the pricey side, but you pay for the quality. Shoutout to Kevin at the drive-thru super friendly, great energy, and made the whole experience smooth. Stuffed Belly is doing something different, and it works imo. Great flavors, great service. Burger fans of all types should slide through fasho!

Watching master chef is the number one reason I came. The fact that they have pudgys cookies is number 2 Staff is so unbelievably nice. If you eat Keto they have options for you. Mini is $6 for a fresh made burger patty is really reasonable in my opinion. Thin smashed burger, had that bit of crust on one side to add to the texture in between potato bun with their special sauce. Over all a good bite Dirty Dr Pepper - it was like a Dr Pepper float Humpty Dumpty was over stuffed they are definitely generous The strawberry lemonade a little too sweet. It could use more sour and maybe a hit if carbonation. If you are planning on sitting inside there is a small bar area with 6 stools. So if those are taken make sure you have an alternative plan

If there is one thing you need to get its the loaded tots. Absolutely incredible, full of flavor and they load them up. I will say they are a bit pricey ($9) and definitely not shareable but worth it. Both my husband and I got burgers because we were generally curious how they match up to other burger chains. We definitely felt like the burgers are elevated and more flavorful but we both do not know if it's worth the price. We spent a total of $35 for two burgers and a small thing of loaded tots. Also, I would recommend grabbing this to go as the restaurant is small and there is not a ton of seating. I think they meant for it to be more of a to go restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. We both agreed we would go back but I would try something else to get the full experience!

I've been to Stuffed Belly a couple times now. Since my office is not too far, I try to look up new places to eat for lunch and bring my fellow co-managers. Plus, we've dined at Jinya and Barnaby's which shares the same lot. There are many other restaurants and plenty of parking. It can get busy at times. The place is small with a couple counter seats inside overlooking the parking lot and restaurants instead of Long Point Rd. because the drive thru window is there. There's usually only 1-2 staff members working, but they are friendly. We sat at the picnic table a couple times, and my food was brought out to me. The menu has unique burger options, and I like that they have egg salad sandwiches. I have yet to try those here. They occasionally have specialty burgers. Some created by Top Chefs so that part usually changes. There's also keto friendly options if you are restricting carbs. The kid's burger is literally the same size as the Belly burger but with one smashed patty. It's topped with cheese, pickles and ketchup. It kind of reminds me of Whataburger. The triple cheese please is served on Texas toast with lots of gooey, melted cheese and tomato confit. It can be greasy but good. The tots are plentiful in such a tiny bag. It's usually overflowing. They're crispy and served hot. Everything is made to order. I dropped my business card, so maybe I'll get free mini sliders and tots for the office. Check them out via the drive thru, dine in if the seats aren't full or sit out on their picnic table on the mini patio!

Maureen took my order. It was a little fast paced for a first timer here. Maureen wasn't necessarily rude but she wasn't friendly. Neither of the employees were super knowledgeable- for example, they didn't know what flavor cookies they had. And the cookies don't have labels so it's just a guess. I asked for the PB chocolate cookie based off of Yelp and I ended up with just a plain chocolate chip cookie. Also, I found out they don't have the Vietnamese iced coffee anymore just fyi in case you looked at older menus on Yelp. As for what I tried: Sichuan Hot Chicken: 3.5/5 so my chicken consisted of two pieces rather than one big piece. One piece was excellent and would have been a 5/5. The other piece was more like a 2/5- thin, had a lot of gristle, and was more breading in places than chicken. I asked for the Sichuan mayo on the side because I am not a mayo fan, but the mayo doesn't have a strong mayo flavor, it's really good, kinda spicy, and I think the chicken sandwich sort of relies on that sauce to help flavor it and make it special. The potato bun was great, I love that it didn't get soggy at all. An added bonus, the sandwich was not greasy at all. Strawberry Cream Soda: 5/5 delicious. You do have to keep stirring it to get the strawberries to mix in, but it was fantastic and refreshing. Not overly sweet. It was a nice treat. Dirty Dr. Pepper: 3/5 it was fine but nothing really special. Just tasted like a Dr Pepper with vanilla icecream in it. For the amount, it wasn't worth the price. Chocolate chunk cookie: 3/5 it doesn't help that I was expecting peanut butter but the cookie is good. It's just not great. It's super thick and heavy. VERY dense. I think I'd rather eat 3 cookies than one mega cookie, which is what this felt like eating. My son got the Belly Burger. I can't try it because of an allergy but he said it was just okay. Nothing special and lacked seasoning. Overall, I would get the chicken sandwich and the strawberry cream soda again. But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Ran across this place on a whem after being at the baseball field all day. Since im from New Orleans, im always looking for a good fish sandwich short of making my own, but I was also in the mood for a smashburger. Wish I would have gotten his name, but the guy on the register talked the fish sandwich up and pardon the pun, "I was hooked" great choice, I wasn't disappointed, sandwich was fresh, hot, the seasoning was on point and not overpowering, great balance and crunch from the coleslaw, and pickles were good too. I didn't add any extra condiments, just as is. You won't go wrong. I will be back for the smashburger soon enough for another review.

I had opted for a beef burger with a side of chili cheese tater tots to share. The burger is quite large and filled generously with whatever add-ins you check off so it was very filling for me. I went with two 2oz patties, but considering the size, I'd opt for a single 2 oz patty if I go back. For my burger I also added scallion aioli which didn't have a strong green onion flavor but was still nice and added creaminess to the burger overall. The tater tots were super crispy, and the chili cheese topping was nice. I had gone shortly after they opened and it wasn't super busy but it started to quickly fill up around 11:30-12. The basic burger is $12, and anything you want to add or replace is extra. Now that's including the basic sauce, which I thought would be an additional homemade sauce if I needed. Again, I am learning. I ordered grilled chicken, but at the counter, a very nice person, Eric, told me they were out of grilled chicken and had fried chicken available. I guess so, since I spend some time. I don't want to wait any longer. I also ordered homemade lemonade, which came with lots of ice. I requested that some ice be removed. I also added chard jalapenos, which were tasteless and slightly burned, so they lost their flavor. The food pick-up area was separate, and the guy who gave you a food tray could have been friendlier and said thank you. Oh well, my burger was a piece of chicken with lettuce and onion. It was ok but very dry inside. So make sure you order sauce or anything for your burger, and pay for it. When I got there, the dining hall was empty. I like this place, but plz if you're going there for the first time, read the menu carefully and place your order. Service could be friendlier, and the dining hall was clean.

I went with the Double Good Burger at Johnny Good Burger, and honestly... it was surprisingly good. Perfectly smashed patties with those crispy edges, juicy inside, and well-balanced flavors that didn't feel overcomplicated. Sometimes simple just works--and this definitely did. The fries deserve their own shoutout: extra crispy, hot, and downright addictive. No soggy sadness here. I kept telling myself "just one more" until the tray was mysteriously empty. All in all, a very satisfying burger experience. If you're in the mood for a legit smash burger and happen to be wandering POST Houston, this one's absolutely worth stopping for.

There were no other customers at the time, but that's to be expected for a slow Monday. The menu is quite simple with just 4 different entrees, 3 different ways to order fries, and a few soft drink options in a cold case. Everything here is a la carte but there is a combo option where you can save about $3 off the regular menu pricing. I chose the "Double Good" and added a patty for $3 more figuring the patties are most likely very thin. The burger comes with lettuce, onion tomato, pickles and special sauce. I subbed the American for Swiss, but the Swiss ended up being a Swiss-American blend, so it tasted mostly like American cheese which I hate. I keep having bad luck with Swiss lately. The patty is about 1/4 lb and tastes similar to a home cooked burger. I ended up setting the burger down and just eating the patty with a fork since I didn't like the taste of the cheese, sauce, or the entire burger as a whole after a handful of bites. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it but this is not a burger I would come back for, especially at this price point.

Clutch City Grill sits next to Burger Chan (the most recent title holder of best burger for my son) but this Sunday, they were not open so we tried the one we didn't try last time--CCG. And let me just say that this place tucked away inside a collective indoor food concession aka The Conservatory Galleria, has every right to boldly don the clutch city burger title. Inside this perfectly grilled almost Hawaiian role type hint of sweet homemade bun is a masterclass of burger perfection, made right in front of you and to your liking based on your selections from the order tap screens. While, waiting, I looked at everything I didn't order as it was being served and I'm almost certain that anything you order at CCG is delicious. Presentation is superb because others were sitting with large selections in front of them that caused me a bit of buyers remorse--I couldn't decide. The vibe is chill enough to talk to the grill master while my son was figuring out his massive burger order--he randomly had a hash brown added to a patty melt. And ordered something to take home or in case one order wasn't enough for the teen appetite. But the food is massive. I cannot stress that enough. Portions of everything there are beyond generous from what we saw and this is the kind of place where there's delivery guys picking up, people working on their laptops and the average joe grabbing takeout after work as well as families having dinner but not crowded. We sat and reflected on a great shopping day in a chill environment and reminisced on the old days of Galleria area last minute back to school night before/we should do this more type of memories in the making. The take something to go plus my own leftover (cutting the burger in half is an open from the order touch screen) and it passed the ultimate test of being really good cold the next day.
