the food here was solid but I was expecting a more elevated experience from Christine Ha's endeavors after loving Xin Chao (though she has now separated to focus on Stuffed Belly and Blind Goat). The egg salad sandwich was generous and filling for the price with tasty bread but everything was just soft - it could've used more texture overall and was a great egg salad, just nothing particularly inspired or different. The Belly Burger was also similar - a solid thin smash burger, but nothing exceptional or standout. We were excited about the blackberry lemonade because it was a "homemade blackberry syrup with lemonade" but we realized on closer inspection that the lemonade itself is just Tropicana. The tots were crispy and tasty and everything was filling and affordable. The service was efficient and quick - our food came out almost instantaneously which was perfect since we were hungry then left very full. This spot has ample parking and a drive through with only a few spots at the counter overlooking the rest of the strip mall to eat. Overall, the vibe is mostly a place you grab your food and eat quickly. They also have Pudgy's cookies! I would be interested in trying their Sichuan chicken. Definitely a grab and go type restaurant but totally worth a visit! The place is pretty small fits 5 people inside seating and it gives off the fast food restaurant vibe. The menu has a few options to pick from, I personally has the Belly Melt and tots. The melt was delicious but the bread was a bit too oily/buttery and by the time I got to the car to eat the sandwich bread was soggy for some reason. The flavor definitely made up for The sogginess and oily bread. The tots, not impressed they tasted a bit stale and lukewarm. I was so excited when Christine Ha announced this new concept since there aren't many shops focused on sandwiches. When my friend and I went we were so surprised that there was no line at the drive through and there was seating though it was limited. We got our orders extremely quickly and was able to enjoy our lunch right away. Disclaimer: We went two weeks after the soft opening so I am rounding my rating to a 4 even though it's a 3.5 star. However, I'll be sure to come back and adjust the stars if need be. Food: My friend and I really wanted to try the egg sandwich and the belly burger so we decided to get the little belly and share the egg sandwich! Little Belly Burger: 4 This burger was like an elevated Jack in the box ultimate cheese burger,since the ingredients are similar, but with only one patty. However, what made it better then the ultimate cheeseburger is that I didn't feel heavy afterwards since the ingredients are higher quality and there is less fillers. Plus I loved the taste of the patty since it was cooked really well. This meal also comes with a drink and a choice of tots or chips which is why I think this is a good deal if you're ok with a single patty. Since it is pretty filling and you get all the components of a traditional meal. The meat was a bit smaller then the bun which wasn't an issue for me since I like a higher bread to meat ratio. I'll definitely grab this again but it makes me excited to try the actual belly burger Humpty Dumpty Egg'wich: 3 I was so excited for this sandwich but it started off on the wrong foot for me since the egg salad was flowing out of the sandwich. I think what happened was that too much lemon was used and maybe some items weren't drained well enough which left the salad a bit more liquidy. This is my assumption since I didn't taste alot of mustard and the salad was a bit on the mushy side. I also wish that it was cut in half since that's how most egg sandwiches are made and it makes it easier to share. However, it tasted okay which is why I'm giving it a 3. Service: Good but The staff were super sweet which is why I'm just describing the encounter instead of rating it. During the visit, I would constantly hear them apologize because they made a mistake with the order. So, the reason for the higher rating is because it's still the soft opening phase and I think the issues were caused by the staff still being trained. For example, when I asked what the difference was between the Little Belly Burger and the normal Belly Burger the cashier said that the Little Belly Burger only has one patty but they're the same (I assumed stuffed sauce was the mayo/ketchup). However, in actuality the Belly Burger also has caramelized onions which could make the two sandwiches taste distinctly different. So this is partially my fault for not reading, I was still alittle fatigue from my morning run, but I would expect the cashier to know the menu to give recommendations to the customer. Other examples was that for two customers the staff forgot to give them their tater tot's. I also found it weird that when I asked the staff for a disposable knife to cut the egg sandwich they said that they didn't even normal knives in the kitchen. Ambience: The restaurant is more of a drive thru with limited bar seating. So a perfect place for a quick meal but not a place for a long chat since the seats are a bit uncomfortable. Also, during the visit one of the seats was wonky, I initially sat on it then moved since I didn't feel safe sitting on it. Afterwards, another customer sat on it for a while and the top came off. While this visit had mix reviews I still have hope since I love Blind goat. My friend and I saw this place advertised on social media, and immediately wanted to try it as soon as we could. This is mainly a grab-and-go type of place, but there is also very limited seating inside. We tried the "humpty dumpty egg'wich" and the "little belly burger." Both were DELICIOUS. We were so stuffed and to be honest, I couldn't finish the tator tots that came with the "little belly burger" meal. The burger was perfectly made and was so flavorful. I liked how buttery and fluffy the buns were. The meals here are definitely very hearty, so expect that. The service was also fantastic. 10/10 scrum-diddly-umptious!!! I'm writing this as I'm finishing off the Sichuan Hot Chicken sandwich I bought around 10 hours ago, 30s in the microwave, and it is STILL crunchy and delicious. (¬‿¬) Was passing through Houston, was second in line at 11:03AM (drive thru), received my food at 11:08--so fairly quick. I got the Belly Burger with belly sauce (literally asked for mayo, ketchup, and mustard, and was told this was the sauce), Sichuan Hot Chicken, and the Loaded Tots (Total: $31.38). Belly burger was tasty, had a very meaty flavor, incredibly filling. Bun was soft, yet had that crisp toasted slight crunch, yum. Ate the loaded tots all the way down to Austin, was still good and crunchy even after it cooled off. They gave me a spoon--fork would have been better. Mah Gawd. The Sichuan Hot Chicken. Get that!!! Chicken was literally around 7-8 inches of juicy, crispy perfection. Salty, spicy, umami flavors, lovely texture combined with that bun. We had a delightful lunch from Stuffed Belly! Our group ordered a few sandwiches and split them: I'd say the burger was my favorite, and the egg salad sandwich and tuna salad sandwich tied closely for second--in short, all of the sandwiches were super yummy! But the TATER TOTS were the showstoppers--the tater tots didn't make it all the way home and were entirely consumed by our group in the car ride home. The Belly Burger was pretty good. The potato bread was soft and sweet, while the burger meat had crisp edges. The grilled onions and cheese sandwiched between the meat kept the meat juicy and the buns dry. I liked the Sichuan chicken more since the batter was still crispy and crunchy and I thought that the spices had penetrated well into the chicken. The Stuffed Sauce was tasty but is a variation of a sauce that's at lots of different burger joints. The egg salad sandwich seemed to have a more salty and sharp flavor profile due to the Dijon and yellow mustards and chopped green onions than the usual sweet and creamy that I'm used to. It was overflowing with chopped creamy hard boiled eggs. The crustless bread was fluffy but held the sandwich well. I think I saw a lot of people order the strawberry fizz, which had sounded pretty interesting. There's plenty of parking since it's a standalone building in a shopping strip full of eateries and businesses. There's a small set of stools with a bar along the wall to wait or eat your food. There's also a long table on a small platform near the front door, where you can eat. Even through it's next to the drive-thru, there's not much exhaust flowing that way. While the little platform looks cool, the slats don't appear flushed, so something slim could fall into the cracks. There a lot of Pudgy's Cookies on display, which was a nice local connection. If they get too busy, they appear to stop taking orders for a moment so there's not a long wait from when you order and when you get your food. read more

I got their signature Belly Burger which is perfect blend of two smashed patties. If you're a little more hungry, I would go for the triple patty smash burger. Their loaded tots are amazing too! If you love smash burgers, this is a must try. I had the Texas bbq melt and it was amazing. The bbq sauce they use is perfectly balanced. The right amount of sweet and tang with a pinch of spice. Had a taste of the regular Belly burger and the Sichuan Hot chicken. Both were solid. I think that the hot chicken things has been done to death, but this is a unique take. A solid smash burger place ! We ordered the belly burger & the triple with loaded tots & a blackberry lemonade. The burger had good flavor & we loved the potato bun. Its quite large (bigger than a normal smash burger) so after eating 3/4 I was craving some lettuce or a fresh element to cut the fattiness. The lemonade was super refreshing & had real blackberries in the syrup ! It is a bit sweet though but goes well with the burger. This place should stick with their drive thru. Very small business to enjoy a meal in without hearing the conversations of the workers. Now, the food. This is what made me ignore the fact that I was a sardine eating in this place. The menu is quite small and the options are pretty much the same. The "Sichuan Hot Chicken" and The "Belly Melt" were the winners for me. Not the best chicken sandwich i've ever had but it's up there among the best. Would highly suggest to ask for the sauce on the side, they put way too much sauce on it. It ended up making the bread soggy but the chicken was big enough to accommodate the sauce. if you like a lot of sauce, have at it. Now, the Belly Melt... There was absolutely nothing wrong with this burger. it was absolutely stunning and delicious. The only difference in burgers here are either the amount of patties or the choice of bread. Other than that, the burgers pretty much all taste the same. Be ready to pay a lot for this meal, even if it's just you. Tater tots do not come with the burgers. Today was the day as I found myself in this part of Houston. Stuffed Belly is a small place that relies on their drive thru heavily. It's in a strip center that is packed with a variety of Asian restaurants, Korean BBQ, Japanese Ramen, Vietnamese, etc. And Stuffed Belly sits apart in the middle of the parking lot. I think it's an old Jack in the Box building. But this isn't Jack, Wendy, or Mac. I chose to go in to get the full picture. The moment you open the door you are surrounded with an intoxicating aroma of quality beef patties sizzling on a hot griddle. You can hear the sizzle and my tastebuds began making decisions on their own. After freshening up I went to the menu on the wall. This is a burger place. Plain and simple. Yes they were kind enough to provide a few non burger options for those picky people who go to a burger place and expect everything else except for a burger. (I would delete their post, I mean how dumb can you be to give a down review because it's a burger place in a very small space.) Anyway I digress, All I know is if the burger tastes as good as it smells cooking it's a winner. I ordered the Belly burger and an order of tots. I didn't order a drink because I had just gotten an iced matcha latte down the street. My order was ready in a flash. The large two patties burger was only $10 bucks and the tots totaled $14, plus tip. I opened the paper wrap and peeked at the burger. It's a smashed burger alright. Two meat patties seasoned with lots of black pepper (like my mom made) with melted cheese and some spicy special sauce oozed out the sides. Inside were some grilled onions and spicy pickles. The taste was amazing. The sauce was peppery with a nice balance of flavors and the beef was hard to beat. The meat tasted fresh and just ground. It's a simple burger but with a lot going on. All in all it's a very good and tasty burger and I rate it 4/5 stars. I reserve 5stars for a knock my lights out kinda place. But like I said I'm an old fashioned burger lover. I like lettuce and tomato on top. The crunchy lettuce and sweet tomatoes round it out for me. That said I very much enjoyed this burger and may drop by again if I'm ever in the area again. The problem is with all of the sheer variety of great eating establishments on Long Point Road to try out it might take a while. As I left I noticed another Mexican restaurant also on my list about a half block away. The staff was very friendly and the space was very clean. The burger and tots were ok, but the highlight for me was the chicken sandwich. The drive through on a Friday night gets busy. I sat at the drive through menu from starting at 6:49pm. Waited 10 minutes until order was taken. When I got to the window I had to wait another 10 min, watching longpoint get backed up. Service: When it gets hectic, this is typically when your employees either shine or fail. I can tell the girl at the drive through window could not deal with the busy lines. After 25 minutes of waiting, I was expecting an apology for the wait, instead handed my bag and gave me a blank stare and said nothing. Barnaby's across the street is often very packed.
