He explained clearly to us all that was involved and, considering his many years of doing business there and obviously thorough knowledge and experience in handling the legalities involved, we went ahead with the transfer. Once the Hawaii State paperwork was very professionally taken care of (a long, drawn out process in our situation), the firearms were very well packaged and shipped. They arrived 2 days prior to his estimate and everything arrived in great shape. I almost wish (almost!) I lived over there so I could do business with him on a regular basis. Also have used him for an FFL transfer and everything was good but a little slow, took a week from when my gun was delivered until I could pick it up but this has been the case with other local FFL as well. Not sure why it takes so long maybe HPD drags their feet in Kona. A few handguns. More rifles in the back but they are not really on display, I guess you just have to go down and see what he has back there. Mostly focused on archery stuff. A little pricey but I'm willing to pay more to a local small business that usually has what I need ammunition wise.
