I have been coming here for over a year and I've never been happier with a salon. The customer service is exceptional, you really feel welcome here! I have seen Kasie, Constance and QZ for my Brazilians- they're all wonderful, the waxing is painless, and they make it quick while being incredibly thorough. I have recently started seeing Larissa for hydrafacials and dermaplaning, she's so sweet and does an excellent job. I also love how much they all remember about their clients, it's like chatting with old friends every time I see them. During COVID I was concerned, since I work at a hospital, so I waited until I was fully vaccinated to return after the winter surge. However, they are being very safe with precautions, I was really impressed- my concern was more for exposing them to me than anything else. I could not recommend her abilities more she is a miracle worker. She laminated, waxed, tinted and shaped my eyebrows - not just any shaping she mapped them out based on my face and current structure! So much thought and care went into them.. they are the fluffy perfectly arched eyebrows of my dreams! I just moved to Bellevue last month and have been looking for a new salon. I am very particular on cleanliness/quality/customer service. QZ did my brows both times. She is VERY profesional, personable, and thorough. She took the time to discuss what type of look I was going for, mapped out my brows, & had me confirm prior to beginning the brow wax. I don't believe I have ever had my brows look like "twins" and QZ was able to accomplish that look for me. I felt very confortable as a client. The salon itself is very clean & they are excellent at communicating wait time (if any). I will definitely be returning and I'm interested in trying their other services in the future. Kasie hooked me up! My "eyebrows are now "on fleek" as the kids say nowadays (its a good thing). Some backstory: I had an unfortunate incident happen, where I shaved my head extremely short on accident (thinking there was a No. 2 guard on my hair clippers, when in reality, there was no guard). Because of this incident I had to shave my whole head down to a No. 1, which is very very short hair. Luckily, my hair grows fast and is almost all at the No. 1 length now (despite this, my roommate still enjoys calling me "patches"). Since all of this happened, my hair was nice and short and my eyebrows/caterpillars were looking HUGE! I had no option...I had to get these puppies waxed. I checked on Yelp for places that had great reviews on male eyebrow waxing and decided Studio Wax was the best fit for me. I then went to the Studio Wax website and easily booked my appointment the next day. Studio Wax is quite hidden. When you book your appointment you are given concrete details on how to get there though, so I easily found the studio. My Experience: Kasie was wonderful! We talked, we laughed and I shed some tears as I had hairs ripped from my face. It was not very painful and my eyebrows were done in about 10 mins. She then handed me the mirror and I locked eyes with the most beautiful brows I've seen in months or even years. Final Thoughts: For all the guys out there - I highly recommend you check out Studio Wax. Kasie cleaned up what needed to be done and didn't go overboard. Constance is amazing and I actually followed her from Ulta. She's very detail oriented and really does know hair, how they grow, and how to treat them. (And your skin) The establishment isn't the easiest place to find since the store front is actually within the building so keep that in mind when looking for Studio Wax. There's a lot of parking within the complex itself so go inside and park. You'll be able to see their sign on in which you can enter and go up a level from there. I've been coming to studio wax for probably 4 years, ever since the old place. The space they have is large and gorgeous, the staff are all amazing, friendly and get to know you on a personal level, which makes for a great atmosphere. As far as COVID goes they are going above and beyond, rest assured they take it seriously and put your safety as well as their own above all else. I'm a guy and I get my eye brows waxed every month (used to be more frequent as bad boys used to grow like crazy) but they take good care of me and don't laugh too hard when It looks like I'm crying from the tweezing ha-ha (I'm not crying you are) I've been to other wax studios around Seattle and Bellevue when I've been in a jam cause I never make appointments outside of a few days notice, which doesn't always work but that said I can usually get an appointment 2 days out.
