We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10…read moredifferent companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results!

Refused to give me any basic information on their tint selections. refused to send me any social medias with their work. Irma was only interested in replying to me when it regarded increasing price, but would flat out ignore any questions or concerns I had. I asked 2 easy simple question 4 different times yet i was ignored every single time. Two minutes of bare minimum effort was all that i needed to be a satisfied customer yet they couldn't even accomplish that.

The vehicle had no prior electrical or battery issues. Porsche-authorized technicians later evaluated the vehicle and confirmed the damage was directly caused by the tint service. Repair and related costs totaled $3,878.92. I attempted to resolve this directly, sent a certified demand letter that was delivered, and received no response. I am now proceeding with a small claims filing. Posting to document my experience.
