She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. My 82 yo mom loves it here, too. There's a plethora of skilled service providers and lots of face, body, general wellness treatments to choose from.

I was lucky enough to find an appointment within two days and on a Saturday too! First of all, the location is good and easy to find. It is on high street, so you can get there easily by bus # 2. For someone who prefers to drive, there is a parking area behind the building. Second, the place is so quiet, smells nice and is well-decorated. The light is just perfect and the music is just right! Third, Rosemary is well prepared for her clients, so professional, and enjoys her work. There is a huge different between professionals and amateurs and there is absolutely a big different between someone who enjoys working and someone who does it ONLY to get paid! This is something I've noticed -- Some people are just tired and want to get rid of their work to have some free time for their selves. But in this place with Rosemary, no one will experience these rush feelings. I felt she was enjoying her time even more than I was! She didn't once look at her watch or rush me! Rather, she forgot herself and was immersed in her work! So in my case, instead of finishing at 3:25 she was done at 3:40 pm at the same price! She is relaxed, laid back and nice. Fourth, usually facials are only about the face treatment, but in this place one gets a massage on the shoulders, neck, hands and feet. Your skin and your body will thank you for this visit! After learning I would be traveling to Vegas soon, she said I should wait on coloring it so it wouldn't fade in the sun. We also had a long conversation where I discovered the conditioners I was using were too heavy. I was doing too much for my type of hair. She gave me so much layering and body, while lightening the weight. My hair is so much easier to manage now and looks 100 times better. She could have colored my hair and charged me more, but instead told me what i needed. I can't thank her enough! I paid 57 bucks plus tip for this "cut." Once the next appointment showed up, mine was put on fast forward and I was shooed out the door - but not before trying to sell me a bunch of stuff. My hair cut had more lines than a movie script. Also, there was no fade. Just short hair. The hair wash was very nice. When I went back so that they could "fix" the previous attempt, I wasn't charged - though I kinda felt like they shoulda paid me! I'd go there again if you drove and paid for the first cut, and the following "fix it" cuts.

She was gentle, but very precise and I was comfortable the entire hour. There was another lady who brought me the color I chose and did a swatch of the color I picked and a similar- and I ended up choosing the other color she brought. I thought that was nice of her to do, since most places do not typically do that. The shop looks spacious and clean, with many nail techs ready to take on customers. I did make an appointment, and even after checking in I was asked twice what I was getting done by techs or managers that did not complete my service- which was confusing. Overall my service was great and hopefully I will be back again in the future :)
