From the moment I walked into the gym, I was immediately acknowledged, guided through the waiver, etc. Nick was the coach for this hour, and he was super friendly, walked us through the warmup, focusing on those shoulders and everywhere else necessary to prevent any injuries. Then he was super detailed in explaining and showing us the proper form and movement for the overhead squats. Did not stop there...whenever there can be improvements to my technique/form, Nick would let me know in such a positive way, that I never once felt deterred from the workout. All feedback was appreciated. There is the strength portion, and also the conditioning portion. The class was very well methodically designed. This is definitely the best alternative to any of those gyms in this area. We drive from the southern highlands area and it's definitely worth the 15 minute drive. The owners are well informed and some of the most genuine people. They were completely up front about everything, including their expectations from us as members. The team helped me make meaningful progress through a combination of strengthening exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on massage therapy. When I first started, the pain and immobility were really impacting my ability to use my arm normally, and I'm very happy with how much stronger and more functional it became throughout therapy. The combination of hands-on treatment and targeted exercises gave me tools I can continue using to prevent future issues. The only part of my experience that I wasn't particularly fond of was feeling like there was an effort to upsell me on additional TENS/electrotherapy treatments.
