It's a bookstore. A HUGE bookstore. With lots and lots of…read morebooks. Mostly, really cheap books (compared to new). People are always friendly. Organization is a little dicey at times, and you sometimes have to look around for what you want. Since it's all used books, you never know what you're going to get (like a box of chocolates....). All that said it's a great place to spend a little time browsing around see what you can find.

I have been on a search for a specific Pop vinyl Batman character for almost a year. One of the employees, (I did not catch his name, but I need to find out to give him credit) asked me what I was looking for. He searched their database and found it at a different store and asked them to hold it for me to pick up. I visited on 4/13 around 3pm. The workers here are great. I wish more places had the service they do here.

Now it's a Church of Rock n' Roll. Space is at a bit of a premium, but the records are displayed well and you should be able to dig at your own speed, even if it's a little busy. Most of the records skew rock, classic rock, oldies, blues and country - which makes sense given the store's location. Limited cds are available, too, if you swing that way. I do and I walked with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' Greatest Hits - a cd that my sister gave away to some random wannabe boyfriend years ago. I'm not bitter. (I'm so bitter.) Anyway - it felt good to roll the windows down and drive around listening to an old friend at an unhealthy volume. A note - watch your calendar. They go all in on Record Store Day and other celebrations. They'll also try to help you track down hard to find releases.

I spent 30 minutes or so browsing and could have spent hours. They have a medium sized collection of new and used albums and 45's that are mixed together. New albums go for anywhere from $25 to $50 depending on the album. It's clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly and cool. It's an eclectic mix of artists/bands and if you can't find what you're looking for they can probably order it for you. Deffo worth a look.

This isn't your typical record store, it's a full-blown subculture experience. The walls are plastered with band posters, punk art, and stickers, giving the whole space a gritty, underground vibe that feels authentic and alive. The vinyl selection is stacked with punk, hardcore, metal, and obscure underground releases, but that's just the start. You'll also find music related books, rare band T-shirts (I spotted gems from The Smiths, Bauhaus, and Venom), music action figures, and more oddball treasures that feel like they're straight out of an old-school zine ad. My sister and I called them Monday about a vacuum they were selling. We saw the ad on Craigslist. He didn't answer, but we left a message. He called back pretty quickly. They weren't open until today- Wednesday- but the guy said he'd hold it for us to come by after work today- no problem. Today, we drove from Owasso , in the rain to get it. We thought about bringing mom- but she didn't feel like dealing with it- and boy am I glad we didn't get her out of the house for this We ask about the vacuum, while Tiffany is pulling her wallet out..... and the guy tells us -- after trying to sell us some chairs he saw us looking at-- "It's gone." Nothing else. After several questions, he finally tells us that he sold it. He sold the vacuum he knew we were coming for today, and tells us it's our fault, because we hadn't paid for it already. Never mind the store wasn't open. They were closed all week. We called Monday anyway, because we really needed a functioning vacuum. Oh well. He says. We should have paid in advance. These things happen. So often, people don't pay for things, and he has to sell it to someone else who will. We reminded him he said he'd hold it. He said he didn't do holds. The guy keeps saying he's sorry, and he's a jerk, and we should leave. But it's really our fault for doing what he said and believing he'd hold it for when we came in today. Like we told him. But someone else apparently called him, offered to pay him, and he didn't call us to let us know, or even tell us there was a competing offer. He escorted us out of the store, lecturing us for berating him, asking if we were happy, and telling us we should leave. And physically held the door shut. Oh. Also, ironically, they have a bible study here. Because this guy has impeccable morals. Clearly. Feel free to share, because y'all, this is no way to run a business. Meanwhile. I'm glad we drove all this way for nothing, and we still need a vacuum.

Buying site unseen…read morecan be a little scary but Scott was super helpful - even making a recommendation after I described what I was looking for. The furniture was as described and pictured and Scott actively pointed out any flaws (they were so minor I would not have noticed) in advance to make sure there were no surprises. Furniture is perfect and I'm stalking his website for my next must have!!
