BOOKING CLASSES -- Use their website. I had a ClassPass membership back then so I used my ClassPass credits to book the Reformer class. As of the writing of this review, in July 2026, BeFitness is no longer on ClassPass so guests will need to buy a single class package or a membership directly from BeFitness. A friend told me that they got rid of their Class Pass contract a while ago now. (Side-note: ClassPass is an app that allows members to book classes at different fitness studios and have the option to also access gyms and spas across various cities). REFORMER CLASS -- Anyone that has done a Reformer class knows that it is challenging, especially at 5am. The instructor was good because she provided understandable cues of what to do for each move/exercise. The instructor was enthusiastic as well. Having now taken other Reformer Pilates classes at a different Pilates studio in Avon and Bay Village, I definitely do not think the Reformer Pilates class at Be Fitness was as hard as the others that I've taken elsewhere. Nonetheless, I still recommend BeFitness if you live in the area and are looking for a beginner and intermediate friendly class. The Reformer Pilates class that I took at a different studio was a more advanced class. TIP (Reformer Pilates) -- The good thing about Reformer Pilates is that you can always adjust the resistance straps to increase or decrease the amount of resistance (weight) that you are pulling. SERVICE -- I remember the check-in process being smooth when I entered and the front desk woman greeted me (she was also the instructor). Overall, I enjoyed the Reformer Pilates class. Similar to many fitness studios, they sometimes have deals/sales so join their email list or visit them on social media to stay informed with current discounts. But they hired one of the best Aerialist in the city and I wanted to resume my practice. In addition to restarting aerial myself, I decided to get my niece involved. The studio made it very confusing and did not communicate to me how to register my niece. This resulted in me receiving an email that my registration was canceled, and we missed class. To this day, I have not received any follow up communication from the studio and the instructor was let go. All of this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to wait until I ran out of class passes to post my review, but this has been on my mind for days. My niece was making great progress and looked forward to attending. Sadly, we will not be members anymore.

I called and left a message inquiring as to how to get started as a new pupil and they got back to me within 30 minutes! The staff was very responsive and I set out to my first class with high hopes. The atmosphere was great. Whenever you try something alone for the first time, it's always an anxious experience- except for your first class here! After easily reserving a time slot (also online), I drove to the studio and I missed it on the first pass. Why? Because the studio is also a chiropractor's office, and the Yoga Trends sign is not visible from the street. Initially, I was concerned. But then I went in and saw a bunch of crazy machines and a handful of people who all had smiles on their faces and I knew it was going to be great. And, as usual, I was right. The studio is in a doctor's office because the class instructor, Dr. Barry, is also a chiropractor. He and his wife actually invented this particular Pilates method; she studied under a yogi in India and is also an instructor. My classmates and I spent an hour pushing, pulling, bending and flexing our way through a set of challenging (but not ridiculously hard) moves. Dr. Barry thoroughly explained every position, went through the motions with us and gently corrected us as needed along the way. With such a small class (they are specifically kept under 10 people, I think), the instructor was able to give each participant some personal attention. I definitely "felt the burn" the next day, so I know it's working. I cannot recommend this studio highly enough. Go forth, exercise and have fun.

I've long been interested in trying out a yoga class and the beginner's workshop was the perfect way to start out. Most times I was too afraid to book a class elsewhere because all the hardcore yogis would be flowing through moves and I'd be huffing and puffing on my mat unable to figure out what was going on. That was so not the case here. Our yoga instructor, Erica (and owner of the biz), was friendly, welcoming, and helpful the entire class. We were led through a series of moves all leading up to being able to put together a sun salutation A. With Vinyasa each move "flows" through to the next and builds off of some basic poses. Per the YogaFlow website, Vinyasa yoga is a strong, athletic style of yoga that links movement to your breath. The focus on breathing was more relaxing than I had anticipated. I left class feeling both energized and calm. It was wonderful. The beginner's workshop lasted the full two hours but it felt like no time at all. Very much looking forward to my next class. Some notes: -Bring your own mat, water, and a towel. -They provide yoga props (blankets, blocks). -To get to the studio enter the building at 5320 Hoag Drive (park behind the building), enter Dr. Michael Seng's office and turn right, then head up the stairs to the loft. -Try not to eat before class (you probably wouldn't feel so great if you do). -Don't wear super loose baggy clothes, they will get in the way. -Various level classes are available throughout the week, check the website for details.

I never heard back from them, and ended up getting charged again in January. I called again and emailed requesting the charge be removed. Again, no response. I got charged AGAIN in February. I emailed again providing the past details and requesting the January and February charges be removed. Still no response when low and behold, I WAS CHARGED IN MARCH. Once in January is one thing. I get it, your busy, it happens in February, that stinks and a I'm a little put out. But there is no excuse now. I have been charged over and over, all the while attempting to follow up directly with the business. I attempted to be proactive and cancel prior to being charged at all to avoid this whole mess, to no avail. Now I am stuck with all the work of disputing these charges with my bank.
