I hate to do this, but after repeated attempts to contact this business, with no response, this is the result. I attended starting late summer with the monthly membership and liked it well enough. I moved to Austin, TX in December and called to cancel my membership, after attempting to cancel online and being unable to find that option. It went to voicemail and I left a message. I never heard back from them, and ended up getting charged again in January. I called again and emailed requesting the charge be removed. Again, no response. I got charged AGAIN in February. I emailed again providing the past details and requesting the January and February charges be removed. Still no response when low and behold, I WAS CHARGED IN MARCH. Once in January is one thing. I get it, your busy, it happens in February, that stinks and a I'm a little put out. But there is no excuse now. I have been charged over and over, all the while attempting to follow up directly with the business. I attempted to be proactive and cancel prior to being charged at all to avoid this whole mess, to no avail. Now I am stuck with all the work of disputing these charges with my bank. read more

We went to a date night couples yoga event and it was fantastic!! It got our blood flowing, helped us connect, and we got to cuddle at the end! There was a point towards the end of class where every couple was laying together and talking about their feelings and I could hear so many couples crying! It was so moving and connecting for everyone. The space was cute and welcoming and I highly recommend this event! read more

This makes me feel terrible to write a bad review; however, I have emailed the studio 6 different times within the past 2 months, through the email they provide on their website, through the website itself, and leaving a voicemail on the number provided when trying to cancel my membership. My bank is disputing the charge right now for last month, and now I have to worry about the upcoming month to see if I am charged once again as I have not yet heard back from the studio. I understand people and studios are busy, but this is unacceptable as a business. I was planning on cancelling and coming back in a few months, but it doesn't feel like I morally can at this point. I've attended the Rise and Shine Vinyasa Flow as well as the Yin Meditation at Source. I can't recommend this studio enough! The space is intimate and relaxing and the instructors/fellow yogis are consistently welcoming and friendly. There is no intimidation factor here- you're encouraged to find your personal yoga expression. It's super easy to register/cancel for classes online and the website keeps track of how many class credits you have. Be sure to get the Groupon for your first visits! They have a stock of mats, blocks, blankets, and bolsters to no need to worry about buying your own at first. read more

I bought a Groupon to try this place out - $35 for unlimited classes for one month. There are 3-4 classes a day, generally one in the morning and two in the evening. Registration is as simple as entering your email online. The space is not the largest yoga studio that I have been to in town, but they did their best with what they had. The studio really is only one space, but right in the doorway they placed a rug, shoe rack and hooks for coats. There's one bathroom in the back near where they placed a heater to warm the space up initially. Various lamps lit the space and soft music was played during the class. Mirrors lined one wall. The first class I tried was the Tuesday "Beginners/basics Vinyasa Level 1/2 Yoga" taught by Sherry. Sherry was really nice, really open to questions and really down to earth. The class she conducted met my expectations for a beginners class (e.g., no inversion positions). Thinking back to when I was a true beginner though (i.e., never did yoga before) I think I would have been a bit lost as Sherry used the English names of positions, which I recognized, but a true newbie may not have and may have liked more directions. However Sherry wandered around the room and specifically said she didn't mind being stopped during class with questions. All and all I really liked the hour class. I've been to beginner classes at other studios and enjoy doing some things here that I had not done before. I will definitely revisit this class during my unlimited Groupon month. I also tried the Saturday morning "Beginners Yoga for Every Body" with Brittany. I really liked Brittany a lot - she was a great teacher, attentive, made hands on adjustments, actually demonstrated the poses herself, and gave detailed step-by-step instructions which gave the feel that she conducted class more like a workshop which I thought was cool. Unfortunately this class was more basic (no sweat, little flow) than the one actually entitled Basic that I took on Tuesday so I don't think I will be back to this one. The first class was free so my friends and I went to the basics class on Sunday morning. This was a very different yoga class than I am used to taking. There was a lot of chanting and weird breathing exercises, which I'm personally not a fan of. I also did not like the fact that there was no background music, you could hear the busy traffic and construction workers yelling outside the whole time. The instructor did not walk around the class to help with poses either. I would have been very upset if I had to pay for this class. I can't remember the instructors name and maybe the other classes are a lot better? Otherwise, friendly staff and cute space! read more

I want to echo other reviews about the yoga studio so that no one makes the mistake of signing up for any monthly membership that involves auto pay. Source Energy has totally changed my opinion on yoga. I used to be so imitated by being a beginner but the judgement free environment at source has helped me to fall in love with yoga. Everyone does their best, and I find the classes to be so motivational and usually the best part of my day. Love the power flow hot yoga class. Studio recently expanded into the space next door, still small yet cozy space. Jess the owner/teacher is my favorite! Offers a variety of levels and variations to keep it interesting. Super affordable, love the energy and atmosphere. Btw I am one of those individuals who use to "hate" practicing yoga. I am giving the place 1 star based on no one calling me back. I bought a discounted 1 month classes on Groupon. I have called this place multiple times to know how I sign up for my first class, if I need to bring a mat or if they provide them and general inquires. I have called probably over 10x and it goes straight to voicemail and have left multiple voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. Now I have $30 in Groupon wasted. I'm not sure who owns this place but they need to work on customer service. read more

I love this studio! It's so convenient in Lakewood and Jess and the rest of the teachers give off such a great vibe. I've been practicing yoga on and off for 8 years and never have been able to do a head stand (one example) until practicing here. It's so great because they actually work with the class to challenge ourselves rather than just moving everyone through the motions on auto pilot. Honestly I have never had a more wonderful yoga practice. The instructor I had, Dan, was absolutely phenomenal and was able to incorporate every level into the vinyasa flow class. I was so impressed and so reenergized after leaving, I will absolutely make this class a part of my Sunday routine! If you're on the fence about yoga, out of practice, or looking to try a new studio this is definitely the place! read more
