When she first gave me the mirror my eyebrows still had hair all over and then the second time she plucked some of the long hairs that took me months to grow. The wax quality is terrible as well it feels like a sticker. She had to pluck most of the hair off and with tweezers that are not precise at all. I am pretty upset as eyebrows really shape the face and I take pride in mine. They are now super thin and i don't like them at all. I was in a bit of a pinch my normal salon was booked solid and i was in need of a wax for my upcoming jaunt to Greece. I yelped and found this place in close proximity to my casa and that there was a Yelp deal (double win) I emailed Brenda ( who is super sweet btw) and she had a facial cancel on her and advised me that a 10 am was available we correspnded through email but she has a phone number for business as well. I arrived a few minutes before and waited in probably the cutest waiting room i had ever seen TONS of bumble bees and cute little nick nacks. Brenda was finishing up with a client and a few minutes later she was ready for me. I have never had a wax with strips ( im used to the hard wax) and i usually de robe from the bottom down but Brenda provided me with cotton like panties to wear during the wax. The STRIPS were VERY PAINFUL i mean getting waxed is not like being licked by kittens at all but ive been getting waxed for YEARS and it def hurt. All and all i was pretty happy with the results and if i was ever in a pinch again i would def call/email Brenda. The only reason why this isnt a full 5 star review is the pricing. Brazilians are 72.00 thats more than im used to paying even with tip. Its def a great wax but the price point is just out of my range (buying the yelp deal really helped me out ALOT ) I also didnt even think about it until i left but part of my brazilian wax at any other place includes a back door clean up. It was a quick wax with great results and I would def recommend Brenda. She provides other services such as tinting and facials. Gratuity isnt accepted at the beehive and she has various hours to fit any ones schedule.

She was very knowledgeable and took the time to ask me all the relevant questions needed to help me get to the roots of my skin problems. Parking: In the back...kind of a tight squeeze. Location: Downstairs in the Posh Salon Restroom: Clean The only reason I am holding back on the 5th star is because the prices. Otherwise, service and treatments are 5 stars!

I also booked the dermaplane because it was important to me. When I called to add my friend I asked Jimmie what facial I should choose for my friend and I was Tom's the esthetician customizes the facial to the client. I don't think in 40 years I ever had such a bad feeling about my treatment. First they booked me a 30 min facial even thought I made myself clear that I wanted a proper facial, not a grab and go facial which somehow I was booked for. I cancelled the eyelashes to have a full hour which was ludicrous. I wakes out with not only mascara under my eyes, my combination skin was not cleaned property and my pores got no attention. The dermatology plane treatment was timid today the least. The brow taxi g and plucking was also very underwhelming. I have wayward brows remaining and most upsetting was THAT MY ESTHETICIAN BWVER LOOKED AT MY SKIN WITH A LIGHT TO SEE WHAT MY SKIN NEEDED. It would have made a sense for her to hand me a mirror and I would have seen while there my face was full of hair, peach fuzz and eyebrows. The reason I'm writing a one star review is that I called two times and complained before my facial started because she didn't look at my skin. She told me "I asked and you told me you had combination skin" well, I find that counterintuitive that a professional would ask me what what o needed I less making an expert decision. I got home and saw so much congestion in my large pores as well as brows. So, I called Kimmie at 12:30 to complain, wanted to send a picture but she client even give me a way to send the pic. I wasn't even offered to come in to be evaluated by management. Kimmie kept asked what do I would I like then to do. Before I treatment I walked out of the room to ask for Courtney who was in a meeting and today was she really in meetings from 12:30-5:30. For the reason that she didn't have the professionalism to call me back, I am writing this review. I gave them the chance to call me to discuss. I am never going back and it's ashame. I go to spas all over the world at Sensai Lanai, Naviva Punta Mita, and other top Spas in top resorts. I was hoping to find a local media spa or aesthetic practitioner in Wilmington. The young lady who did my underarms was very insensitive in the sense that she did not displace great customer service. The wax was entirely too hot. I do not feel like she waited long enough for the wax to completely dry before ripping it off. There was additional hair in a crevice under my arm bc I am not skinny and she did not even try to remove it and just blatantly told me she couldn't remove it. I've gotten my arms waxed multiple times and never have been told that. I honestly just think it was the technician that I had..cause if I had Aja, it probably wouldn't have been so terrible.
