I've gotten all of my traditional tattoos done by the same person for the last 15 years But I wanted to get a flash tattoo for Friday the 13th and I reached out to Chau Huynh because they were doing flash tattoos, and he had multiple pages of ones he would do. He got me an appointment set up for Saturday because Friday was fully booked. I showed up with my friend and we both got our tattoos done and are super happy with them! I am so happy I found Kelly at Studio Ink! The amazing fine line work she does is incomparable. I wish I had done this for my other tattoos! I gave Kelly some inspo photos and photos of my favorite flower. She created an image and with one change we had it. After I saw the design, I was event more excited for my appointment. The location is hidden from the street, but once you get in the shop, the vibes are so modern and inviting. So many tattoo shops are intimidating but not this one. After finding the perfect spot on my arm for the design, Kelly got to work. It wasn't too long and not very painful. When I saw the completed tattoo I was SO HAPPY. I rushed over to the mirror. Aline Figueroa is extremely unprofessional. I booked a few fine line tattoos with her weeks in advance and she priced them at one amount and then when I reduced the tattoos she wanted to increase the price. When I inquired about why the price went up she cancelled my appointment the night before. Would never recommend her to anyone. Update: Any business that calls inquiries and bad reviews bullying is disgusting and further justifies my review. My texts were nothing but polite. Not demanding what so ever (I can provide them for anyone interested). I even apologized for the changes even though they were very minor. I also was bringing additional business with having my friend come to get two tattoos at the same time. She wasn't even willing to honor her original price which was for 6 when my revisions were for 5 smaller/easier tattoos. Not only would I not recommend Aline to anyone I now based off the business owners stance would not recommend this business as a whole to anyone. I see where she gets her lack of professionalism from. Anyone who throws around the word bullying that loosely deserves to have their business shut down. read more
