It had been over 10 years since I got a tattoo, so I was more than nervous. I won a free tattoo, and chose a spot that is extremely sensitive bc I wanted to stick to my torso. I prepared myself for being in an uncomfortable position for an extended period of time, but I will say! Mikey, my tattoo artist, made me feel very comfortable during the entire process. I was simultaneously being interviewed AND recorded while getting the tattoo, so I was on EXTRA high alert and anxiety. The tattoo design has very clean lines, and I was focusing on my breathing the entire time. All in all, I am VERY PLEASED with the outcome, while at the same time happy it's done! It's a smaller location, but the artists have 40+ years experience between them all. Highly recommend stopping by to see if their style suits your vision! I had an amazing experience getting my first tattoo at cloud 9 from Angel! She was super easy to book with and helpful answering my questions, and just literally SO sweet. I went in nervous but she made me feel really comfortable amost immediately. I have some health issues that can lead to me fainting, and i did end up passing out pretty badly and with almost no warning during my appointment. Another artist near by was able to help catch me, and i dont remember much (bc i was blacked out) but when i woke up the whole shop of staff had come together to bring me snacks and ice packs and cool paper towels and water, they were all so helpful and sweet and really just went above and beyond for me through the entire expereince. Angel freehanded my tattoo based on a concept i had but couldnt perfectly picture, and she completley brought to life exactly what i wanted. I am so happy with my tattoo, its healed really gracefully with no issues at all, and i would absolutely book again with Angel in the future! Overall i am just so happy with and grateful for how this experience went, I would give more than 5 stars if that was an option! read more

I went to this shop to see the tattoo artist Angel for my Percy (from the cartoon show Clarence) tattoo. Angel was very organized and already at the shop when i arrived for our appointment. She already had a drawing together of a few different ideas and when we discussed more what i wanted she changed the design for me. Didn't take long to get the tattoo done and the shop was clean and i felt very comfortable ! Everyone was nice and respectful and I'd return again to get something else done by Angel. I followed Angel on Instagram for a couple of months, and she had a last minute opening. I dm'ed her and was able to book super quickly! Her station and tattooing process is super sanitary. She is literally the sweetest tattoo artist and made great conversation. I chose a moon flash tattoo she had available on her Instagram, and asked for a variation of the heart tattoos she's done before. She freehanded the heart, and I'm literally in love with it. I'm posting this as a review for the artist Jared. Jared's done work on both my friend and myself. Perhaps he takes a little longer than other artists, but I'm perfectly fine with that... it means that he's not just rushing you out to make a fast buck, and your ink work is great. My first piece with him took about 3.5 hours, and it was just outline and shading. Upper-outer arm, not even a full 1/2-sleeve. As soon as this is healed, I'll be going back for the color because of the great work he's done so far. read more

I told my artist jared that I had a very important photo shoot to do with my newborn son and didn't wat my hand tattoo to look shitty fo9r the fam photos. I messaged him for days ahead of the appointment date and he still could finish my tattoo,and he told me "I would rather be painting at home" and then I asked if a different artist to finish it and the second artist flaked too!!! and I didn't get my new born pictures taken bkuzmy tattoo looks like shit and didn't want that as a forever memery with my new born son!!!! read more

The guys are cool. Jared takes a long time to knock out a little tattoo so if you have the patience then go for it. I got my whole inner bicep tattooed with 3 roses and expected the whole thing to take about 5-6 hours max. NOPE. Took closer to 11. Outline was about 3 hours. Should have maybe been 1.5? Couldn't handle anymore work that night. Main large rose took 3.5 hours on a 2nd sitting, when I expected the entire thing to take that long to color in. 3rd sitting was to finish 2 more smaller roses took about 3.5 - 4 hours. Lastly the most upsetting thing is I asked for black and grey in the middle (rose compass directions) as I have a theme and absolutely do not like bright or hot colors, nor do I have any colors like that in my tattoos. I explained this to him a few times and we talked about colors. You guys he put BRIGHT YELLOW AND HOT PINK in the requested grey area. I don't watch myself get tattooed cause it bothers me watching so I didn't know until it was too late and permanently in my skin. I couldn't do anything to fix it after that. Soooo be careful as he will sneak shit into your work that he wants, but you do not want or didn't discuss, and doesn't communicate his ideas he'd like to do. He just goes for it hoping you like it. I still hate the pink and yellow so damn much he ruined my tattoo. It doesn't matter whether everyone else likes it. I hate it. read more

Great Shop ! I've been coming here off and on for most of my tattoos for years. Mikey have always been a great artist, and has always been more of a family tattoo artist as he's done most of my sister's tattoos. I trust him creatively to add flair to my work however he feels necessary, and I've seen him freehand a lot of good additions while working. The most unprofessional tattoo shop I've encountered and I've been to tattoo shops in third world countries. They drink at their shop with no discretion whatsoever. The last thing I would like is a drunk tattoo artist to mark something permanent on my body. I've approached the same artist twice where it even have a deposit and the guy has not called me in months. The first time I approached him he didn't call back because apparently he never asked for a deposit. Not really welcoming at all. Just overall a horrible experience. read more
