She was running behind, which was fine, no biggie. Sat in the chair at 5:20. A quick "consult" and off to the bowl to be shampoo'ed. Back in the chair. "trust the process" is my mentality when it comes to haircuts. I trust that the stylist knows what they are doing. She was taking large sections of my hair and pulling it straight up. No worries, I figured its was a trick she had learned. I was out the door by 6 because she has someone else waiting.... So I was rushed in and out and charged $85.00. After 2 weeks of living with this choppy, uneven haircut, I am going somewhere else to try and fix it.

The location is great with plenty of parking and they have always had openings for my fairly last minute appointments (though I'm not picky as to stylist). Service is professional and friendly from start to finish. You can tell the place opened awhile ago but they keep it very clean and organized out front. Sometimes it's been chaotic, sometimes quiet but I always had my appointments on time. You do have to be clear on what you want and speak up about styles, I think sometimes they get a bit too trendy and creative rather than just giving what was asked. But they want feedback and for you to have a good experience- and I think the prices are exactly on point. Like most places, tips are cash only or venmo so be prepared with your stylists name or cash. Love having an easy professional spot so close.

Earl is a true master…read more I moved about a year ago back to the main line. I was truly never happy with any barber in the area. I work in the city and had some solid haircuts there but the service was lackluster and at $55 quite the rip off. Then there was Earl. Great haircut. Took his time to make it perfect and a just the right amount of interesting conversation. All for under $20. My hair is the stiff and coarse Asian hair that barbers find challenging because every mistake shows. Earl was more than up to the challenge. How good was the hair cut? So good, I bright my 2 year old to get his haircut. I was worried because he usually goes to the kids salon with the cars as barber chairs and TVs. Earl Connected right away. I put a tablet in my kids hand and he just smiled through it. It seemed to me like he knew he was about to get a serious haircut with a nice hard part and all. We walked out with what my wife said was "his best haircut yet." I uploaded some pictures for you to see. I saw the other female stylist cut a another little boy's hair at the same time and she did a fantastic job as well. Price was $13 for a kid's cut. You just can't beat the value! Don't hesitate on giving them a try.

Mixed experience…read more First time at this store. Last time was in college, different store of course. Scheduled an appointment online but, as another poster pointed out, a waste of time. Arrived on time and both hairdressers were engaged with a cutting. Noone at desk to greet, though not unexpected. These kind of chains run lean. One other customer was seated and waiting. When Rebecca (I know her name as their names show up when you go to make an appointment, you can choose a specific person or request next available) was done with her customer, whom she seemed very pleasant with based on their conversation (you can hear everything), she settled his account at the register and then seemed occupied with the cash in the register (probably counting what was there). Did not acknowledge me at all, though I was a new arrival. Looked her up, she may be the store manager. Text message you receive from Supercuts after booking an appt says to let them know when you arrive so they can update you on your wait. Told same on their online website. So I went up to her at the counter to tell her and right away she barked at me in a very rude and hostile voice to sit back down and we will call you when we are ready. I was just astounded by her very condescending tone and disrespect. As I complied, I mentioned I was there for an appointment. She cleaned up her area and went to the back to use the bathroom. Frankly, she acted like she was dawdling. She finally came out and then called the guy who had been waiting before me. i have no idea whether he was a walk in or had an appointment, but noone said anything so I concluded that, regardless of appointment, this place probably just operates as first come first serve. Again there was no acknowledgement from Rebecca. Don't think she liked me or wanted to cut my hair. When the other lady Zoe was done with her customer, she cleaned up her area and then immediately called me next. Zoe was very nice and professional. She did keep pushing clippers, don't know if this is typical here to make things move faster. I got the feeling cash was much more welcome here. Not sure what is going on with that. Maybe something the franchise owner prefers for some reason? The one star is for Rebecca. Unless she is gone, I don't see how I can return.

I booked a simple blowout with some curls -- nothing complicated -- but was met with pushback and attitude the moment I arrived. Instead of listening to my request, the stylist (who turned out to be the owner, Freida) insisted on doing it her way. She straightened the top of my hair near the roots and curled only the bottom, which left it looking frizzy, flat, and messy. I politely asked her to fix it multiple times, but the more she touched it, the worse it got. Rather than listening or trying to improve the situation, Freida became increasingly rude and dismissive. I was shocked by how unprofessional and cold she was -- especially as the owner. I left the salon in tears, completely humiliated and disappointed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If they can't even do a simple blowout, how can you possibly trust them with anything else?
