SD has renewed my smile! My 4 front teeth looks amazing! I am so impressed at how natural they look and I cannot help myself from giving everyone a big smile! The whole process was smooth! I am usually apprehensive about needles and going to the dentist but they made me feel so welcomed and entertained watching some of my favorite shows on Netflix. The appointment didn't feel long at all. I am Sharing a photo of my before and after pictures. You can tell the difference between them and how great the outcome is. It made me feel like beauty queen smiling from ear to ear! The Studio Dental staff is great, extremely friendly! I am very grateful to Dr. Park and Yadira for the wonderful experience. Their hard work, dedication and quality of work they have done on my teeth had given me not only confidence but also a bright smile that I thought I could never have.

Studio Dental, and specifically Dr. Boyer gave me results I didn't know were possible without veneers! Started seeing Studio Dental because the first dentist I saw in SF told me I needed a crown and I wanted a second opinion so I came here at the recommendation of a coworker. Studio Dental recommended a onlay instead and we did some more important dental work. I had mentioned that I wasn't happy with my front teeth that the coloring of the cavity was stained and that the prior SF dentist told me I would only be able to achieve any good results with 4 front veneers. Dr. Boyer was on the job and made it her mission to help me achieve a symmetrical and cohesive smile while keeping my teeth intact. She recommended re-filling the one front tooth and the smaller one to the left and reshaping slightly, and adding 1 bonded veneer to another side tooth which was smaller. I could go into much further detail but I will it short: I felt like every thing done to my teeth was conservative, while effective at making my smile perfect. The work was done very meticulously and with check-ins through out the process. The proof is in the photos, I cannot recommend Dr. Boyer and Studio Dental enough, and I am so proud to have beautiful natural teeth!

I chipped my front tooth just days before my 71st birthday and I wanted to have it fixed. I'm so thankful these ladies were able to get me in and fixed up, and with just a simple filling instead of needing a veneer or a crown. I had an exceptional experience with everyone I interacted with and I'd highly recommend this office for any cosmetic dentistry you might need.

Before: You can see some teeth with "notched" areas around the gum in the upper back on both sides.

I wholeheartedly recommend Studio Dental! The folks there are excellent and every experience I've had has been wonderful. In particular, I just had some work done on my teeth by Dr. Patel. I don't like going to the dentist and not understanding what's going on during the cleaning/work or what the dentist recommends for treatment. Dr. Patel's bedside manner is great - during my cleaning, she clearly described everything she was doing and why. When it came time to make treatment recommendations, she made sure I understood my choices and felt good about the plan. I had an issue that I didn't realize could be addressed (previous dentists had not mentioned any treatment options) - gum recession caused "notched" areas of my teeth to get exposed near the gumline. Dr. Patel did a composite inlay technique I'd never seen before where she built a lot of the composite outside of my mouth. She was able to totally fix the notching issue, and now my teeth feel noticeably better - less sensitivity and solid, smooth tooth all the way up to the gum line. I've also interacted with Dr. Boyer and think she's awesome too!

I decided to see Dr. Rabanus for a consultation after seeing his glowing reviews here. Consultation: The consultation was straightforward. He explained my case difficulties in a very straightforward, matter-of-fact manner. He felt confident he could dramatically improve my smile. He also suggested some additional lower veneers, which I agreed with. It was clear he knew what he was talking about, and showed me photos from other cases to give me additional confidence in my decision. I was IN. The Process: The procedures themselves were straightforward. First session was to get molds for temporaries. Second to remove the crowns and prep teeth for veneers. Third was to install the permanent crowns (had to do a minor do-over on one set - see below). Took about a month. Dr Rabanus also works weekends or late evenings too which is great for busy professionals like me. Results: The results? ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. I am so happy with my smile now. As Austin powers said- "I got my mojo back"! Everything from the color to the shape is gorgeous. Just the right shade of white to be eye catching without being obvious (e.g. NOT fake Hollywood blinding white). I've got many - many - compliments on my smile. I have never met someone who is so particular abut the results of his work and so determined to ensure his work is EXACTLY what I want. As an example, he sent the crowns back to the lab because they were not the precise shape he wanted (I couldn't tell the difference, but he could.) Pros: - Extremely meticulous and conscientious - Confident and capable. Stays on top of the latest research and techniques (in addition to his Dental degree, he also has a PhD). - Provides clear options and ideas on type of restorative work to be done. I appreciate him sharing his thinking process and how he arrives at the treatment plan he recommends. - Never "pushes" treatment options. Final decision is always up to the Patient. Cons: - None I can think of. Personality wise, I am very type A, so I am very involved in, and always need to know lots of details about, the care and treatment plans. Dr. Rabanus is unfailingly respectful - I found him to be an excellent partner in my care. Summary: I highly recommend Dr. Rabanus. The quality of his work is beyond superb. A modern day Da Vinci, he couples an artist's eye with a scientist's focus on perfection - it's a rare and unusual combination that produces really extraordinary results. You will be very happy with the results of his work. I know I am.

My goal was an enhanced, rather than strictly natural, aesthetic. He masterfully corrected my deep bite and eliminated the dark spaces at the sides by broadening my smile, while elevating my smile by enlarging the front teeth. The design process involved two sets of temporaries: a natural look, followed by a bolder 'Brigitte Bardot' style featuring prominent centrals and smaller laterals. For the final set, Dr. Rabanus meticulously crafted a playful yet symmetrical design, ensuring perfect axial alignment and adhering to the golden proportion, resulting in a truly flawless outcome.

I just completed my 2nd alignment treatment with another phenomenal orthodontist, after my first deeply unhappy encounter with Dr. Amanda Cheng back in 2018. The difference in communication, service quality and the final result was staggering. At least with the second doctor, I was not questioned and condemned simply for not grasping an orthodontic terminology. After all, I didn't attend Harvard for a dental degree -- I came to receive professional care from someone who did. When I raised concerns about my teeth still being crooked before treatment was "completed," Dr. Cheng flatly denied it and refused to provide any way of measuring progress. In contrast, my second doctor carefully examined the issue, created a refinement plan, and delivered perfect alignment as a result. For the record, both doctors labeled me an "easy case". I wish her display of the Harvard certificate and the warmth of shared Asianness had been authentic rather than performative during those initial visits, but instead I left feeling hard-sold and manipulated -- and I truly hope no patient has to experience that again.

Now, this is technically not a HIPAA violation as I am a patient of both practices, but it was very off putting to have a medical office call my place of work regarding my personal treatment. I would have preferred if she would not have disclosed what she was calling about and just ask to speak with me instead. As a concerned patient, I asked for basic guidance on proper flossing technique so I could avoid this happening again. Dr. Ordonez refused and said that kind of education is "usually for cleanings" and that I should schedule one instead. That felt dismissive given it was directly related to why I was there. During the procedure, an instrument contacted my upper tooth and Dr. Ordonez said "sorry" at the time. That evening, after the numbness wore off, my wife noticed a chip on that upper tooth that wasn't there before. The next morning (Feb 11) I called the office to report it. The practice manager/front desk (Randy) was dismissive and said, "we don't know when we can get you in," and suggested 2 PM. I explained 1 PM was the only time I could make due to work. He said "maybe we can get you in" and wouldn't confirm until I called back again and pushed for it. Before being seen, I told the front desk I was uncomfortable returning to Dr. Ordonez and asked to see a different dentist. That request was refused. During the Feb 11 visit, Dr. Ordonez was defensive and denied responsibility. When I said her instrument hit my tooth the day before and she had said "sorry," she said she didn't remember and would need to "check her notes." I was also told the notes weren't even completed yet, which didn't inspire confidence. When I asked if the edge could be polished, she said she didn't want to because I would "just come back and complain that it's too short." She also said words to the effect of, "I can't help it if you don't take good care of your teeth," which felt like blaming me rather than addressing what happened. The tone was dismissive and confrontational. A small composite repair was placed, but the way this was handled--from the front desk to the dentist--was not professional or patient-centered. I escalated this to the owner, Dr. Growney, and his response was to defend the office and minimize what happened rather than address the conduct, the refusal to let me see another dentist, or the dismissive communication. The overall message was essentially: "We did nothing wrong," which felt like enabling this behavior instead of holding anyone accountable. Mistakes can happen. How you handle them matters. In this case, the defensiveness, refusal to accommodate, and dismissive responses from the dentist, the front desk, and the owner were the real problem. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice.
