I recently had an appointment, Friday, March 27th at 4:00. A…read morefew days prior to booking, I called to confirm whether your salon could accommodate a specific request. I explained that I have pink extension hair pieces attached to a hair tie and wanted to know if they could be braided into my hair for an upcoming event. I was told this would not be a problem and was instructed to book a braid service online and add an extension. I was also quoted a price of $48. When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist informed me that she had never worked with this type of extension before and that they typically only use clip-in extensions. While I truly appreciated her willingness to try and her kindness throughout the process, it was clear there had been a miscommunication with the call center. I would have preferred to be told ahead of time that this was not something the salon was familiar with, rather than proceeding with uncertainty during the appointment. Additionally, I was ultimately charged $65 for the service. At no point during the appointment was I informed that the price would differ from what I had originally been quoted. Being charged a higher amount without prior notice was frustrating, especially given the circumstances. Again, the stylists were very kind and did their best, and I appreciate their effort. However, the experience overall was not what I expected due to the miscommunication and lack of pricing transparency. I've written to your business when I was texted to review my experience and I've yet to receive any kind of response or reconciliation of the issue.

I've been a client of Nici for over 6 years now. She has kept my hair beautiful, healthy, and fashion forward (not too trendy) for all these years. I started seeing her with longer blonde highlighted hair - and now recently an ombré graduated asymmetrical bob!! I cannot tell you how sweet, hard working, timely and knowledgable Nici is! She is a high level stylist who has traveled to New York, vegas, LA for classes and conventions since I've known her. Her skill set is broad and she is quite fast! I had a super ugly and faded balayage , my ends were hay-like dried and my hair was in such need of attention. Jennifer cleaned me up, applied a super awesome color on my mane and cleaned up my ends ever so nicely!! Originally I had asked to "just chop it all off!" She asked if I really wanted to cut my hair that short and of course the answer was no but I just didnt think my hair could be brought back to life. Well ... she worked wonders!! This was my first visit to this salon, and unfortunately, it will be my last…read more Shortly before my appointment, I received a call asking if I would be willing to switch stylists to Ericka, I should have know when they said you don't have to she just does not have appointments. Since it was my first visit, I agreed. I showed her actual photos of myself with the haircut I always get, so there was no confusion about the style I wanted. Unfortunately, the haircut I received looked nothing like the photos. The layers are extremely choppy and uneven, and the face-framing section is much thicker and higher than I requested and does not blend well at all. The haircut is so uneven and choppy, I now have no choice but to wait until it grows out enough to get corrected. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this is the first time I have ever gotten home to realize just how bad the cut is, I gave the benefit of the doubt I just needed to style it myself. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking with Ericka. I had high hopes for my first visit but am incredibly disappointed. Reply to Message Received I will be going to another salon, as I no longer feel comfortable returning after this experience. This should never have happened, and I cannot risk any further damage than has already been done. While I understand that your salon does not typically offer refunds, I believe there are circumstances, such as this one, where an exception is warranted. The haircut I received was not what I requested despite providing clear reference photos of my own hair, and the quality of the cut has left me with uneven, choppy layers. A refund would be an appropriate resolution given the circumstances.
