I said I didn't want black and they didnt try at all to go lighter I feel my hair is still dark if not darker. on top of that I was left with dye all over my forehead lol. I really just wanted to leave at that point so I also opted out of the blow dry. So disappointed, had been 6 months since I did my hair and was looking forward to it. I am sure they do great work, but not sure working with dark hair is their strong point.

It's airy and glamorous. It is never too loud or too crowded but always friendly stylists there to greet you. Justina is a pro. Not only is she genuinely a great person, always up on your life and great conversation, she's incredibly talented hair stylist. I followed her to this location by no mistake. It was very important to keep her as her work is unmatched. I've also had my hair cut by Joanna, who also works here. This was when I was crunched for time and Justina had no availability. I did not leave disappointed! The talent is endless at this salon. It's really a lovely experience and I refuse to go anywhere else. You don't get the catty nature of other salons, it's really so very pleasant. I've had, caramel, blonde, and even silver/titanium hair done beautifully by Justina. Older review at her old location from 2014: I found my new salon! I went in and they knew exactly what they were doing without knowing the entire history of my hair. The woman cutting my hair explained the way my cowlicks were and to what extent I should cut my bangs for quick easy ready styling. She listened to exactly what it was I was looking for and then applied her knowledge in a conversation to reach a conclusion that would best suit me PRIOR to starting the cut. They show you before each cut to make sure the length they are taking off is correct and they will not get "scissor happy". Anytime they are going to take more off than you anticipate, it will not be done with out communicating to you prior. I have been going to a top notch salon my entire life and moved 45 minutes away from it. I needed a good cut and quick. I read the other reviews and figured I would give this place a go... Sorry $100 hair cuts... you've been officially replaced! I have been recommending this place to everyone that has complimented my beautiful layers and just in regular conversation. TRY THIS SALON! have been coming here for almost 15 years NEVER will i come here again ... once teresa left the…read moreservices were horrific and careless. today i got called to come earlier than my appointment due to cancelations. i drive over an hour to come each time. i first scheduled with deysi previously big mistake. john took over worse mistake. and it was supposed BOOKED to be a dark rooted ombre. when she realized it wasn't color the last appointment she stopped mid service and said she didnt have time to finish? im not sure if they were overbooked and already couldn't fit me? i still paid $75 john told me to come back that he would finish the incomplete service then charged ANOTHER$130 . I TIPPED HIM $50 ... only to go home to find roots and underneath were missing color and not dyed at all. i had a 3 almost black on red hair... very noticeable... i had strangers telling me! needless to say i had to DRIVE AN HOUR A THIRD TIME JUST TO CORRECT THE ORIGINAL SERVICE AND TO BE EASY I LET HIM DO A BASIC SOLID COLOR DESPITE SPENDING 140+$75 and tip..... 3 months later THIS TIME- i need my color redone. i booked for 5 pm and got a call at about 1:30 that john had cancelations and to head over right away that he will take me sooner. so i changed other scheduled appointments around to attend my hair appointment sooner and moved them later.... thinking i would get in sooner and get out sooner since the receptionist said i would be his next client..... i was in for a solid color dye this time. instead he sis my dye and then circulated me in between clients and other peoples services while i waited in between.. rinsed me out and i reminded him i have an hour to drive in torrential rain.... despite that he did a woman's hair cut while i waited.... claiming the conditioner needed me to sit under the dryer for 30 minutes.... it is almost 5:30 pm at this point..... and as it got darker and the rain was getting worse i started to panic that by time i was done it would be bad driving home.... thankfully he started my hair cut.... then another client walks in and although all i needed was a blow out he claimed i needed to sit under dryer while he did another haircut who just walked in.... another 20-25 minutes... he said to "let my hair get flat" while the conditioning was needed i still wanted volume in my hair rather than a greased down slick look... i was getting the blow out for volume.... he trimmed my bangs but would not dry them so that i could see if they are even/how it is supposed to look. just took other client.... when i explained i had a very long drive and was worried about the rain and that i did not want my hair to be flat he started to become very nasty..... when the client wad finished he took his payment then asked me to finally sit down to be dried because i was sitting there wet waiting just to be blown out..... then noticed the roots are again uneven and lighter than the rest of my hair like again they did not get saturated/coated evenly down to the root... some are red some are dark 3 brown....... im about to cry at this point bc somehow he bacame nasty yelling at me as if it was MY fault that the same careless issue occurred and its been over 3 hours already and it needed to be re-dyed and he left literally no time to fix it... clearly he did did not have time to fix it... so he said just dry it more and see... i chalked it up to a loss that i would just deal with uneven color and get out of there. i simply just asked if he could wet my hair again to put the volume back so its not flat and greasy looking and he responded very nastily.... when i explained that the receptionist told me to come earlier and i arrived at 3:30 i didnt expect to be out almost 3.5 hours and that i moved my earlier appointments to 7:30 pm thinking i would come sooner and he would get me out sooner.... (he instead used the time to do clients in between each step of my service) he said "OH STOP. i cant deal with the aggravation i waited for you.... i do extra time than i should for you.......... (i got there 2.5 jours earlier than my original appointment time) and somehow a 1.5-2 hour service turned into 3 hours... he became so nasty i said ok well i do not have to come back...... he refused to even trim my bangs correctly after cutting chunks out of them.... and honestly this is a blessing in disguise. highlights start centimeters out from root, 3 separate bad dye jobs. 2 appts cur mid service bc of overbooking and a completely lopsided haircut... no service is good because they are burnt out and do not care anymore it was time to leave when owner started blaming clients for careless mistakes during the service while still taking their money. he was tipped $50 in an uneven dye just to claim he gave me a "free service" to dye uneven roots he left the week prior. Deysi got $30 tip just to dye my roots and tell me to come back to finish weeks later. about 8 hours wasted just driving in 6 months . not worth it!
