She is such a vibe and I had one of the best experiences with a hair stylist I've ever had in my adult life. She got to know my hair and made her suggestions (I'm not the greatest with how to direct someone to cut my hair, so that helped a lot! She then cut my hair to the desired length I wanted (right above shoulders) and she taught me how to apply creamy product to help quench my curls and gave me some tips about what to stay away from and what to use. She charges me 9.99 each time and has never upped her price or thrown an extra charge at me like other Santa Cruz haircutters. 2. She KNOWS how to cut hair. Every cut has looked great and I have difficult asian hair. She even recommended some great shampoos and hair routines for a dandruff condition I never knew I had (never saw flakes on my clothes, but she does in my hair). Using them has made a world of difference. 3. She never pushes customers out of her chair to get the next customer in. I really appreciate that she takes her time and does not consider a haircut complete until the customer is satisfied. Then, even if I'm happy with a cut, she'll spot an area that she knows can be done better and the result is an actually perfect haircut.
