We came to Santa Cruz for a sister vacation. The weather weeks before had been STUNNING however for our trip the first three days rained. That's ok a girl can pivot so we decided to do facials. I found Luna Beauty through yelp, and we booked two facials with Alexandra for one hour. Our plan was to go back to back. When we arrived we both wanted to add dermaplane and Alexandra recommended the 90 min oxygen facial. My sister and I agreed so we ended up splitting days. My sister had hers first and she was glowing. My sister said that she and Alexandra chatted a bit but mostly just quiet during the treatment. For me, Alexandra and I had some casual conversation up until the massage point. So if you're a girly who likes silence or a girly who can chat Alexandra will meet the energy. What I liked the most was the heated bed (!!), but mostly and the care Alexandra took to make sure my skin was not reactive. I tend to flush and she was conscientious about that for my treatment. They moved locations and when I booked I accidentally booked with Veronica. She asked me if I wanted to cancel and rebook with Sheila , but I decided to go ahead with her. She was so kind and her treatment was amazing. She also asked me if she could work on my eyebrows. She shaped them and tinted them and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED them. I've been going to Sheila regularly for about 9 months or so. I was never one to book my appointments ahead of time but after a couple visits with Sheila, I began to notice a huge difference in two areas that had bothered me: my hyper pigmentation from my pregnancy and the overall texture of my skin. So now, I'm a regular who looks forward to our appointments. Her studio is cozy, calm, and very clean.
