I've been seeing Loryn for my skin and beauty needs for years. I always look forward to her professional and science based advice for my skin. I love how she is always willing to discuss products, ingredients and what would be best for me. She does my lash tints and lifts perfectly! She does my brow tints and shapes, amazing! When I get a facial, it's truly a treat ‍ Thank you Loryn for your thoughtful care through out the years. P.s. You were right, the airbrush tan is nothing like the old days. The tan you gave me for Hawaii was flawless and natural looking, even on my Philip Seymour Hoffman(rip) skin lol love you! read more

Loryn did my lash lift and along with eyebrow waxing. She's very thorough and takes her time looking at them to see how we'll proceed plus takes pictures before and after. Loryn was so sweet, professional, and did an amazing job! I would highly recommend her!

I won a gift certificate at my gym, Crossfit Up. So, I was lucky enough to use for my first visit with Loryn. My brows are sparse, but every few months I have enough to shape via wax. Loryn shapes them beautifully and gave a quick tutorial on how to easily fill them in with a pencil. I look forward to my next visit with Loryn! read more

Update: I have been going to Loryn for over two years now for monthly facials and my skin is so happy thanks to her! I don't think I could live without my monthly visits to Loryn, she is truly a skin goddess read more

I've been seeing Loryn for a few years now and her facials are just the best. She has a way of putting you at ease and I can totally relax when she's working on my skin. When I heard that she was doing lash lifting and tinting, I was excited to try it out. Loryn explained all the steps to me and check in periodically to make sure my eyes were not tearing. While I was processing, she gave did a scalp massage that completely zenned me out. The final result surpassed my expectations. I don't have to wear mascara and the lift will last much longer that extensions. I loved the tint too. Inky black that made my eyes pop. Go see Loryn for all your skin needs, head to toe. She's outstanding. read more

I've had a lot of facials from many estheticians over the years and I can honestly say that Loryn is one of the best. She's very knowledgeable about skin care and skin care products but isn't pushy about selling hers. She sincerely wants to help you find the best product for your skin type and concerns. As she applied different products during the facial, she let me know what each one was and exactly what it's purpose was. She gave me the best neck and shoulder massage while I was relaxing with the final soothing mask. I will definitely be back. She's a very nice person too! read more

I love coming to loryn for my eyebrows! She asks what kind of shape i'm looking for and works with you to find your shape if your not really sure what your looking for. She does the best job and would highly recommend. read more

Loryn really is, Woohoo! As good as it gets! Her facials are incredible; she is not afraid to really clean the pores, her masks & steam & massage are divine, & her microdermabrasian treatment is da bomb. I highly recommend. She is a wax-master, & always has me in tip-top shape in no time (seriously, she's fast!). She is also super-skilled at spray tanning (in case you're into that sort of thing), & has saved my white tukus on many occasions. She uses wonderful, top-of-the-line products, which I love. And all the while, she'll engage you in interesting conversation (if you care to talk), which makes the experience that much more fun. She just moved to Santa Cruz, so as I go through official Loryn Vyvyn Skin Withdrawl, all you Santa Cruz folk are some lucky slugs. If you are able to book an appointment with her, enjoy... read more

Loryn does the BEST spray tans!! Completely even, no streaks, and looked amazing!!! :)

I have been a client of Loryn's since 2006 and I have always been so impressed by her talents with waxing, lash/brow tinting, and skin care! I drive from the peninsula to see her and I wouldn't think twice about doing so. The results I see after her treatments are beyond worth the drive! Recently she took care of my skin to make sure it was just absolutely glowing and beautiful for my wedding. I had two microdermabrasion treatments before my wedding and my skin seriously never looked better. Smooth, reduced fine lines and pores. I received so many compliments! I always feel so pampered and well cared for when I'm in Loryn's hands. She is intelligent, professional, skilled, caring, and completely genuine. read more

She gives the best facials and eyelash extensions. She's very professional and knowledgeable and we always have a great time chatting during my treatments. She's truly a 5 star! read more

I had a facial from Loryn about 10 days ago and my skin still feels amazing! It is like she uncovered the skin I was supposed to have this whole time. It was so relaxing and revitalizing to boot. She really creates a relaxing spa experience. You walk through a cute 3 chair salon into a little spa haven and completely forget there is anything going on in the outside world. She seemed so knowledgable about everything skin. I'm someone that gets a lot of facials and will spend money on product if it's the right stuff. She answered al my questions without me feeling like she was pushing product which I hate. And she also asked me a ton of questions about my skin routine, which I loved because not many estheticians take the time to do that. She even shaped my eyebrows perfectly and that is something I do not usually let people do! But she nailed it. read more

I've been seeing Loryn for over 10 years. Not only has she transformed my skin but she's also transformed my lashes. Loryn has deep experience and knowledge and I cannot recommend her services enough. Most recently I was able to get a Keratin Lash treatment + tint (my lashes were super damaged from lash extensions) and I don't even have to wear makeup now. I have not put mascara on for 2 weeks. She's also an expert when it comes to waxing. Thank you Loryn for helping me become confident without putting loads of MAC makeup on my face. I am so grateful for you! read more

My younger daughter has issues with black heads and teen acne. Loryn gives her monthly facials and has helped her manage her skin. She is beyond reasonable in cost and has the best products as well. It was so nice to receive a detailed email with an overall evaluation of my daughter's skin and what options would.best suit her needs. read more

I went in and had the BEST eyebrow wax & tweeze I have ever had done. Super thorough and it looks great! Loryn also did a bikini wax and my first ever armpit wax. She is super fast and it really didn't hurt all that much. No break-outs afterwards, which happens a lot with me when the salon uses the cheap wax or doesn't do it right. On top of it, Loryn is super fun to chit chat with and "tells it like it is" which is a girl after my own heart. I will definitely be back! read more

Loryn is great! I've been seeing her since her Teashi days. I am so comfortable with her that I decided to follow her to where she's at now. She's always eager to help with my budget and is very easy-going. I always have great conversation with her. I mainly go to her for my bikini waxing which she makes painless as much as possible. She has a no-tip policy. This shows she's not money-hungry. She also gives a 10% discount if you pay with cash. Love her!! read more

I won a silent auction item at my friend's non-profit fundraiser to Loryn Vyvyan's for a mini-facial. First of all, someone who will happily donate to a non-profit for a few years in a row is already a wonderful soul! Right when I get there, Loryn's calm and soothing demeanor puts me at ease and washes the stress of the day away. You can tell she loves her job, and she loves people. Loryn was incredibly meticulous and thorough during the whole process of cleansing, toning, massaging and exfoliating my face- giving me incredible advice about how to take care of my skin. She was even so generous to give me extractions, although they weren't apart of the mini-facial, as well as send me off with a sample of a great sunblock for my face. It was definitely the best facial I've ever gotten in my life, and I highly recommend Loryn!! I still can't believe how smooth my skin is a few days after. read more

PERFECTION! I've been seeing Loryn for seven years - for every service she offers. She is an expert, and has done wonders for my skin. Waxing is completely painless. She is so professional, and gives amazing skin advice - without trying to push you to buy product you don't need. She's always been respectful of my budget at times when I can only afford one or two products or services, she makes sure I get the most out of my money. She's truly a skin consultant - I've called her on her off hours to make sure a peel is going at the right pace, etc. and without fail she is there to reassure me or advise me for at home continuous care. Apart from providing the most outstanding service of anyone I've EVER seen (.... this, coming from a spa junkie), Loryn is an absolutely delightful, wonderful, and nurturing person. It's totally my "happy space" to go and see her. Last note - her prices are extremely competitive. read more

Every time I receive a facial from Loryn, I feel like the world (especially hers) revolves around the care of my face! I'm confident that she was born to do this. Her touch is confident, skilled, & soothing. She's the kind of aesthetician that does not watch the clock while squeezing tasks in. She cleanses, tones, steams, exfoliates, massages your skin until it looks radiant to her very particular eyes. While washing my face a day after a facial with Loryn, I couldn't believe the texture of my skin. It was smooth in the way I imagine the softest of baby bottom's to be. I literally felt like I had a different face on. I recommend her whole heatedly. read more

Had my first facial with Loryn 2 weeks ago at a recommendation of a friend. Great experience. Loryn not only treated my difficult acne-pron- dry-sensitive skin in a way that made it glow for several days after the visit, but also came up with new cleansing routine for me. After using the serum she recommended for 2 weeks, I am starting to see improvement. Definitely coming back for more facials + expert advice :) Loryn's space is cute and she has the sort of personality which makes anyone feel welcome. She also gives shoulder, hand and foot massages at no extra charge! Last but not least her services are reasonably priced. read more

I recently had my first facial from Loryn and it was AMAZING! She not only has a San Francisco location, but also a super cute spot in Mill Valley. It's really convenient (on E. Blithedale) with easy parking. Her space was extremely clean, plush and inviting. The facial took about an hour and a half and Loryn was working on me the entire time! Even when I was laying with the masks on, she was busy moisturizing and massaging my hands, shoulders, scalp - the whole works! I also like that gratuity is included in the price - makes it that much more affordable. Overall I would describe the experience as warm, relaxing and completely indulgent. Worth every penny and I can't wait to go back! read more

I live in Orange County (the county of spray tans) but was visiting Santa Cruz. I decided to get a last minute spray tan. I went to see Loryn (on a recommendation). She was amazing! I have to say it was the BEST spray tan I've ever gotten! It was even, no streaks and looked SO natural. I got so many compliments on my "tan" when I got back to Orange County. The only negative thing I would have to say, is she doesn't live in Orange County:( When I go back to Santa Cruz, I'm definitely hitting her up again. read more

Loryn provided not only the best wax I've ever had -- if a brazilian wax can in fact be considered a good thing, this is the one -- but also a fabulous facial. I don't do facials very often (those are optional, waxing is NOT) so it was long overdue. She was patient and not at all judgey about my neglect, and I feel like she somehow re-set my skin to where it was supposed to be. She also had some much-appreciated recommendations for products, without doing a hard sell of expensive products. All in all a great experience. Thanks Loryn!! read more
