Our consultant barely conversed with us and acted almost annoyed at our presence. There wasn't even music on in the salon so myself and the bride's party sat there in silence as we waited. And the chairs they offered could use some replacing. I was worried they would break since they clearly were VERY used. All in all, my friend tried on one dress and we were there for a total of 20 min. Our consultant couldn't care less and was very cold. Would never recommend this salon to anyone. Thankfully we had a wonderful experience at Lotus Bridal earlier in the day or else my friend would have been very discouraged. A very bizarre and off-putting experience. Unfortunately (but really Fortunately!) the wedding was cancelled and she forfeited her deposit and the dress. So here we are in 2013. My sister in engaged to someone else (thank God) but was hesitant on returning to the store fearing the uncomfortable encounter. However, we did go in and the owner and saleswoman actually remembered us and were extremely gracious and helpful. They also remembered our previous dealings and were nothing but sweet and understanding about the entire ordeal. I was very clear about it being a wedding and Joe and I had even discusses using the two limos to shuttle guests between the ceremony and reception locations. He quoted me a price and we had a lovely conversation. After thinking about it for couple of weeks (to see if we really had room in our budget for limos),I called him to set up an appointment to look at the cars. Today I went to meet Joe to see the cars and he raised his prices by 50%. He "apologized" for the "misunderstanding", but that he "would never have quoted that price for a wedding." His regular rates were what he quoted me, not his wedding rates. When I asked him the difference between a "wedding" package and the regular rates, he said that the bar is fully stocked, the driver is in a tux, and there is an aisle runner. I told him I didn't want all those extras and he still refused to come down TO THE PRICE HE QUOTED ME. He said (extras or no extras), that's the price for a wedding. Then I said, "Ok, then I want to hire limos for a family party." To that, he said, "And when we show up, and you're in a wedding dress?" He point blank told me I had to pay him more simply because it was a wedding. I told him he was BS and walked out. These are not honest, trustworthy people. They do not have any sense of integrity. He saw a woman he thought he could take advantage of and tried to bully me into signing with him. Unfortunately for him, he failed. Edited to respond to below: Lana - I didn't call Elegant Transportation, I called Elegant Affairs and Bridal Center. Your company is listed as a "One Stop Shop" - The sign on the building I walked into was "Elegant Affairs and Bridal Center". Even if it is true that the different departments are different companies, they are all a reflection of you and your company. In addition, Joe made the claim that he owned the entire building (the one that says "Elegant Affairs and Bridal Center" in large letters on the side) However, I will look up "Elegant Transportation" and post this review there as well.

Whatever you think you are ordering is not what you will receive. The bridal vendor is nice but all her dresses are made overseas and once you receive your item it is totally not what you expected. The hairstylist vendor is uneducated and ignorant. She can only do minimal work. When she opens her mouth it is evident that she didn't go to cosmetology school. The invitation and wedding planning vendor are nice but with all the other vendors it isn't even worth it to come here. Overall, I would not recommend anyone do business with this company. They are greedy and all they care about is ripping you off and making money. I wish more people wrote reviews on companies like this, I would have never wasted my time and money here.

Finally, they failed to set everything up on time despite having advance notice, so we had to delay the entire wedding for around 45 minutes to an hour for them to finish setting up. If you want your wedding ruined, pick these guys. If you want your wedding to go well, pick someone else. Afterward, they were completely unrepentant and unapologetic about it. When my mom left a negative review, they threatened legal action if she didn't take it down. Well, I'm not scared of their threats. If you guys want to sue me, reach out and I'll give you my address so you can effect service of process. I would *love* to litigate the accuracy of this. EDIT: the owner has responded claiming that this review is not true, but the pictures speak for themselves. She is lying. Imagine what else she is lying about. The owner doesn't even know me - we've never interacted and she's never heard my name. Message me if you would like more information. Do yourself a favor - read through her reviews. Many of them are positive, but quite a few are negative - I'm not the only one saying this. Finally, look how often she calls people liars, unstable, immoral, etc. when they complain about her. Ask yourself this: do you want to be the one she's one day calling an unstable, immoral liar on here after she screws up your own wedding? This is how she talks about the people who complain when she drops the ball and ruins a wedding. Maybe one day it'll be how she talks about you.
