Yesterday, I held my son's celebration of life there, and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect: the venue, the staff, and the overall experience. Although I live in Dover, DE, I was more than willing to make the trip because I knew how special the place was and felt it would be the perfect setting for such an important occasion. The kitchen staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The event space was clean, peaceful, and just right for the day. We felt safe and cared for, and the beautiful grounds added a sense of serenity that meant so much to us. While I don't drink and can't speak much about bartending, I have to say, our bartender may have been the best ever. Thank you for providing such a beautiful, comforting space for my family to gather, remember, and begin to heal. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a venue for a gathering.

Admission was reasonable and enjoyed the self-guided part while waiting for the next tram departure time. There was everything you could imagine - except one thing! A TELEX MACHINE (which I used to operate). When I asked the staff if they had one none of them even knew what I was talking about (early 20's)! We took the tram tour and really enjoyed it. The tram moved at a nice pace so you could really take in everything. So much to see - everywhere. It was a really fun way to spend a few hours on a rainy day! But I urge you to visit rain or shine!

The tram car goes at a super slow speed so you have time to take everything in. The tour is guided by a pre-recorded audio track but sometimes the driver will provide information as well. The museum also has a small walkable area to explore. There's also popcorn, candy, and drinks to purchase. Some of the items are truly impressive and there's definitely plenty for everyone to point out and find and enjoy. Highly recommend this fun attraction.

I enjoyed the layout and course conditions. My only gripe would be the 18th hole which you can't hit driver on....thats no way finish a round. (If they cut down a tree on the right side and allowed for a driver it would be a much better finishing hole)

Great Course. I was invited by a good friend who is a member. This is a private Club. I have played…read morethe Course a few times in the past. It has undergone some major changes in landscape. They have removed hundreds of trees opening up the Course and providing more wide open vistas, especially from the clubhouse terrace. The view from the Clubhouse veranda is fabulous. You can see the LuLu Clubhouse, a neighboring Club, in the distance. The original trolley is still operational. It takes your bags and you up to the Clubhouse from the 18th & 9th greens while caddy's take the carts around up the long winding cart paths. All very quant and old timey. The layout is challenging with many changes in elevation and some very challenging greens. The greens are impeccable although I remember them being even faster. The rough was a bit harsh. Very easy to lose your ball if you do not keep your tee shot on the fairways. A bit windy on our day otherwise conditions were perfect. We never felt pushed and never caught up to any group in front. Caddy master explained they space each group 15 minutes apart. Very nice and quite a change from the 5-7 minute spacing at some public Courses. The staff are wonderful. Friendly, accommodating and always ready to assist. We had a bite to eat after the round. The food is higher end Country Club. Playing here is a real treat as I no longer have a private club membership myself. If you can get on the Course I highly recommend it. Mark.
