One thing that really stood out was the complimentary coat and bag check, such a nice touch and made everything feel easy and well-organized. We ordered a charcuterie board to snack on. Some parts were good, like the hummus, which was smooth and flavorful. A few of the veggies, though, seemed a little less fresh than expected, like the carrots and cucumbers, which were softer and a bit dry instead of crisp. The pita was also slightly on the dry side. It might have just been an off batch, but worth noting. Service overall was very attentive. At times, dishes and drinks were cleared a bit quickly--especially while I was in the middle of playing ping pong--but it really just reflects how prompt and on-top-of-things the staff are. On the flip side, they also help collect stray ping pong balls and keep buckets refilled, which makes the whole experience much smoother and more fun. Overall, it's a great spot for a night out with friends. You're really coming here for the ping pong and the energy, and on that front, it definitely delivers.

We came recently as paying customers on a double-date and had a great time again. If you're playing ping pong you can eat and play at the same time, but it's a little awkward because there's only so much room for your food. Overall, the food was pretty good. Nothing amazing. Well, except for the grilled Korean chicken sandwich; that was the highlight. Other dishes like the fries and the burger, per my husband-- were just simply passable. The truffle fries were much better than the ones that showed up with my sandwich, which by the way I had no idea came with the dish. So, I paid for fries twice. The ambiance is cool, very instagrammable, but it is super loud. I don't know how anyone could talk to each other. Cool if you're playing ping pong and just hanging, but don't think you're going to catch up with an old friend here. Not unless they have a more subdued experience earlier in the day. We came on a Saturday night and I had to be right up on my friend to hear her.

The current exhibition on Shaker furniture was interesting, but I can see how it's not for everyone. I appreciate what they're doing at the ICA, I just wish there was a bigger permanent collection on display. Shoutout to Juno the welcoming cat.

We stopped by on our visit to the University of Pennsylvania to specifically see the Joanna Piotrowska: unseeing eyes, restless bodies We didn't think we would spend as much time as we did here, and I loved both of the exhibits. There are two gallery spaces, the first one held "Where I Learned to Look: Art from the Yard", with the curator and several artist being from Texas. I'm not sure I loved it because there was a Texas connection and also Baltimore screen art, but I really enjoyed art from a yard perspective. Fun contemporary art and a Koons piece. The second story held the second exhibit: Joanna Piotrowska: unseeing eyes, restless bodies. She's a Ukrainian artist, and I really thought it was going to be something different but it was a really cool exhibit. I have never seen carpet and space used this way before and her art evoked both fear and whimsy and awe. I love this museum and the fact that it's really quaint - obviously the experience you're going to have here depends on what exhibits are showing, but I had a great time here overall. It's completely free so if you're ever by the University of Pennsylvania, I highly recommend you stop by.

We requested no pork before we arrived as a dietary restriction. Ms. Leslie and her team took very good care or us. I had the Ginger Lemon Roibois Tea, My companions had the Wakanda Tea and the Kenyan Black Tea. We arrived early for the 1 pm Seating. Upon entry the tables were prepared with the cotted cream and lemon clotted cream. This accompanied the chocolate chip scone that they said what just freshly baked. They also offered us infused rosemary water. All of the setting was adorable. The little cup the honey came in and thr Tea timer were very nice accents. When the Baring High Tea selections arrived we got a nice variety. I agree with a previous reviewer who thought the curry chicken sandwich would have been better if it was hot and not cold. However, the other savory items tasted good. This included the turkey brie on bread and deviled eggs. The sweet treat spread included brownie, bread budding, lemon tart with a blueberry, pound cake loaf flavored treat with strawberry garnish. A very nice high tea experience and great service.

I didn't want the turkey sandwich, they didn't have a problem giving me another deviled egg instead. The highlight for me was the deviled eggs. I enjoyed my tea. The service was pleasant.
