Namaste! I can't write enough good things about this studio. The instructors are fantastic & each has their own style which keeps me challenged & learning. I'm new to Yoga. I began my practice in October 2014. I feel super comfortable as a beginner here. There are Yogis of every level taking classes in this studio. They have a wide range of classes & services- Tai Chi, meditation, massage, counseling, hot yoga, restorative yoga, just to name a few. The prices are really good & I've never regretted the decision receive instruction for my practice here. Love! Love! LOVE this place! read more

I'm so glad I found Studio 8. I took a class with at least 4 different instructors and loved each one. I have since moved out of the area and did not realize how much I would miss yoga at Studio 8. The prices were great and the amount of classes/class times offered would fit any schedule. read more

Specialties

We provide beginner yoga, hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, yoga for therapy, family yoga and kids yoga, meditation, reiki, deep tissue massage, swedish massage, and tai chi to improve the overall well being and health of the individual. Instructional classes are taught by certified instructors providing hands-on adjustments through yoga postures, breathwork and meditation. We also provide yoga, reiki and well-being workshops, one-on-one classes and free community classes. All instructional classes are only $8. No pre-registration or membership is required.

Established in 2012.

This studio was established in January 2012 in an effort to bring wellness, fitness and yoga to the Huntington community.

Meet the Business Owner: Joan S.

Joan is a 200-hr registered yoga instructor who had been teaching yoga out of her home for several years. She wanted to open her class to the community, and provide the community with access to various levels and styles of yoga, in a studio where yogis can come together to practice and share experiences. Joan wishes to share the benefits that yoga has brought to her life with others in hopes that they can experience these benefits as well.

Being a man, I try to stay to myself and give the sense of respect, but these teachers all have made me laugh out loud in class. I've taken two Vinyasa classes; One with Terri, and another with Ivana. Both are phenomenal, with understandable active and descriptive commands. Very very pleasurable experience. I thought it was pleasurable enough to give 'em a shout out, here on Yelp. One more Heated Flow class with Katrina tomorrow before I take off for home. Thank you! *side note* Thank you Ivana, for kickin' my ass with that 60 second Utkatasana. I'm still feelin' it!
