Vulnerable post! A couple of weeks back I went to get my hair redone because it was due for a balayage retouch but at this point it has been months so I had to get it basically redone. And after doing my due diligence of researching some places nearby, I found another aesthetician who ruined my hair. Not only did I sit in her chair for eight hours but I also walked out with a $200 hair note and a fucked up hair situation. It was completely messed up. Needless to say, I was in DESPERATE need of some immediate hair repair. I called THIS SALON AND CRIEDDD on the phone to Jordan, who was kind enough to take me in and take care of me last minute without an appointment. Jordan not only did she only fix my hair, but she was also super kind and understanding of my situation. She deserves a fucking EMMY FOR BEST HUMAN EVER I swear. I had a very traumatic experience at this place. I went here for a trim and the 1st hairdresser cut it too short. I called the salon back to complain and I went back for a "fix". The 2nd hairdresser wasn't much better and told me to come back for a free haircut. Not too mention the atmosphere was very tense after I expressed my dissatisfaction. I don't know if they just aren't comfortable working with dark, coarse hair or what?! I refuse to go back to this place again! Even a free visit wouldn't get me back. read more

Couple days back I have gone hear to do layer cut with Jordan Niland. The reason to give 3 star, asked her to do Layer cut with Deep U. she did couple layers like two, which is OK for me. But it did not come Like Deep U, she did semi U only in the Bottom. It is not bad. but little more trim would be better. read more

I love that they use the wax that does not use the fabric strips. It is much gentler on skin and does not cause me even any redness. The last time I went, they had changed ownership, and apparently some standards. I couldn't help notice that most of their long time stylists have left for greener pastures. For awhile, I often received emails to the effect that someone left. The last time there, I had an appt for an eyebrow wax. I entered the room for my face wax, and the vinyl top of the bed was filthy. I mentioned that it looked like someone had their shoes all over it and it needed cleaning. The operator giggled and says, it happens. She took her hand and merely wiped off some of the dirt. She then said, "Well lay down; your head won't be there, so it shouldn't matter." I went ahead and laid down against my better judgement, knowing that I had not been able to find another salon that uses that wax. The operator I used to have who left, did my eyebrows perfectly. Mine tend to be wider than a lot of women's, but she would shape them so I was not constantly having to pluck to make them thin, and they still looked really good. I asked this operator to do the same. Instead, I ended up with very skinny eyebrows, and told her that was exactly what I said I didn't want. She said, "Oh well, they'll grow back." Another thing is that the owner has no issue with her employees bringing their children to work with them when school is out. Two times now, it sounded more like a daycare center in their back room, than a place of business. Of course the girls who have children remarked that the owner was so nice to let them bring them to work, and how the former owner was so mean because she would not allow it ever. I am always sad when a good business lowers their standards. Perhaps that is why they now are constantly sending emails stating all of the days they are wide open for appointments, and also offering specials to get people to book appointments. read more

Following an initial consultation with Roberto, I scheduled an appointment with him for highlights, lowlights and a cut. I had photos of the color and cut that I wanted. Roberto claimed he could provide the exact color and cut in the photos. I am grating and he could take the gray out. The photo of the hair color was mine one year ago prior to relocating here. I had let my hair grow out several inches for the new cut. Prior to starting the process, Roberto and I reviewed the photos of the cut and the color. I questioned him with regards to the finished length and he indicated he would be trimming my hair 1 - 1 1/2 inches. However, the finished cut took 4 - 4 1/2 inches off my hair. I can no longer even pull my hair back into a pony tail it's so short. Unfortunately for me, Roberto was so busy teaching another hairdresser the process he was doing that he didn't listen to what I wanted. As a result, I hate both the cut and color. My husband had an appointment on the same day to cut his hair and Roberto left a serious burn on his neck. I contacted Ginny on the same day after my husband arrived home and she offered up a small consolation of a $35.00 credit in her salon on a bill of $280.00 that we spent there. She wanted me to let Roberto repair the color. However, I prefer he never touch my hair again after botching it so badly. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I contacted Ginny to discuss this further following the weekend, however, she didn't have time to talk with me because she was very busy answering telephone calls on Tuesday morning. When she did finally return my call, she preferred to accuse me of having 'buyers remorse' and that I was trying to get my money back when in her opinion they did a good job. What? If I'm the one paying $280.00, shouldn't I be the one that is happy and likes my hair cut and color? Who operates a business in such a manner? It's obvious to me that this business owner is not about 'repeat' clientele, because she had two potential clients and dealt with both very poorly. read more

I can always count on an awesome cut and color from this salon! I have changed my style many times and never been disappointed. Alison is my typical stylist and she does an excellent job. A few times she hasn't been available and I have had other stylists who have always also done a good job. I just recently had an updo done here for a wedding and I was thrilled with the result, I'm already looking for another excuse to get an updo :) I also like the booking online option for the salon, and the text reminders, both are very helpful with my busy schedule. read more

We were given a reasonable price, then received a call 3 days later advising that the price would be 158 dollars more than the original quote. I'm not sure what the point of having the consultation was, definitely not the way to get business. read more

I came here to see Jordan Niland a few months ago for color and cut. When I initially walked in the front was so welcoming. She came and introduced herself and was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted. I've never gotten a balayage done before so I was a little nervous to see how it was going to turn out. She did an absolute phenomenal job!!!! The color stayed for the longest time, like months after she did my hair where as usually it would wash away when I'd go elsewhere. I had a really positive experience here. Roberto did a great job and he is a total sweetheart. I called and was able to get in the next day, the owner was very friendly and personable she informed me of their referral programs and rewards program. They have a nice referral program. A couple of the other reviewers mentioned that the rest of the staff wasn't super friendly, but I did not notice that at all. They were all perfectly nice and polite. The rest of the staff didn't gush all over you, but I don't need that type of thing. If you like the gushing, you may want to find a different salon. It was clean and had a nice, sort of laid back vibe of an atmosphere. I love that they are a Paul Mitchell salon and I really can't say enough about Roberto - his work was wonderful and he is just a doll. I have long hair with highlights, and he did a perfect job. Diddie is the only hairstylist that has always listen to what I'm looking for, and executed it precisely. Everyone @ Studio 720 is always kind and friendly. Diddie always makes me feel fabulous. Phyllis is an angel and I look forward to her smile every time I walk through the door. As far as the lady that called her an ugly name for a simple mistake, it's unfortunate that you are so hateful and unhappy with "Laurel" your stylist, that you would attack such a sweet human being on yelp. I had set up an appointment on Saturday. Came in on my scheduled date. I even rushed from work and they didn't have me down. They said it was some mistake but it's frustrating when you schedule an appointment and think you'll actually get a hair cut on a certain day and it doesn't happen. Very disappointed that I had set aside time to make it, and it just didn't work out. It's not on the stylists, it's really on whoever I spoke with to schedule the appointment. I know this place has good reviews but, it's under new ownership. Beware!!!! I just moved to this part of the country & my old stylist told me to find a Paul Mitchell salon. I picked this place & it's nice & clean but my hair is wrecked!! I gave Lauren my formula & the first time I went the color came out like I expected since she was told what to use but my cut was horrible! I'm a nice person so I decided that maybe it was my fault & that I didn't communicate properly. I left the 2nd time with Orange hair!! Like a pumpkin it was horrible!! She didn't use my formula. She made one up. Lauren has no experience with Paul Mitchell products. She kept talking about Aveo products. And the owner is a complete dingbat. She said I was checked in & I sat for 10 minutes & my phone rang asking me when would I be arriving for my appointment. I said I'm sitting right in front of you. OMG. Steer clear!!! read more

It's been a few my days since my butchering here and I was just going to move on and not waste my time with a review, but each day I am just more and more mortified by how my hair looks. Anyone that has ever been to a Paul Mitchell Salon, focused or otherwise knows this usually means a great experience, that is not the case here. I always bring pictures, not random pictures of cuts I'd like to have but pictures of my cut on my head. (I even brought pictures to my Paul Mitchell stylist in California that had been cutting my hair for quite some time, as a reminder.) I have close ups, I tell the stylist what I liked and didn't like, it's not complicated...just look at the pictures and listen to me. The sides of my hair can not be cut very short or it will not look good and I will hate it. I always explain this to the stylist, including touching the hair and showing where I want it to hit along the jawline. ALL of this information was basically ignored!!! Especially the sides. My thick, substantial and edgy sides are now beyond too short, the point that followed my jawline is now gone! Nothing left but a faint wisp of hair that barely goes past my earlobe. By the end of the day the sides stick out and look so stupid. I am also not thrilled with the back, but at least I don't have to look at that all the time. I will give her credit for at least getting the bottom of the back of my hair right. There was also a misunderstanding when I scheduled the appointment and she thought I was going to do color as well. As soon as she found out that I wasn't, she had to go do something at the front desk. Then about halfway through the cut she left again to use the "bathroom", I was left just sitting there for way too long as she stopped on the way back from the "bathroom" to talk to someone. I got the overall feeling that once I became just a cut, she would have preferred to have been able to keep whatever plans she had before my appointment was booked a couple of days earlier. I'm just thankful that at the last second she decided she didn't want to do my eyebrows!!!! **In response to the owner. I'm sorry that my review ruined her perfect record, life is not perfect. I do not understand how there could have been ANY miscommunication when she was looking at pictures of MY hair cut. Thank you for responding, I know it was a hard pill to swallow.*** read more

Just a little follow up.. The owner has posted on a community forum that she did not refund my money because I didn't ask for a refund. So, I went back and told the owner I wanted a refund, her response was- No if yiou don't leave I will call the police! So if you need a quality hair cut, DO NOT COME HERE. however if you would like to pay some $50 + to have your hair burned about a half inch from the roots! then by all means these guys can do a FANTASTIC job. read more

As an owner, I would hope you would want the business. Yes, I did go to Great Clips for the trim I needed. Did I need you to suggest other businesses to accommodate me? Nope. Ginny, I read your response a few months ago, decided to ignore it because it wasn't worth a response back. However, in the last few months following my review, I've had potential buyers and customers ask me about my experience and even those who, like me, felt that your facility was not worth going to. It must be really hard keeping the place open when customers are contacting me and telling me that Allyson made the experience terrible. Just a thought, but I'd kind of rethink the way you run your business because it is catching up to you. read more

I tend to drift from one salon to another because I wait until I absolutely NEED a hair cut before making an appointment, but I keep coming back to Roberto at Studo 720. Without a doubt, he gives me the best cut because I have to do so very little to style it on a daily basis, but it still looks fantastic. What puts him over the top, though, is the the shampoo - he gives the best massage I've ever had! I also love the online scheduling on their site. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 star is that I don't find the rest of the staff to be particularly personable and welcoming. read more

This Salon is amazing! I go to Roberto who is a MASTER at doing hair. My hair always looks natural and the color lasts for months. I don't need touch ups for at least 3 months. It also feels amazing. I don't know how he does it but he can keep most of my length while giving me a cut that cleans up my dead ends. My hubby goes to Ellen and is so happy to have finally found someone who can consistently give a great hair cut. Some of the stylists are booked up for many weeks in advance because they are in demand. Get your appointment on the books. The owner Ginny is so kind too. I really love this salon! For the most part the salon has been pretty good but recently my daughter went there for a whole new look in to her surprise she wanted she went back for another retouch and made it worse and to top it all off they wanted a charger again she was a complete tears and saddened about her disappointment of her hair. I've been to the salon before, about a year ago, and it was ok.. I took my daughter in recently, and they've made some nice changes. The stylist we normally use was no longer there.. so we tried Jordan. She is ah-mazing!! She listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions and delivered. I've struggled for over a year to find a stylist who could fix a bad color and recreate a hard to achieve color. I don't have to look any longer! The salon is fabulous. Owner called me to let me know they might not have the exact color I was looking for but that they would try, she switched me to a stylist who would be a better fit for me after she heard my concerns about finding the right color, and she still got me in I my scheduled time! Jessi is new to the salon but comes with some great experience, she was fabulous to talk to, the owner and other stylists were very friendly, and I got a new client discount! Yay! I have long hair so finding a stylist that does a good job can be a struggle. I've had some very bad experiences with hair cuts. Studio 720 Salon has been my salon of choice now for two years. Alison always does an amazing job. And if I don't like something (the bangs or even the color) it is fixed to my satisfaction and I've never been charged extra. She is friendly and always takes the time to talk to me about what I want done and then clarifies to make sure what will be done is what I want. read more
