I had to come and give Jen Park a 5 star review because I got three comments on my hair today from complete strangers! That has never happened before. I've seen Jen for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier. Thank you for making me have the best hair day!! read more

After years of moving, and changing hair salons I found the best of all! I see both Jenifer Park, and Lindsay Florek at Studio 486. In seven years I've never been disappointed. I've even sat there watching them shuffle their people around to accommodate their clients. Class, professional, and personable! Thank you Studio 486! read more

Lindsey did an amazing job on my spray tan! Everyone kept commenting on how tan I looked and didn't realize it was a spray tan until I told them. The color came out really natural and just looked like I had gone to the beach a few more times than I have this summer. read more

Love this cute boutique studio- all the girls are so nice. LOVE, LOVE Jen Draeger- she always finds a way to accommodate your schedule and her coloring techniques leave my hair with the most deep rich hues! Her signature round brush blow dry method is such a great exposition. You would think the 1-lane parking would be an issue with how popular this studio is, but I have never had a problem finding a spot. read more

I came across this Salon on Groupon and I'm ecstatic that I did! My former wax professional moved to Morocco with her new family and I was having a hard time finding a replacement. Enter Lindsay Florek! She was friendly, quick and painless. But the real test came weeks after my bikini wax. Two weeks later and I'm relatively hair free! This means that Lindsay did an excelled job of removing the hair root. I think she has many years experience and it shows. Another plus is that when I saw the Groupon I called to make sure I could get an appt. with Lindsay during my time off. Lindsay quickly checked her schedule and offered to honor the Groupon without me actually having to purchase it online. I know it's small but she saved me a couple of clicks and time, which as a student is paramount! Thank you, Lindsay :) I will definitely be coming back and will be raving to my girlfriends about you. read more

Best spray tan ever!!! Lindsay is seriously amazing!! Not only is she professional and super sweet, she strives to really understand your tan needs and customizes each tan for each occasion. I have super vampire white skin and most spray tans either turn me orange or don't really work. This tan not only is super natural looking, it dries so fast and doesn't smell!!! Also, if you moisturize daily the tan can last a week+! Fades super gracefully- no splotchy spots. I'm so thankful to have found this perfect tan!! Thanks Lindsay!!! read more

I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year when I went to Studio 486 and still I was hesitant to let someone take any length off of it because I had been working so hard to grow it out! The woman who cut my hair listened to me and did exactly what I wanted! She just trimmed it up and gave it a little more style. The salon was clean and decorated well. I definitely recommend coming here for a solid cut and relaxing environment. read more

I can't say enough about the experience I have had with Laura over the 2 decades she has been doing my hair! I love how she is always on the cutting edge and never afraid to try something new. If she recommends it, she has tried it and believes it is the best. I love that! I am a busy, working mom and don't have time to research all of the newest techniques and trends. I count on her to give me the best advice for my hair and she always delivers. For that, I am grateful! Thank you for all you do. It is a great to see you every 4 weeks (tons of grey). You know how to make a girl feel special. read more

Okay so Lindsay is amazing. I went in for a spray tan, i saw the groupon. I told her i didn't want to be orange at all because i'm so fair skinned and she assured me i wouldn't be ( this was my first spray tan ever ). She was quick and made me so comfortable. Super easy to talk to & down to earth. I also let her know i was going to get sugared 2 days after the spray tan and she told me that wasn't a good idea and told me she could give me a brazilian right before I did the spray tan (which i've never done either) i've only been sugared. & this brazilian was like the most painless & quickest thing ever, WAY better than sugaring. She seriously exceeded my expectations & i don't think i'll ever go anywhere else. I had the best experience! Thanks Lindsay :) read more

Lindsay is amazingggg! Love coming here! She's the best at what she does! Easy to make appointments and beautiful studio!

Lindsay was amazing! The was took 10 min and it was pain free and so clean. I'm very very happy with the results! Definitely planning to continue to coming to Lindsay for all waxes. Thanks Lindsay!! read more

Best salon in OC! I see Jessica, amazing stylist! Also recommend Brandi or Jenn P...totally recommend the Airbrush Spray Tanning gets me every-time! read more

This salon has cancelled our hair appointment more times than it has kept it with hardly any notice. Poor customer service . Lots of other salons in the area that are more reliable.. read more

Bought a Groupon for a Brazilian wax at midnight, got an appt the next day and Lindsey got me in and out in less than 10mins! How awesome is that? The girls are very nice, the salon is clean and neat looking. Lindsey was very efficient and professional, not to mention so pretty. This is one of the best experiences. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I love this place! I first went for Lindsay to get a Brazilian wax from a groupon offer and she did an amazing job! Totally professional and Made me feel very comfortable. And now I'm not going anywhere else :) read more

I had a great experience this past week at studio 486. My appointment was with Lindsay for a Brazilian wax. Fastest wax job I've ever had, also pretty painless. I LOVE how she gets it all the first time. No re waxing. Very clean studio, no double dipping. The waxing room is very private. I really appreciate her advice on products and the best way to exfoliate. I've been using the body brush she recommended for a few days now and WOW what a difference it makes for clogged hair follicles. read more

I'm so happy I found this little gem. Very clean, relaxing and beautiful salon. Nicole is the best!! I was looking for "cream soda blonde" and she gave me the exact shade I wanted. (That never happens!) I'm a new mom and she always takes into consideration that I probably won't be in every 6 weeks (sometimes I go 3 months!!) to touch up my highlights. My hair even looks great in between visits. Highly recommend! read more

Jenn Draeger is absolutely wonderful! I moved to Newport Beach about two years ago and was mourning the loss of my previous hairdresser. After a few (very expensive) mis-steps, I found Jenn through a friend and am so glad I did. She is extremely flexible with my erratic work hours and can always find time to squeeze me in. My haircuts grow out perfectly and I even recently trusted her to cut 6 inches off my long hair which hadn't changed in 8 years! I never hesitate to recommend Jenn to my friends for her great and affordable haircuts! read more

I got my haircut a couple of months ago by Jenn Draeger. She did an amazing job!! I didn't even have to do anything to my hair for a couple of days, which was wonderful!. She's really nice and funny, and makes you feel like you've known her for years. The salon is clean with a chic style. The price is in line with the surrounding area. Best part is that the price includes blowout and style. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when salons don't include that in the price and then charge a bunch extra for it. Will definitely go back! read more

I was unhappy with my hairdresser and was nervous about looking for a new one...so many choices and, like most women, I'm really particular about my hair. I bought a Groupon for blowouts with Chelsea at Studio 486 and I'm so glad I did! She is so sweet and personable, and made me feel comfortable right away. After a couple of blowouts with Chelsea, I felt ready to commit and try a cut/color with her. She listened to me and did her own research on Pinterest to get ideas for my hair. I have never had a hairdresser take the initiative like that, usually they just wait for you to bring photos and tell them what you want. I was so impressed, and felt like she took the time to really invest in what I had said (i.e., she listened!). I was so happy with my cut/color and I'm now a 100% Team Chelsea enthusiast. She's amazing, please go see her if you are looking for someone like I was. Additionally, the salon is clean, has nice decor and you have your choice of many beverage options. read more

I have been coming to Jessica at Studio 486 to have my hair done for over 7 years. She's been my hair stylist, therapist and friend. She always leaves me feeling beautiful and amazing! She's without a doubt the best hair dresser I've ever had! Lindsay has been waxing me for 5 years and is absolutely an artist. She's waxed me through two pregnancies and is always so positive and encouraging. Before I met her I could not find a good and dependable person to do my Brazilian wax and now I would never see anyone else!! I'm thankful to call her my friend as well. When Jessica is away I've also had the pleasure of having Jen do my hair. She is so fun and talented. She stays up on the latest hair cuts and color techniques and can do the most amazing things with your hair. She is amazing! She's also a makeup artist and can create the most epic hair and makeup looks for a special day for you. I myself am a mother of two and in the beginning when my daughter was a newborn I found the 'no kids in the salon' rule annoying, especially when I had to breastfeed my newborn in my car and switch her with my husband. However, as a lawyer I absolutely understand the huge liability of having young children in a salon. And now as a busy mother of two I absolutely adore my time in a nice clean, quiet kid free area with my glass of champagne and no interruptions from the kids. This salon is not a place for kids and we all know that coming to this salon. That's frankly one of the best parts about this classy Newport Beach salon. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thank you Studio 486 for everything!! read more

Love this place! I get my hair done with Nicole Frazier. She's awesome. She listens to me, offers suggestions and never disappoints. I'm a brunette with highlights. I completely trust her with my hair and any changes I want to try. The salon is adorable and has great energy. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Studio 486 is adorable! And Stephanie is THE BEST! The best colorist an stylist I've ever had. Love the products that they carry at 486 as well! I highly recommend Stephanie Winter and Salon 486!!! read more

Lindsay did my airbrush tan. I love it. Tan but not fake looking. I'll be back for sure.

Got my haircut here because a friend of mine told me about the WOW factor. I didn't know what it meant until he told me, "it's whenever your experience keeps exceeding itself within the same experience." I didn't quite understand what he was talking about so I went to try it out. WOW WOW WOW now I know what the WOW factor is.. This place welcomes you from beginning to end with an amazing haircut!! I give my whole hearted recommendation to Studio 486!! read more

Love this place, Debra is the best and I recommend her to the world. Wait, maybe not, she already is too busy. No really, she is the best but the truth is that they service and the vibe from everyone is awesome. read more

Studio 486 is an adorable salon with a friendly and welcoming staff! I have been going to Lindsay for over a year now to get Brazilian waxing. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is! She manages to make the whole process as quick and pain-free as possible. I went because I bought the Groupon and have never turned back. :) read more

Really cute, clean place that's kinda weird to find. Lindsey does the waxing, which is what I go for. She does a great job and is super sweet, and the best is that she's so fast! She gets you in and out really quickly! read more

Lindsay does the best spray tans! She is super friendly and very professional! I've been here twice and both times my tans were beautiful, not blotchy at all! I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Never going anywhere else to get my hair done! Shawntelle is by far the best stylist I've had and the staff are pretty incredible too.

Lindsay is the best ever! I used a groupon a few months ago, wasn't expecting to be blown away but was happy about the deal. Lindsay totally exceeded my expectations. She is wonderful. The salon is super cute, the waxing room is great-she plays music and everything is super clean. Lindsay is really efficient, and my wax was more painless and longer-lasting than any I've had before (and I've tried a lot of places). I won't be going anywhere else in OC for waxing. read more

The remodel makes this salon super cute. A little too small for me, but very functional. Love Alexis, she is very nice, quick and timely for cuts and color. read more

I love Studio 486! I've been coming here for over 8 years and I've ALWAYS had a fantastic experience. I had been looking for a convenient stylish salon because I needed a change and had been purchasing my products from them so I thought, let's see what they have to offer. I called them and said I have long hair with highlights and asked if they could recommend someone. They recommended Brandy and I've been a customer ever since! I regularly have people ask me where I get my hair done and I always tell them: Studio 486! They truly are the best salon in OC! read more

5 stars for Lindsey!!! First off let me say I'm very picky and particular when it comes to spa services and she did not disappoint. She was very professional but super nice as well. I'm a religious waxer and it was perfect!! No pain and very fast!! I usually go to the pretty kitty but this was just as good if not better. I like Lindsey because she is a small business owner, down to earth, and a great waxer. The salon itself is very nice as well, I did get a little lost but found it. Over all I had a great first time experience!! I wish I would've bought the 2 waxes on groupon though because she was great!! read more

Lindsey is super nice and like mentioned on other reviews super easy to talk to. She informed me while waxing ways to clear up my in grown hairs and scarring. I wasn't able to get the products today but definitely have put it in the budget for next time. I bought the group on for 2 Brazilians, she uses cloth strips instead of the usual I want to say paper isn material. This was my first time experiencing the cloth and I have been getting Brazilians waxes for at least 4 years now. She also recommended ways to extend the time between my waxes which is very considerate. And she also gives you oil on cloth at the end to clean up any left over wax I believe this should be standard but I have been to many places that do not clean up the wax afterwards so its helpful. Definitely excited to go back and get the products. I will write another review for the second visit and if the products worked after buying them! So I went back for my second groupon Brazilian lindsay was super easy going and suggested I wait a bit longer next time also was able to get a an eyebrow wax and she explained how the hairs lay and the direction and all that good stuff This is definitely my spot for waxing! read more

I have been going to Lindsey for years to get waxed and she is the best! She also gives the best organic spray tan around! Absolutely not orange and NO SMELL! She is a must see and she also referred me to Chelsea who now does my hair! It's a great one stop shop! read more

I have been going to see Brandy for over 9 years now. I have never had to wait, but if I did the waiting area is bright and comfortable, and there is always someone there to offer something to drink. In 9 years I have not had a single complaint for Brandy. I love that she is honest about what she thinks will and will not work for me, she knows my hair better than anyone. I have had my color done, cuts, highlights, brazilian blow outs, extensions and have always been thrilled with the results. She has always gone out of her way to accomodate my crazy schedule, which being a single working mom can be hard to do at times. I recommend her to everyone I know. Studio 486 is adorable and in a perfect location in Newport Beach. It has great lighting, great product selection, friendly staff, very clean, good parking, easily accessible. I am in the salon about every 4 weeks and can honestly not come up with a negative thing to say. If someone is in need of a new salon I highly recommend going to Studio 486. I think you should visit Brandy but in my opinion you really can't go wrong with anyone in there!!!! read more

Love this place! Jen Park always manages to fit me in no matter how difficult I make it. She is fast and accurate. Mimosa Saturdays don't hurt either. I love when I can go to a stylist and give them a rough idea of what I want, but mostly free range to do what they want because they are the professionals. Turns out great every time. read more

Lindsay is amazing!!! She was I helpful recommending products that were just right for my skin, never going anywhere else for a wax!! Such a cute salon, highly recommend! read more
