To anyone reading this review, I'd say: go elsewhere if you don't want your hair to be ruined. As they say, all things must come to an end. I had been seeing Kelsey for a little over a year now, and things were good. She was able to bring my hair back to looking like it had not been completely botched by another stylist in the salon, and had also done a couple of Brazilian Blowouts. Things were good for a while, hence the reason for 4 stars. Things went south after my last visit where I got a Brazilian blowout. In the past, the results were always good, but not great. After my most recent visit in December, I noticed that my BB was not properly done. After the first wash, I noticed some frizz, but decided to hold back from saying anything. By week three, it's like I had a 10 week old BB. I have been using the Brazilian Blowout Shampoo and Conditioner and sulfate free heat protectant. When I reached out to Kelsey, she agreed that my hair looked like something had gone wrong and said she would reach out to her rep about what could have gone wrong and if we could possibly be able to redo the treatment without damage (I will add that I would have to pay again, but she would have possibly given a discount). I had to reach out again about 6 days later again for an answer. Kelsey responded that she had spoken to her rep who said that it was too soon to redo (of course) and that she had also spoken with the owner and another co-worker and I was accused of not putting "enough effort" in taking away the frizz in my hair. I was quite take back by her accusations. As someone who has been getting BB's since 2010, I've never had to put in much effort to make my hair frizz free in the first 4 weeks. Every time I blow dry, my hair would come out looking great and frizz free. So for Kelsey to make accusations was beyond irritating and I immediately decided to start looking for another stylist. After speaking with another stylist today, she concluded that not enough product was used on my hair, which is the reason my hair had a lot of frizz and looked like I had a 12 week old BB. I do recall Kelsey spending at most 60 seconds washing my hair at the beginning of the procedure, and the whole appointment lasting less than 2 hours. My past BB experience has had me in the chair for 2.5 hours. So I'm assuming Kelsey rushed through my service, resulting in a mediocre BB. My whole experience at Hampton Salon has been interesting. Do what you wish with my review. But I have no plans to be back. read more

So I wanted to come on here again since I've recently went back to Kelsey to have another service performed. This time I had weft extensions put in and let me tell you, THEY LOOK AMAZING. She color matched me and ordered the hair for me. I ended up getting 22 inch hair and was FLOORED when she installed it that it matched perfectly. I hadn't had my hair colored in ages because I loved the way my balayage had faded and with the darker roots it was super easy to maintain! So color me surprised that these extensions match so perfectly we didn't even have to tone my hair or anything! The process took about 2.5 hours (if not less, it went my quick so I don't even really know). I've had the hair in for about 10 days and so far I've gotten SO many compliments it's insane. No one can believe they're extensions because they blend so well and the wefts lay super flat! I've done the wash process and honestly it didn't take much longer than it would usually take me, however now of course I need more time to style it each morning. I workout about 4-5 times a week so I def have to wash once a week but she recommends once every 2 weeks if you don't work out a lot. Get whatever products she recommends to take care of it because honestly it's worth it. This hair is so soft and silky and I want to take the best care I can of it so it lasts. I had my hair done by a stylist who was still in training and it didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I felt really bad because they are so sweet and were trying their best, but I had a big meeting and needed to feel like I looked professional and polished. I went to another salon the next morning to try to get it fixed, but it made things worse, so I thought I'd have to find yet another salon to try and fix my hair. Luckily, the Hampton salon manager ended up reaching out to me and set me up with an educator who was willing to fix my hair free of cost. Jamie was so kind and was willing to squeeze me in on the same day to accommodate my schedule. She is incredibly talented and was able to make me feel confident and beautiful again. The results are absolutely stunning. I'm just in shock of how she was able to transform my hair. She did a phenomenal job and I'm so grateful for what she did for me. I'm really sad that things didn't work out the first time around, but everything happens for a reason. The salon made things right and Jamie ensured me that this was a learning experience for all of us. We all make mistakes and grow from them. I have dyed Asian hair and have been wanting to dye my hair purple for the longest time. After Arthur walked me through the steps, I trusted him with my hair. He was very patient despite me having thick hair and with more hair than an average person.
